I often find myself wishing each and every guitar player could just try a Quartermaster. It's no exaggeration to say your playing life will be changed. I have some cherished pedals but could easily get along without them before giving up my Quartermaster and TheGigRig power supply. These are honestly my only "can't live without" elements. And while it's hard to be amazed anymore, the support team truly are amazing. Thanks, Dan.
I’ve had my G3 a few years now. I LOVE IT. Not much of a learning curve, sounds very clean, midi works amazingly well, I run in stereo with no hum, crystal clear cleans, and no signal loss. Gig Rigs tech support is very friendly and have helped me out more than a few times on issues I’ve had (user issues, not G3 issues). I love it!
I've bought a Carl Martin Octaswitch mk 3 as I wanted to buy a Gig Rig G3 but they were out of stock. So for now, I'm using the Carl Martin as a temporary switch and I already love the lack of tap dancing and my tone is definitely way better going into this thing. I have recently bought a Strymon Timeline, Big Sky and Mobius and will be buying an Eventide H90 in a few months so I really can't wait till I can afford a Gig Rig G3 (and they are available again) so I can use it for midi programming as well as switching the audio signals. Its all very exciting! :)
Show the difference it makes in tone! Love the products and believe the difference, but think it makes a really strong argument to show that difference!
If I have a Stereo Pedal (TRS Cable) in Loop 8, for example, can I still use the 're-order' function to move it before a Mono Pedal in Loop 4, for example? Would the GigRig just sum the stereo signal to mono before placing it before Loop 4?
Once you have a stereo loop, it’s in parallel, so if you move a stereo loop from the end of the chain to the middle, you are changing the split point for the parallel line 👍
Hi Dan! What a cleverly made machine!! I have a question, do it allows you to put parallel effects, for having parallel reverb or delay in a mono signal? I think it's the only thing i love of my current ES-8 hahaha. I'm wishing to earn enought money to buy one of your G3s!! By the way, it would be so freaking good to have an european dealer to avoid taxes of importing from UK! Wish the best for you, guys!
I am looking to buy one. Can you please tell me if i have a pedal that has presets saved in it and it can receive midi messages, can I also make presets with a switcher so that when I change the switcher preset it changes preset inside a pedal over midi? Can you combine turning of and On analog pedal with changing the preset over midi for example on a zoom multieffect pedal and also turning it on or with a single click on a guitar switcher? I hope you understan what I ask? Thx
Hi there. Absolutely. You can recall any saved sounds in your pedal via G3’s midi. You can send up to 20 different midi messages from a single footswitch. 🤓🙏
Hey Dan question: I do not play in a "preset/set list" format but I would still like a loop switcher to save "the tap dance". Is there switchers that just turns on/off individual pedals without having to bank them together?
You really need to separate the control unit/loops and the switching unit using Bluetooth wireless. You don't want the switching unit on your pedalboard because it takes up a lot of the pedalboard space. The switching unit should be bluetooth wireless and able to place it by the mic stand while your pedalboard has the control unit mounted underneath the pedalboard which can have 50 effects loops. Until then its a waste of pedalboard space tell your EE engineers to do a bluetooth wireless version 2.0
Thanks. This vid is a basic overview of what a switching system does but with G3 you can separate the audio and the control unit so all your pedals can be in a rack off stage. It uses a 7 pin din plug so you don’t need to worry about the floor unit being powered, it’s powered from the EXT kit. Thanks Wayne

Ah Mr Barge, thank you kind sir 🙏

Bless you mate, thanks so much
I bought a cheap loop switcher off ebay a few years ago and never looked back.
Its nice to switch all pedals in a single button press.
Where can I purchase a cheap loop switcher? These thinks cost a fortune! And suppose you have more than 10 pedals?
And,can I also control a foot volume control??
@@raybrodeur3886 Joyo is the best of the budget switchers in my opinion. I bought mine off ebay.
@@raybrodeur3886 I've never seen one with a built in volume pedal. If there is one, it's probably on a more expensive one.
Yeeees! I've had mine for about a year now - best decision I've ever done for my setup.
Much love from Greenland
Ah, thanks so much 🤓🙏
I've had G3 since it was released and upgraded to the G3S top board. Unbelievable bit of kit!!! You guys are killing it 🤘🤘🤘
Thank you so much Jimmy 🤓🙏🙏🙏
Love my quartermaster x8. It’s built like a tank and works great.
My QM8 arrives tomorrow :)
Love my G3!! Excellent video Dan!
Ah mate, you’re the best! Hope to see you soon. 🤓🙏

I don't know if I NEED it but I certainly do "need" it.
Great demo!
Cheers mate 🙏

Sure thing. It’s obviously different from rig to rig but I can certainly put something together 👍
good breakdown
I’m a proud Gigrig QM6 user. I use it for some simple flip flopping but ultimately it’s there to preserve my signal chain. Wouldn’t use anything else.
Thanks Dan, appreciate it 🙏

Hi Nando, yes, the parallel stuff in G3 is great. We have a dealer in Germany, Loopers Paradise. Cheers mate 🤓🙏

Hi Gregory, check out our QuarterMaster range, each individual pedal goes in its own loop that you turn on/off via its footswitch. Hope that helps 🙏
with the g2 can i send my overdrives in the front of the amp and my modulation, delays etc using mono send and stereo return?
