  • The video accompanies several days of training for instructors from various BOS (authorities and organizations with safety tasks) who are to obtain a qualification as motorcycle driving instructors. Staff Sergeant Silvan Schneider belongs to the 13th Company of the Military Police Regiment 1 in Berlin. The Feldjäger have been training instructors for the Berlin police since 2006. The short course lasts 2 weeks and starts with 5 hours of theoretical training. This is followed by practical training with a clear structure: welcome/moderation, technique check, warming up, sloalom, stabilization, evasive maneuvers with/without brakes, single-wheel braking, emergency braking and the cornering styles of laying and pushing.
In the course shown here, four police officers, an emergency paramedic from the Johanniter and a military police officer from Munster are being trained. The course is usually fully booked with 10 participants. Here 4 participants were absent at short notice due to illness.
