- The escort of the Berlin police can often be seen during state visits and ambassador accreditations. In this video we accompany the motorcyclists of the Berlin police escort and traffic group (BVHu) during one of their regular driver training courses in the Berlin area. The spectator is taken into the preparation and the drive through the city traffic and over the motorway to the training ground in Kallinchen south of Berlin. After warming up with some acrobatic exercises, the training starts with different escort scenarios: curves, different road surfaces and everything always in a uniform V-shape. Then easy and difficult courses are completed and braking on gravel or at high speed on wet roads is practiced. A driving instructor has his say and there are further explanations from the off by motorbike instructor Dennis H., who himself is a member of the BVHu.

I just say I find it incredibly rewarding your organisation shares this materials, as it allows the public to develop their skills and become safer riders.
I wish the Australian authorities would do the same, but they think it’s of risk to let the public know their methods.
It's a "project". If you have an documentary idea you can make contact to the press office and figure out what is possible. Then they create a project and you are assigned a unit and carry out the documentary with this unit. After this the press office and other responsible units are checking the movie for classified stuff. And only then the material can be published. So it depends on our project ideas and the feasibility. Maybe in Australia you can do the same. It is not easy to find the appropriate responsible bodies in Germany either. We have made more than 100 documentaries so we know who to ask.

Unfortunately authorities here believe such knowledge should not be made available to public. There have been interviews with the various mc units and they say “we are not able to share our confidential methods with those outside of their units”.

Am Ende eines wirklich guten Pkw-Trainings gibt es einen Parkour. Schnellstart, wenden in einer Engstelle, abbremsen, Ampel mit Schrittgeschw. passieren, wieder Kickdown, schnelle Spurwechsel, einparken in kleiner Lücke, wieder raus usw. Macht richtig Laune. Aber überall Hütchen und eine kleine Berührung reicht und es wird abgebrochen. Das muss in einem Rutsch sitzen. Joah und am dem besagten Tag hatte ich echt einen guten Lauf. Zuhause kurbel ich auch mal länger beim Parken, wenn mein Nachbar die Markierungen auf dem Boden wieder nur als unverbindlichen Ratschlag gesehen hat. Aber da geht's ja auch um mein Auto. :D
Das Training war mit einem gestellten Fahrzeug?
Ja. Die haben in der Regel um die 150PS und nur Vorderradantrieb. Bildet in etwa den Durchschnitt aller Fahrzeuge ab.
Der eine der sein Motorrad einfach abgewürgt hat😂
