I’m from Meridian MS a little over an hour from Jackson and JSU. It’s incredible to see what Coach Prime has done for the program and what he’s trying to do for the city. Lord knows Jackson needs it. I hope his presence can stretch far enough to stop all the crime and senseless death. God Bless.

Another fine game from Jackson State. Coach Prime has something going at JSU. Some NFL-quality contact - esp by Bethune Cookman players. Oh yeah - and it's the first time I have ever seen 3 safeties in one game.

I wish there was a way for JSU to not only play in the Celebration Bowl, but also in the FCS Playoff, cus going back to Coach Prims's comment on staying with tradition, or branching off, they would be better off, to me, capping off their season in the FCS Playoff & not the Celebration Bowl. I wanna see what JSU can do vs. Weber St., Montana St., UTC, UIW, Holy Cross, etc. Let them maybe pass the opportunity to play in the Celebration Bowl & let them earn a bid to the playoff. IDK just my thoughts or schedule them better non-conference competition.
Hopefully more people start going to HCBUs and it will make it conference more competitive

Trust and believe, if the football facilities are bad, your team will perform bad each and every week! I can see the little things that BC was doing wrong offensively and defensively. There’s no techniques practiced, no tackling drills, no gap responsibility, no push by defensive line, no continuity or chemistry offensively…..just poor coaching. It’s embarrassing. There’s more team organization on minor league football teams than BC. Reed would have brought that fresh blood, that new dog and passion!!! I’ve played for great coaches and there was nothing I wouldn’t do to get better each day.

It bad enough that guys celebrate first downs or even making a tackle, but what an accomplishment to celebrate those things against Bethune Cookman. Also, how is this team ranked 8th and they’re playing teams like this in the middle of the season.

JSU continues to become very predictable as the opposing defense only has to cover Dallas Daniels and Shane Hooks. Two interceptions in one game? This could have been avoided by using Cam, Rico, Malachi, Quay, Trevonte, Mark and Christian which the opposing team does not have to prepare for due to the lack of play.

Yes Jackson st needs to be very careful. All the attention they get has really put a target on their backs. This team really was trying to hurt their players and you will see more of this the more attention they get
