DJ Stevens is a solid TE that doesn’t get talked about enough great blocker, averages 10 yards a reception, and he’s got the height…definitely worth at least a look…I mean he’s not Georgia’s or Iowa’s TE but worth a look…
Thanks for showcasing these games. Coach Sanders earns my respect for fighting for more recognition.
This game was JSU vs AAMU and The Referees 🤷 This game was terribly called if you were watching the Refs definitely had an agenda against JSU. 4 TD's took away and an interception.

I would love to see them play a top team for some kinda fcs championship at least they were at #5 right behind north Dakota who has 2 losses regardless just because you lost to good teams doesn't mean you are a good team

You obviously didn't watch the game in it's entirety. It basically was a blowout by JSU. The Refs called back 4 TD's an interception and fumble.

Don't jinx them. The only people who thought M*ch*g*n would beat Ohio State last year lived in Ann Arbor, but they did.
Funny how this game was sold out but the stands were 1/2 full.

No they don’t..the FCs as a whole has a playoff and we have the celebration bowl watch is the Black National championship…if a team go like 9-2 from the conference and that team is not in the celebration bowl they may get a playoff bid..but the top team in the conference and the top team in the meac conference face off in the celebration
Technically the Celebration Bowl is not a championship game. It is a bowl game it’s just that ESPN now sells it as a championship game but that is incorrect. A HBCU FCS team can lose the celebration bowl or got go to the CB and still win the Black National football championship. Case in point last year was a 3 way split for the FCS black national championship. The split was between FAMU, JSU and SC State. This is because the HBCU champion is based on a black writers poll who actually cover HBCUs (unlike ESPN). Though if JSU runs the table this year and wins the Celebration Bowl they will be undisputed FCS HBCU national Champions

@@willfrazier8485 lol, no the hell they will not. They are not moving to the SEC, ACC, Big 10 or PAc 12. They add nothing of value to the Big 12 since all of the other options will not happen. Big 12 losing Texas and Oklahoma adding JSu does absolutely nothing to the conference. Would get destroyed anyway in the Big 12

Strength of schedule unfortunately hurt JSU because winning against SWAC schools aren't good enough to impress the Stats poll when other top 10 schools are playing each other or other ranked teams. At the end of the day, the higher you climb in a poll, the harder it is to continue moving up if you don't have a good SOS
@@MrKingpin1205 if they got the best lineman recruits for the next year they would definitely be able to beat an FBC school I don't know about no Georgia but they could even beat Florida state maybe that would be kinda cold if he got good enough to beat Florida state next year
@@isaiahamos4276 Yeah but regardless, polls are heavily based off who you play and going undefeated against mostly bad teams aren't going to get you deep in the top 10 rankings.
As a JSU fan, I would love to see them play and beat Florida State but we don't have them scheduled and I doubt they'll be stupid enough to schedule JSU when they're still trying to rebuild their program back to their former glory after Jimbo Fisher left.

And saying hbcu football is better is a joke if deion and Travis hunter never went to a hbcu nobody will be talking about those college they're a joke just like they're team that why nfl team never look at hbcu players they go for the pac12, sec, big ten and big 12 because that where real football come from.
