I have a feeling Crossed Out won’t be mentioned, so here’s a little rant about it:
I LOVE THIS SONG! The new vocals for Cuphead and especially Bendy sound amazing! The beginning with Cuphead starts off slow, but quickly becomes faster and more energetic, and then the main leifmotif kicks in and it is great. Then, Sans’ part also begin slow, but also quickly turns around. I love the Gaster sound effects in the background and the little leifmotives of other Undertale songs. Then, the teamup with Sans and Cuphead… this is the best part of the song. I love it, including the guitar solo, WHO DOESN’T LOVE THE GUITAR SOLO? Bendy then comes in, and this is the weakest part of the song. Still great, but a bit lesser then the other ones. Still like that you can hear Build Our Machine in the instrumental. Then the ending with all nightmares, where the instrumental almost goes silent, as all three nightmares sing together, that is AMAZING! Mike Geno, the composer, did well to not just leave this song as a voice test. If this song was in the OST, it would be the best.
So yeah, that’s my opinion on Crossed Out.
Edit: like I said in chat, Neo’s ranking Crossed Out in the bottom 4 hurts me more then Pirate’s Curse being at number 13 or Snake Eyes ranking so low.

I was in the chat for a bit, but had to stop because I have a retail job to tend to lol.
Nonetheless, I am SO happy Bonedoggle was your number one pick, since it’s mine as well. That song conveys the SkeleBros’ personalities perfectly.
The bony xylophone bit especially is both memorable and fitting given how much of a jokester Sans is in Undertale.
And of course, the pop-off section towards the end is still one of the best things I’ve ever heard out of any FNF song.
IMO, Bonedoggle is probably the crown jewel of Saster’s entire FNF catalogue. It does what it sets out to do to an absolute T, and it’s basically everything you could want depicting a song about the SkeleBros together.
All in all, I still liked this list in spite of my grievances with it. Good start to the next batch of your FNF rankings, and I can’t wait to see what’s next!
#1 - YIPPEEE FINALLY I FOUND A FELLOW BONEDOGGLE LOVERRRR. Also, funny you mentioned how Undertale-like the song's opening was, because Saster, the song's composer, made tracks for several Undertale fangames.
I believe that the second part of Freaky machine is supposed to reference Instruments of cyanide, also by DAgames. Although I wish it was gospel of dismay. (-_-;)
Also, glad to see I'm not the only fan of ritual/whoopee/despair/bad to the bone.
And one more thing!46:43 I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed that (•‿•)

This is easily one of my top three favorite mods! here's my personal ranking on the songs, with some explanation on some of them:
21. Saness: Do i need to explain? F tier
20. Ritual: Sammy is to quiet, i can hear him in like two parts of the whole song. C tier
19. Despair: Instrumental clears, but Bendy is two quiet, and it feels like spam at some parts. B- Tier
18: Bad time: Its honestly boyfriend that drags this song down, he just sounds off. B Tier
17: Terrible Sin: Its actually really good in some parts but it feels kind of repetitive and doesn't go anywhere. it just needs better chromatics. B Tier
16: Sansational: Fine, that's all i got to say about this one, The V2 is also good, but its not that big of a difference B+ Tier
15: Snake Eyes: Really good, but kind of short. Also Cuphead's chromatic is not Cuphead. But the V2 is sooooooo much better. A- Tier
14: Nightmare Run: To repetitive. That's it. A- tier
13: Satanic Funkin': The same as Nightmare Run, buts sounds a little better. A Tier
12.Whoopee: Really good, could be a little longer though. A Tier
11: Final Stretch: I feel like its carried by the the amazing Waterfall part. A tier
10: Technicolor Tussle: Best instrumental of all of FNF, but Cuphead's Chromatic does not fit this song. A+ Tier
9: Imminent Demise: Its the best definition of GOOD, no bad parts, but no amazing parts. A+ Tier
8: Gose: I don't know why its this high honestly. A+ Tier
7: Devil's Gambit: Fits Cuphead's chromatic the best, and it's really catchy. S Tier
6: Freaky Machine: It's just a cover, but of some of DAgames best songs. S Tier
5: Bad To The Bone: Papyrus good, Saness bad. S+ Tier
4: Burning in Hell: Amazing, but i wish it was a little longer SS Tier
3: Last Reel: Everything is so good. SS Tier
2: Bonedoggle: Sooooooooooo Good. i love it. SS Tier
1: Knockout: The closest thing to perfect. just give Cuphead his new Chromatic, and its in SSS+ tier. SS+ Tier

Ok so, i was disagreeing with this list until the halfway point, while there are some QUESTIONABLE placements (sensational being 2nd worst is a crime) but I get where you’re coming from, your points are strong and fair and even if the lower placements are some of my favourites I really do enjoy watching this,
Now for my issue, putting terrible sin over so much peak is crazy😭 anyway, good video.

I honestly don’t mind Cuphead’s chromatics and the V2 chromatics are an improvement I’m very excited for the entirety of V2. Knockout, Last Reel, and Burning in Hell are my absolute favorite songs in the mod. Also RIP Mugman in Knockout.

This is a very good list, even though bonedoggle is not my number 1 pick its still very high for me too as i love how the song shows the skeleton brothers personality, especially with the part of sans playing with the bones on his head and papyrus freaking out when he pulls them out, like papyrus wanted him to do something but wasnt expected that thats what he will do and i love it
Enough about my rant, a very good list and if you think about what else to rank id love for you to rank the pibby corrupted mod thats just got the 1.5 update, a lot of good songs on there for me

Honestly for me, N.R. and demise are tied for me, and as for the parts that feel too same-ish, I don't really care. To me, if a part that gets repetative is good sounding, i don't really care, plus the intensity at the ink machine part is soooooooo good

When you brought up Demise while Nightmare Run, I just had to say this. Demise is one of my favorite songs in Mario’s Madness, the note spam makes MX’s chromatic make sort of a rolling sound in the especially spammy sections, and in *that* section, the secondary chromatic could work. Someone made a remix of demise, which is the first result when you search it up, made it work, they used the chromatic BF has when he’s “talking”. And then they immediately butcher the turn immediately afterwards where the Mario 2 boss theme was used. Also
I accidentally pressed “Comment when I meant to keep trying, but I do agree with your take on Bad Time, it’s not my favorite. And what do you think about Crossed Out? It was written by Mike Jeno, who wrote Snake Eyes (and it’s the first Indie Cross song with the new Cuphead chromatic), and if you put it in the community tab, I haven’t looked at it yet.

I won’t “remake” this video I’ll just make a new one about V2.
I’ve always hated how the Untitled Goose was represented, like each other character is really well represented and their personalities and games totally fit the songs but Gose does not fit the Goose at at, feels like they just needed a joke song and to make it really feel like a joke song they gave him the MLG Glasses. Great. To compare two other joke songs, Milk & Nourishing Blood, Sunky’s games are slow and innocent but Milk is fast paced and has balls in your jaws as a melody, while Nourishing Blood represents both the Joel stream and Silvagunner while still sounding good and not taking any liberties to his character to make him a joke character which may seem easier than a Goose but rapping against a sociopathic Goose is funny enough you don’t need to drill it into my head that’s it’s funny, I think they should take more inspiration of stuff like Bad Day or Helium to actually characterize the Goose as the annoying little shit that it is and not a meme lord, this is why I prefer Hello Huggy so much because the whole joke is that theres a collective distaste to everything here and that they don’t deserve anything, and the song gets the not taking it seriously thing way better

Here are my disagreements with the ranking (not saying the ranking or Neo’s opinions are bad)
-Snake Eyes is underrated. It’s so good, and Cuphead’s chromatic is one of the best in the mod. I love this kind of music, so seeing it so low is very sad. The 2023 remaster is easily one of my favorite FNF songs ever.
-Burning in Hell is the best song, with Devil’s Gambit, Snake Eyes and Last Reel closely following it. I have to admit, first I considered Final Stretch to be the best Sans song and BIH was the worst. But after some time, this song grew on me.
-Bad to the Bone is a perfectly fine song. My problems are that the instrumental is a bit flat and the song is so short.
-Even though Saness is a terrible song musically, the song is so funny. I love Underpants, so seeing a reference that also has the same style as the series is great. This is a good bad joke song, unlike Welcome and Freddy Fartbear.
-Nightmare Run’s best section is the Ink Machine part, just like the best section of Demise is the Red Screen: The song slows down a little and that I like.
-Ritual just does nothing for me. The vocals are quiet, the instrumental is nothing to gawk over and the melody is just good.
-oh boy despair. Despair can be a great song, it has potential. Anjer’s cover of Despair almost brings out this song’s full potential, but if Bendy’s new vocals were added, BF’s vocals were put back and the choir remained, this would be in my top 5 best Indie Cross songs. But the base game song is boring. Yes, I don’t dislike it because it’s intense, long or Bendy’s chromatic is too quiet (although that is still a factor), but because the song is boring. I think the problem for me are just that the vocals sound so flat and dull and the instrumental doesn’t feel like a final boss song, because it’s empty. Probably because it is orchestral, while a full on rock or Death Metal instrumental would 100% boost this song’s placement on my ranking. Overall, Despair and Nightmare Run are like Demise: they haven’t reached their full potential yet, but we’ve seen glimpses of it and those were amazing.

Edit: I gave Terrible Sin another listen, and HOLY MOLY WAS I WRONG. Everything you said was true. I think I just jumped onto the hate train when I first heard it.
I can vibe to Snake Eyes. It’s a good song. Just my personal taste makes me not love it.
And yeah the Saness Reference is appreciated. I just don’t like having to suffer a headache listening to it lol
And yeah I totally agree on Despair and NR not reaching full potential. They have so much left but for me personally I just love what Despair has going for it already.
