My C500's are so easy to drop in the case, I don't mind re-charging at all when the battery gets low. Just drop them in, put in pocket for a few minutes and you're ready to go again. I love them!
Just picked up a pair of these this morning off the back of your review. They were available locally for £100. Could've spent weeks going over the finer details but they're certainly an upgrade over my previous Anker Soundcore Liberty Neo which died after 2 years. If these last 2 years, then I'm fine with less than a £1 a week for daily listening.

these are great for small ears, theyre the first earbuds ive found that are actually comfortable. i have 2 pairs that i rotate and it makes living on a noisy road so much easier.
I'm on my third replacement wf-1000xm4s. All related to battery issues. First pair replaced was due to the battery drain issue on firmware version 1.4.2. Second replacement pair was due to the battery percentage indicator not moving down from 100% and the earbuds suddenly dying without warning.
Gamesky…I took your advice and set my Sony earbuds to excited only I pushed the bass up while leaving the other presets alone. These sound better than my previous $249 AirPods Pro 2’s. And I only paid $50. I purchased the Sony 510’s because I can live without anc but I thought I couldn’t live without wireless charging. However, the C700’s also didn’t have wireless charging. I have small ears so the WF 1000xm4’s never worked for me. The bass on these is incredible and the clarity of the sound is perfect. Comparable to my over ear WH1000xm4’s. Sony really did an excellent job on these. Battery 🔋 Life and volume is superb. They’re still on 100% and I listen at close to 50% volume and I have my headphone control volume set to low nothing above 85 decibels.
Got these earphones earlier this year. Worked fine for a while until the left bud suddenly stopped working. It won't pair despite numerous factory resets. Most solutions I found online don't work. Can't use them anymore. I saw similar complaints by other users, not just with the C700N's but even with higher-end models like the XM4's. Not sure if its a software issue
dude this helped out I wanted to buy Samsung ear buds first but then saw this and I saw more faults in Samsung earbuds 2 pro then in these earbuds, so good vid!
I absolutely love these!! Got them in the pretty lilac color and the battery life, ANC sound quality and comfort is far superior to my old 1000XM3s and I can lay in bed on my side without feeling then and they stay in all night and still have a lot of battery but my only complaint is the top of the case feels really cheap and makes a squeaking sound if you press your thumb on it and I'm not a fan of the big buttons on the side but I disabled them inapp settings
5:30 You are accidentally hitting the obvious flat surface on the xm4s? It is super obvious which part not to touch and you don't need to touch it to do any adjustments on them. I literally never have this problem
I get that EarFun Air Pro 3 has better battery, better waterproofing and wireless charging at a lower price tag, but how do these compare sound quality and ANC quality wise?
Personally I find the sound quality of these buds, less than £100 in the UK to be very natural especially voices. Classical music also sounds very good even powerful.
I’ve been using these earbuds for a couple of months now and I don’t hear any difference between noise cancelling on or off. The sound of cars and people talking and objects tapping all sound the same. Should I just send it back to get it fixed?
Yes the noise cancelling is excellent because it is reasonable, they don't cut all the background noise but minimized enough to make the music enjoyable. Many other earbuds make the absolute NC but they have to scarifice the owner's long time hearing.
I just bought these after my xm4s (3 years old) just seem to be dropping charge, my right earbud kept going from 100% to switching off in 20 mins... shame but i feel like these cn700n's really keep up!
After the battery life, I had no interest in these. One charge in the case. Come on it would be bad if the buds hold 12 hours and the case 12. But 9 and 9...😬
Thx for sharing this review. Picked up a set from Prime Deal Day for $88. They're good but must admit they're a bit of a middle-road set as there are sooo many other options out there. Will continue testing and can attest the sound quality is for my liking using the custom EQ (presets are just app-fillers, hope they update to offer a 7-band EQ). Thx!!
Don't by this earphones if you have an iPhone but not iOS 16. Sony discontinued the application for previous versions. Plus they come with absolutely no documentation. Only a QR code that is supposed to link to the online documentation, but only links to Sony advertising. Noise cancelling is set on and off through a single tap on the left earphone, and each of the TWO (only) modes are distinguish by a different set of notes. The problem is you don't know what are these two modes (among the three existing, which are Noise Cancellation, Transparency, and Off. My guess is that it's Noise Cancellation and Transparency. What the difference? Really not much. Setup a continuous noise near you, such as a computer with a fan. This is the kind of noise that is the most easy to cancel. None of the available mode cancels it. What one mode does, is adding a continuous hum noise. This is the way Sony tricks you into thinking it's noise cancelling. In fact it only cancels in one mode the noise that it adds in the other (probably transparency).
Noise cancellation is worthless. I have passive noise cancellation earphones (aka earbuds) that block-out noise better than the WF-C700's do. Needs to be an official standardized active noise cancellation percentage rating system (0% to 100% scale) so people aren't throwing away money on purchases and creating more e-waste in landfills.
Well I have these and I use them all day long No problem with the batterie. Also voices sound very natural and it's quite a wide sound station even some good bass which is a surprise me more than once. And costing less than £100 in the UK representing very good value for money. Even better if the dual point Bluetooth comes along. As to the manual for it just download it same as all the others PDF file. I listen to quite a lot of classical music and it sounds very good quite detailed. As they were under warranty, I visited the service center, and the earbuds were replaced by September 2024. However, it is now January 12, 2025, and I am facing the same issue again. I tried troubleshooting on my own, but this time I have been unsuccessful.
Unfortunately, the product is now out of warranty, and I am left with no solution. I have wasted thousands of Indian rupees and regret trusting the Sony brand. It’s disappointing that such an expensive product fails so quickly and repeatedly.
I would not recommend anyone to buy these earphones as you will also waste your hard-earned money. Save yourself the trouble and choose a more reliable brand.
