Mercenary pilot from Wagner PMC fights for three days and is downed by Ukrainian defenders

  • The ruscist flew first combat sortie on June 14, and already on the 17th he was taken prisoner.
Now he is telling the SSU how he dropped bombs on Ukraine. He tries to justify himself and says that it was only a matter of ‘striking at strongholds, sites with concentration of enemy forces and manpower.’
However, when he saw the results of russia’s strikes on Ukrainian settlements on the video, the occupier’s self-confidence waned and he ‘suddenly’ realized that this was ‘not the right war, not a necessary war.’
The pilot flew 1-2 combat sorties a day.
He admits that, apart from him, there are other mercenaries, not russian army pilots, who fly russian fighter jets worth over USD 10 mln.
Mercenaries receive a wage of RUB 200,000 a month and additional bonuses for quantity and ‘effectiveness’ of sorties.
The main purpose of stay in Ukraine, according to the pilot, was ‘assisting the republics of Donbas’, while his combat sorties were ‘specific tasks.’
Well, now he will tell the SSU Military Counterintelligence in detail about those ‘specific tasks.’

Significant personalities of the era of denification of Ukraine are broadcasting. And about. commander of the 36th Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Volynsky Sergey Yaroslavovich. Known as the sender of a tear-jerking letter to the Pope and an applicant for salvation by mouth to Joe Biden, Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Boris Johnson. As you remember, he laid down his arms and raised ✋🤚.
"186 marines came out with Ilyich, 18 of them died. When we left, 33 of them were wounded and 44 were wounded as a result of actions at Azovstal. When we arrived, we reported to the leadership. They said that it would be nice, so that we record a video message that the 36th brigade still exists. Honestly? Here I eat better than I ate during the hostilities. Then we were given 50 grams of cereal per person and, as a bookmark, 5-6 cans of stew for 186 people. - I couldn’t argue or demand something from the Azov people, because I was afraid that we would be limited in those products that they give out "

I came into contact with detention officers and inmates in the process. I learned many things from these people. One thing that struck me then and I am reminded of in this article is a question asked of an inmate. The question is ; " why are you here ? what are you in for? I _think_ what he means is that a lot of the people fighting in Ukraine right how, aren't proper military personnel. Mostly civilians with a couple months of basic training, just enough to ensure they don't end up shooting themself or their squad mates; instead of career soldiers, who know how to function as a cohesive unit and how to react in various combat situations.
Just my take, though. But it _would_ corroborate why it's been such an awkward shitshow for the invaders...
Even if not, in *_my_* opinion, that's how wars should be fought, and seemingly have been... at least up until modern times.
      A invades B
B's military is sent in; A & B's militaries engage in combat
Some civilians get caught inbetween and are collateral damage.
But when it's an intentional genocide, that's when civilians become the target as well. However, Putin has done what he can to not make it (initially) look like they were trying to wipe out Ukrainians. Except, with modern weapons and communications, that _should_ be relatively easy since pinpoint accuracy should be possible. Emphasis on should, since the accuracy dissipated by the Russians has been WWI/II in quality (although I feel WWII ordinance teams might've been more accurate... heh). They lay waste to entire towns, "kill em all, let God sort em out" 😞

Psychology Trick: When he is looking to his (own) right side, his is inventing at that moment (upside means "forward in time" , down means "back in time"). When he is looking at his own left side, he is trying to remember, or give a real reason. That is due to brain hemisphere coordination with eyes function, it is not conscious and very very difficult to falsify even when you know about it. Exemple, when at the end he is saying he is "so sorry", and looks to his right side down (left seen from being in front of him), he is not sincere. Just saying what he thinks it is expected from him.

He is excercising his right not to incriminate himself. All military people have this right. They provide name and number. It is illegal to interrogate them beyond that.. If they are forced to answer, it's their patriotic duty to lie. And he is being forced to answer questions. You don't want him to lie , don't interrogate him. It's illegal , hypocrats

So many lies during interrogation? I raise my hat for him. Only traitors spill the beans from the first hit in the face by the torturer.

@@ab1858 I also applaud him for staying loyal and not instantly betraying his side.

Since he's a mercenary, apply Russian logic to him. If the two captive Americans die, so does he and another captured Russian mercenary. And, BTW - "major" is bogus, as he's not a member of the military. he might as well claim he's a "general"

He is asking for the rank he held while he served for the Russian military (he quit in 2015 but his mandatory service [since he obviously is a pilot] ended 2009).
Kinda obvious he do not work in a military structure?
I recommend the Ukrainians to later try to offer to exchange him for a numer of their POWs.
Then they don't have to feed him, get some of their own back, and I'm sure they won't ever see him again in their country...
