Fun Fact! It was actually confirmed that that last scream from Grey in the funny 2nd Shinto song was him and Shinto being crushed to death slowly by the game breaking down from what I remember. Shintos 2nd phase was too high resolution for the game console they're both on, which is also why there was going to be a mechanic planned where the screen got really glitchy and bitcrushed, as the game was getting more and more unstable as the console basically overheated. (If you already knew this then I apologize-)

I'm not a jump scare person and I never have been when I first saw FNAF, and I never will be. Especially with a certain "car commercial" from I believe Germany that isn't even about a car that before I took a risk and watched it fully, never wanted to watch, which has a zombie jump-scare that made me scream at the top of my lungs. (No I'm not joking.) I pretty sure most people will know what commercial I'm talking about, but if you haven't seen it Neo, be warned, this one ad is known for being one of the scariest ads ever. just as a side note, the reason Wigglytuff is called DISABLED is for two reasons 1. in the original creepypasta, Wigglytuff's moves get disabled each turn 2. figuratively, Wigglytuff's voice has been disabled as for the reason Wigglytuff keeps turning around to look at the player, in the original creepypasta, text boxes keep appearing saying things like 'why can't i sing?' and 'can i have your voice?', so the representation in this mod is that as Wigglytuff is asking the player why it can't sing or why it can't use it's moves

I wanna say that in terms of Mike smiling, it can go either two ways. One way that I believe is the one that fits the context is that it’s him struggling to breathe. And the other way is that it’s Steven’s mind making him believe Mike’s an irredeemable monster who doesn’t feel guilty for what happened in the trade. At least that’s what I heard

The creepypasta characters in the back are very cool, especially Coronation Peach (despite the fact I’m not someone who loves Dark Forest in Mario’s Madness) and the two bartenders that pass by (Gold and GB) are especially cool. (GB is my favorite of the two. Marco would be proud of GB) And choosing your character is cool and I like how it’s a creepy version of the western SMB2 character select screen. (WARNING: REALLY LONG POST) I think I'll put my own 2 cents with this. For starters, saying that Sonic Exe 2.0's OST is more consistent is a hot as hell take. I only think the bottom 2 are bad. Shinto: You took the words right out of my mouth about this song. Worst one in the mod. Insomnia: I can agree the slow part is the best part, I thought the rest was bad, maybe it's just the chromatics Adam used. Dissension: I actually think this song's pretty good, the instrumental sounds pretty good. Brimstone: OOOH, what a hot take, I do think the chromatics sound good and fit, I also don't think it sounds as boring as you say it's at the same pace but I feel like the variety of chromatics and the part with the green filter give it enough to not sound boring to me. But I can say you are kind of right about the song being too long. Missingno: Another hot take but I can get why you think that way on this one. I think this song's decent, not really much to say. Shitno: I wouldn't say it's generic but I do just remember one part. Grey's chromatic is used a lot better here than Shinto, though I will say I think most of the song is good, but the pitch changed part is still the only one I consistently remember. Also, I don't know which part Adam did because I deel Innuendo and Saster pulled their weight a lot more. Bygone Purpose: Finally someone appretiates this song, the thing I like about the Punkett song's this mod is how they feel like they focus on the horror and sadness of the stories than sticking to game accuracy. Purin: I'm so glad Pico is not just repeating the opponent, and I haven't seen another slower song with Pico. Isotope: I think after Glitchy Red says no it really starts getting good and the part before his monolouge is the best part. Lost Cause: I love how it sounds so cinematic, I think I'd rather listen to this one over Left Unchecked any day of the week. Left Unchecked: One of Adam's best song's though it's not saying much since I'm not that much of a fan of their work anymore. I'd honestly rank it lower since I barely remember anything about it in both versions. Amusia: I don't know how to say Ponyta either. This song took some warming up for me, I'd say it's one of Saster's weaker works but that instrumental ending is the best part by far. And I feel like it does give off a better balance of Pokemon and horror than Brimstone (though I like Brimstone about as much). Frostbite: I wouldn't say it's overrated, it's a nice balance of somber and intense (the thing I like so much of Punkett's HL songs). Safetly Lullaby: BEST SONG IN THE ENTIRE MOD, I WILL DIE ON THIS HILL WITH THAT. I feel like I'm one of the few people who liked the original Safety Lullaby, and this version is the fully realized version of the original. Monochrome: Adam's version walked so Simply's version could run. This version to me is what we thought the original sounded like and more. I'm also in the camp of liking the new part the most. Pasta Night: I think this song is good, real jazzy with some forgettable parts, it honestly took longer for me to warm up to this song than Amusia. Death Toll: I think it's more of top 5 of the mod than number one. It does less of what I like with Punkett's HL songs but it definetely deserves it's popularity. Tldr: You have some hot takes but I do agree with your list in sone ways.

Here's some suggestions for future ranking videos. Spooky's Saturday Scare and *say it with me now* Hit Single Real. Both of the Mods have the distinction of having you unlock songs in unique ways. So I'd love to see how you'd rank that aspect of the songs if you do plan to rank everything about them.
My favorite thing about Pasta night other than the creepypastas in the back ground and the music is I think they Asked Marco Antonio to design MX for the song (Fact Checkers you know what to do) Along with all 3 of them not knowing what card game they are Playing as MX is playing Poker, Lord X is playing Uno and Hypno is playing the Pokemon Trading card game.
I’ll be honest I was expecting either Pasta Night or Death Toll or Bygone Purpose somewhere around the top and I was mostly correct with two of them with Bygone Purpose which I understand because of pathetic children hating slow songs and about Pasta Night and Death Toll, I respect your opinions about them because musically they’re some of the strongest within the community and I love it always the same way

I feel like brimstone was done kinda dirty here. I understand MOST of the points but i just love the main sorta track for this song (the pokemon battle theme) idk why but it just hits different for me and i just cant help absolutely loving it. I get the whole "kinda repetitive" thing and "too long" but tbh the song is just good enough imo that im kinda cool with it. I honestly dont really agree with the too long thing just because of how much there is with gengar, muck, white hand girlfriend, and buried alive whos vocals sound SO GOOD to me for whatever reason. Def in my top 3, unpopular or not.

Personally (purely musically & a little bit visually, I’m not letting my Pokémon bias get in the way) 17: Insomnia Forgettable and bad. I can say the other ones I don’t like at least tried to be interesting. This one has no interesting traits. The only notable thing is it’s in a minor key, I guess??? One out of the 16 that are??? 16: Shitno This one just sounds fecal. That’s not a bad thing, it’s memorable, but it’s just sort of abrasive and almost sounds like goo in a way. I could really put this higher but I don’t feel like it because it’s shit (literally). 15: Dissension Forgettable and “fine, I guess”. No defining traits but more to think about than Insomnia and not abrasive like Shitno. It does sort of speak wonders about how I think about the mod when I put the “bland but not terrible” song 3rd-worst. 14: Lost Cause Girlfriend singing Parents Pearest motifs at the start is neat. Rest of the song is just disconnected from literally anything. The melody could be slapped onto just about any creepypasta, it’s sort of just Hypno yelling at you while Girlfriend yells back or solos over it. 13: Isotope All-around just below good. Cool dialogue bit. 12: Safety Lullaby Pretty good. Neat gimmick of it being the voiceover Hypno poem. Hypno’s voice sounds a little bad but it’s hardly a full issue. I can accept it. 11: Monochrome Good. 10: Left Unchecked Better than Lost Cause because it has a discernible call-and-response sort of deal. Good melody, good beat, arpeggios in background music sound good, all fine and dandy for a neat song. 9: Frostbite Overrated, but not to say it’s bad. Really gets you into that dying in a cold barren mountain tundra kinda mood. Hopeless cold with a twinge of smoke from a trusty Typhlosion. Vocals are good and breathless like they should be. 8: Purin TOP NOTCH PICO VOCALS. HE JUST HEARD THIS DEMENTED-ASS JIGGLYPUFF AND WENT “Yeah that’s my kinda jam” AND HE WENT FOR IT. LOVE HOW SOMETIMES HE GOES WITH THE CHORD PROGRESSION AND SOMETIMES HE JUST BEATBOXES OVER THE JIGGLYPUFF. neat reversed bit and cool demented visuals too. 7: Bygone Purpose Chillest depression ever. Tells a good story within a constrained medium, takes the idea and runs. Also, love how the arrows scroll at different speeds, almost feels like crying in a weird sort of way. 6: Pasta Night Feels almost like cheating to put the dedicated joke song above all these high effort serious songs, which is why I constrained this banger to the 6th slot. Good! GREAT! *AMAZING!* Only held back by righteous indignation. 5: Missingno. Can fully understand why someone’d think this one is boring. I just think it’s really really good in what it does, and what it does is glitch out wildly and sound technologically mysterious. 4: Amusia YEAH BABY!!! DISABLED IS GREAT BUT PONYTA IS BETTER. LOVE MY SCARED-ASS NORMAL-ASS POKÉMON-ASS IDIOT. LOVE THE REMIX OF THE BATTLE/GYM LEADER THEME, LOVE THE RANDOM FREAKING OUT, BET MY HEART I’M PUTTING THIS TOP 5 3: Brimstone Interchangeable with any of the 2 below, but Amusia always goes above Missingno. Pretty good, only putting it in 3rd here because it’s the longest. Cool Gengar vocals, cool Muk vocals, Buried Alive is honestly the only bad one in his group, Mimic Gf’s bit is really good. I’ll be honest, I was a little mad at it’s placement. 2: Shinto HARD DISAGREE. Could get why you don’t like it, but to me, this one nails that “swanky little guy is coming to kill you” kinda feel. Less is more is really coming into play for this one for me, tbh. 1: Death Toll Same reasons as you, might be swapped with Shinto on any given day.

Of course, you got Death Toll, Amusia (correct me if I spelled that wrong), you got Purin where you play as Pico, ya got dissension where you play as Mike, you got Bygone Purpose where you play as Hypno and Alexsis (yes I counted it, cause I don't care), ya got Frostbite where you play as gold, and finally, the one that's probably on the nose cause it has a character selection, Pasta Night, where you play as either MX, Hypno or Lord X.

While I do agree that this mods ost is not the best I got to quickly say that there is hope for the ost and mod concreting how it got uncanceled a while back. Hopefully when it’s finished the ost will be top tier(also quickly the thing you said about slow songs in bygone purpose is so sadly true, I am one of the few fnf fans who always loves slower songs that are done well and it’s sad that a lot of people skip or don’t care for a song just because it’s slower, not every song has to have a high bpm and high energy instrumentals to be good, but almost no one seems to care)
I agree with some of your rankings but I mostly agree with a lot of your favorite parts and just about every point you make. Glad someone called out Left Unchecked V2. I hate when V2s ruin the songs, for me at least, by including unnecessary notes. I liked V1. Wasn’t my favorite but was a solid song. I’m also really glad you ranked Safety Lullaby so high. It really is underrated. Love the alternate lyrics and lavender town remix. Again I prefer the V1 though for unnecessary notes.
Watched this video and honestly, a pretty good ranking overall. While there are some things that I disagree with (cough cough *Brimstone at No.14* cough cough), it’s not too bad at the end of the day and I can see where you’re coming from. That being said, as someone who used to fondly listened to the Hypno’s Lullaby’s OSTs very regularly myself, here’s my own wonderful tier list from least favourite to most favourite: 17. Shinto (C+): Most forgettable song in this entire roster and is such a snooze fest. While I do like the restrainedly chill/goofy 8-Bit tone in nature, it’s not exactly my cup of tea and there’s really nothing memorable about it to note at all (5/10). 16. Shitno (B): Love the more chillingly eerie/intensely confrontative 8-Bit tone. That being said, I still view this in a similar sense to Shinto for being not being as memorable as I want it to be (6/10). 15. Bygone Purpose (A): I can appreciate the sad and gloomy mood that is oozed out in its entire runtime. That being said, this one is mainly low on my list simply out of personal preference for the other more memorable tracks (6.5/10). 14. Left Unchecked (A): The intensely suspenseful/confrontational vibe is perfectly emulated with the fast paced rising instrumentals/up-and-down melodies, though at times the whole thing can feel a little bit off for some reason and Hypno’s high-pitched/”stringy” vocals can also be obnoxiously overbearing for my liking despite it perfectly emulating his sense of overwhelming psychic authority if you get what I mean (7/10). 13. Safety Lullaby (A): I find it unique in how well Hypno’s creepily ominous lyrical singing perfectly complements with Girlfriend’s goofily boppy vocals - It kinda adds to a beautiful contrast in one trying to entice his victim while the other is too obnoxiously stupid to care and I love it (7.5/10). 12. Dissension (S): I love how confrontationally dreadful/ominously tense the whole song is throughout its entire runtime. The gloomy rock instrumentals and Steven’s raspy angry vocals complemented with Mike’s confusedly light vocals all blend well together to make the song such a suspensefully “scary” vibe and I love it - Also this song gets WAY too much hate which is such an unfortunate shame because what we have here for this song is actually pretty good imo (8/10). 11. Insomnia (S): The quietly soft vocals/soothingly flowy melodies in contrast to the slightly tense instrumentals/consistently fast pacing all blend well together so nicely which basically makes the entire song feel like such an immersive vibe to follow through in its decently long 4 minute and 58 second runtime imo (8/10). 10. Lost Cause (S): Out of the three main Hypno songs, this one is my favourite. The atmospherically intense and confrontational vibe is such a bop to rock with and I heavily love the frantically fast-paced instrumentals/semi-coherent high-pitched vocals/repetitively “spammy” yet catchy melodies - It all makes the song feel consistently flowy/immersive to follow with and the small breather moments scattered in certain parts of the song kinda helps make you “catch up to speed” if you get what I mean (8/10). 9. Purin (S): The ominously eerie/environmentally atmospheric vibe is really soothingly immersive and I like how Purin’s ghastly chilling long-note vocals perfectly complements Pico’s fast-paced freestyle short-note/atonal vocals that he’s so goodly known for - It kinda creates a harmoniously beautiful and well-crafted contrast between the two which I think is nice because it’s such a perfect flowy bop to follow with (8/10). 8. MissingNo (S): The glitchy 8-Bit instrumentals/boppy vocals/catchy melodies all work well in making the song really stand out. The beginning serves as a slowly good/immersive set up until the eventual rise to the middle act, where the latter just turns into one big energetically fast-paced pop-off for the remainder of the runtime before later suddenly switching to a more slowly relaxing/flowy tempo near the end which I think is nice (8.5/10). 7. Monochrome (S): This song just oozes out such a strongly powerful/memorably notable melancholically ominous and dreary feeling a lot and I heavily love it. The first half is so consistently immersive with the gloomy melodies/restrainedly bit-crushed instrumentals, and I like how much of a surprising fake-out the very middle section is when Gold says “NO MORE” in such a raspy way before immediately setting up the more tense and eerily rock-style second half which is somewhat of a cool standout - Not as great as the first half, but still good enough on its own right (8.5/10). 6. Isotope (S): The restrainedly consistent and catchingly memorable 8-Bit instrumentals/beat/melodies are all such a fun groovy bop to vibe with which I find to be extremely surprisingly great (9/10). 5. Frostbite (S): So atmospherically immersive with its hopelessly barren/cold vibe and I love it to a tee (it emulates that feeling absolutely perfectly imo). The first half is such a slowly chill yet harmonious set up with Red and Gold, while the second half has a much more tensely “on-edge”/horrifyingly crushing moment after the “safely mysterious” façade from before is suddenly removed right before our eyes with the Freakachu reveal (9/10). 4. Death Toll (S): Honestly overrated as f&ck imo but I can see why many people would love it (I also like it myself too). The intensely fast-paced “adrenaline-rushed” feeling is very immersive/fun to follow with and the Hell Bell’s sound effect serves as a really effective “on-edge” beat. The 1st Half is a really good bop and works extremely well in being a perfect restrained set-up to the 2nd Half, where the latter just starts popping off heavily for the remainder of its runtime all the way up to the end (9/10). 3. Amusia (S+): I love how it initially just starts of as a casually normal Gen1 Pokemon battle at the beginning up until it starts to gradually go completely hectic/crazy with the fast-paced intensity more and more all the way throughout its entire runtime - The ending is also nice as well since it concludes things off on such a sadly ominous mood (9.5/10). 2. Brimstone (S+): My absolute personal favourite song of the bunch! I just fondly like how it’s one big Pokemon battle all-throughout its entire 6 minute and 28 second runtime with its consistently catchy and energetically intense/ominous 8-Bit instrumentals/back-and-forth melodic singing (9.5/10). 1.Pasta Night (SS): SUCH AN ABSOLUTE FUN AND JOYFULLY JAZZY VIBE TO BOP WITH!!! This song is sooo f&ckin good at being consistently catchy with its upbeat and personality-filled instrumentals/melodies which all works well in making the whole thing feel like a well-crafted masterpiece that memorably sticks out a lot (it makes me want to relisten to it more and more which is such a nice feeling). GOD, I JUST LOVE THIS ONE SO MUCH AND IT DESERVES ALL THE PRAISES IT GETS (10/10)!!! These are just my thoughts but let me know what you (or anyone else reading my comment) think of this. Overall, I really love Hypno’s Lullaby a lot personally, even if many others may agree or disagree. For me, the art-style is so amazingly detailed, the gameplay mechanics are creatively difficult, and the OSTs are so gorgeous in emulating such a somewhat thematically immersive horror-esque tone which is nicely appreciative (they’re also such a greatly memorable bop as well and all of them are good in their own right - Well, all except for the Shinto songs but they’re still not too bad, just not too personally notable for my personal taste). Anyways, I think that’s all I have for now. Sorry for the long (and somewhat repetitive) rambling but I just had to get this out of the way since I have such an undoubted passionate for this absolute gem of an objectively beautiful/well-made high-effort mod (and the fact that it’s getting a revamped revival is kind of nice and I’ll definitely check it out when it releases). Although I think Adam is a great composer (I love Burning and Her World) It was pretty expected for most of his songs to be thrown near the bottom bay. His songs ARE ok, but they just feel... weak and maybe a bit boring, comparing his songs to others. BTW BASED PURIN FAN

This mod isn’t bad. I think the OST is weaker than many but it’s not a bad mod. It’s got great art and some of the songs are really good. But the FNAF version is…really bad overall.

If the mod gets a new version or patch yes. But from what I’ve heard the mod was cancelled some time back. Not cancelled by Twitter unlike most mods, but rather the team just stopped working on it.

Huh i expected vs fnaf 2 to be next but this is still nice as well. I do agree tho, a lot of the sings here a big misses for me too with only a few bangers that i actually love. And even then most of them i prefer the fnaf version instead made by pouria whos done a fnaf version/cover of this entire ost/mod. Anyway. For my major least faves id have to put purin in last, again not a fan of slow music. I can dig picos part yeah but jigglypuff is a huge miss for me, def creepy tho. And then after that itd probably be amusia and dissension as well as probably insomnia as those just all feel boring and empty to me. They have some good parts yeah but as a whole they have nothing very distinctive to them and just feel pretty generic. As for the top songs, death toll definetly up there, largely thanks to the lyrics cover it has thats absolute Banger and made me love death toll. And well monochrome literally my nr 1 song and possibly one of my absolute most favorite fnf songs as a whole ever. I LOVE monochrome so much. this version, the fnaf one, the lyrics version for it. All of them sound so incredibly good and exactly what i love. And honestly other then those two i dont really have any major favorite in this ost. Will give bygone purpose an honorable mention tho as despite it being not my type of music due to being slow paced, i still deeply love the song for the emotional value it has. Hearing it just makes me feel sorry for hypno, wants me to give him a hug and comfort him, and just makes me sad. And for that alone i cant put the song low. Definetly excited to see whatll be next up then. Am actually pretty curious now whether the rankings for the song would be the exact same or slightly different if you were to rank the fnaf version of this ost. As some of the songs there do sound a fair bit different then from the OG ost. Would def be a video id enjoy watching Edit.; actually i forgot isotope. Thatd prolly be im my top 3 as well. Fun Fact! It was actually confirmed that that last scream from Grey in the funny 2nd Shinto song was him and Shinto being crushed to death slowly by the game breaking down from what I remember. Shintos 2nd phase was too high resolution for the game console they're both on, which is also why there was going to be a mechanic planned where the screen got really glitchy and bitcrushed, as the game was getting more and more unstable as the console basically overheated. (If you already knew this then I apologize-)

I'm not a jump scare person and I never have been when I first saw FNAF, and I never will be. Especially with a certain "car commercial" from I believe Germany that isn't even about a car that before I took a risk and watched it fully, never wanted to watch, which has a zombie jump-scare that made me scream at the top of my lungs. I think I'll put my own 2 cents with this. For starters, saying that Sonic Exe 2.0's OST is more consistent is a hot as hell take. I only think the bottom 2 are bad.
Shinto: You took the words right out of my mouth about this song. Worst one in the mod.
Insomnia: I can agree the slow part is the best part, I thought the rest was bad, maybe it's just the chromatics Adam used.
Dissension: I actually think this song's pretty good, the instrumental sounds pretty good.
Brimstone: OOOH, what a hot take, I do think the chromatics sound good and fit, I also don't think it sounds as boring as you say it's at the same pace but I feel like the variety of chromatics and the part with the green filter give it enough to not sound boring to me. But I can say you are kind of right about the song being too long.
Missingno: Another hot take but I can get why you think that way on this one. I think this song's decent, not really much to say.
Shitno: I wouldn't say it's generic but I do just remember one part. Grey's chromatic is used a lot better here than Shinto, though I will say I think most of the song is good, but the pitch changed part is still the only one I consistently remember. Also, I don't know which part Adam did because I deel Innuendo and Saster pulled their weight a lot more.
Bygone Purpose: Finally someone appretiates this song, the thing I like about the Punkett song's this mod is how they feel like they focus on the horror and sadness of the stories than sticking to game accuracy.
Purin: I'm so glad Pico is not just repeating the opponent, and I haven't seen another slower song with Pico.
Isotope: I think after Glitchy Red says no it really starts getting good and the part before his monolouge is the best part.
Lost Cause: I love how it sounds so cinematic, I think I'd rather listen to this one over Left Unchecked any day of the week.
Left Unchecked: One of Adam's best song's though it's not saying much since I'm not that much of a fan of their work anymore. I'd honestly rank it lower since I barely remember anything about it in both versions.
Amusia: I don't know how to say Ponyta either. This song took some warming up for me, I'd say it's one of Saster's weaker works but that instrumental ending is the best part by far. And I feel like it does give off a better balance of Pokemon and horror than Brimstone (though I like Brimstone about as much).
Frostbite: I wouldn't say it's overrated, it's a nice balance of somber and intense (the thing I like so much of Punkett's HL songs).
Safetly Lullaby: BEST SONG IN THE ENTIRE MOD, I WILL DIE ON THIS HILL WITH THAT. I feel like I'm one of the few people who liked the original Safety Lullaby, and this version is the fully realized version of the original.
Monochrome: Adam's version walked so Simply's version could run. This version to me is what we thought the original sounded like and more. I'm also in the camp of liking the new part the most.
Pasta Night: I think this song is good, real jazzy with some forgettable parts, it honestly took longer for me to warm up to this song than Amusia.
Death Toll: I think it's more of top 5 of the mod than number one. It does less of what I like with Punkett's HL songs but it definetely deserves it's popularity.
Tldr: You have some hot takes but I do agree with your list in sone ways.

I feel like brimstone was done kinda dirty here. I understand MOST of the points but i just love the main sorta track for this song (the pokemon battle theme) idk why but it just hits different for me and i just cant help absolutely loving it. I get the whole "kinda repetitive" thing and "too long" but tbh the song is just good enough imo that im kinda cool with it. I honestly dont really agree with the too long thing just because of how much there is with gengar, muck, white hand girlfriend, and buried alive whos vocals sound SO GOOD to me for whatever reason. This one just sounds fecal. That’s not a bad thing, it’s memorable, but it’s just sort of abrasive and almost sounds like goo in a way. I could really put this higher but I don’t feel like it because it’s shit (literally).

Forgettable and “fine, I guess”. No defining traits but more to think about than Insomnia and not abrasive like Shitno. It does sort of speak wonders about how I think about the mod when I put the “bland but not terrible” song 3rd-worst.
14: Lost Cause
Girlfriend singing Parents Pearest motifs at the start is neat. Rest of the song is just disconnected from literally anything. The melody could be slapped onto just about any creepypasta, it’s sort of just Hypno yelling at you while Girlfriend yells back or solos over it.

All-around just below good. Cool dialogue bit.

Overrated, but not to say it’s bad. Really gets you into that dying in a cold barren mountain tundra kinda mood. Hopeless cold with a twinge of smoke from a trusty Typhlosion. Vocals are good and breathless like they should be.

TOP NOTCH PICO VOCALS. HE JUST HEARD THIS DEMENTED-ASS JIGGLYPUFF AND WENT “Yeah that’s my kinda jam” AND HE WENT FOR IT. LOVE HOW SOMETIMES HE GOES WITH THE CHORD PROGRESSION AND SOMETIMES HE JUST BEATBOXES OVER THE JIGGLYPUFF. neat reversed bit and cool demented visuals too.
7: Bygone Purpose
Chillest depression ever. Tells a good story within a constrained medium, takes the idea and runs. Also, love how the arrows scroll at different speeds, almost feels like crying in a weird sort of way.

Feels almost like cheating to put the dedicated joke song above all these high effort serious songs, which is why I constrained this banger to the 6th slot. Good! GREAT! *AMAZING!* Only held back by righteous indignation.

Technically, there's more than 1 song where you don't play as BF or GF. You got shinto and...... the other shinto song, where you play as grey. Of course, you got Death Toll, Amusia (correct me if I spelled that wrong), you got Purin where you play as Pico, ya got dissension where you play as Mike, you got Bygone Purpose where you play as Hypno and Alexsis (yes I counted it, cause I don't care), ya got Frostbite where you play as gold, and finally, the one that's probably on the nose cause it has a character selection, Pasta Night, where you play as either MX, Hypno or Lord X.
17. Insomnia. Alright song, BUT DID IT NEED TO BE 5 MINUTES LONG???? It gets really boring.

While I do agree that this mods ost is not the best I got to quickly say that there is hope for the ost and mod concreting how it got uncanceled a while back. Hopefully when it’s finished the ost will be top tier(also quickly the thing you said about slow songs in bygone purpose is so sadly true, I am one of the few fnf fans who always loves slower songs that are done well and it’s sad that a lot of people skip or don’t care for a song just because it’s slower, not every song has to have a high bpm and high energy instrumentals to be good, but almost no one seems to care)

Watched this video and honestly, a pretty good ranking overall. While there are some things that I disagree with (cough cough *Brimstone at No.14* cough cough), it’s not too bad at the end of the day and I can see where you’re coming from. That being said, as someone who used to fondly listened to the Hypno’s Lullaby’s OSTs very regularly myself, here’s my own wonderful tier list from least favourite to most favourite:
17. Shinto (C+): Most forgettable song in this entire roster and is such a snooze fest. While I do like the restrainedly chill/goofy 8-Bit tone in nature, it’s not exactly my cup of tea and there’s really nothing memorable about it to note at all (5/10).
16. Shitno (B): Love the more chillingly eerie/intensely confrontative 8-Bit tone. That being said, I still view this in a similar sense to Shinto for being not being as memorable as I want it to be (6/10).
15. Bygone Purpose (A): I can appreciate the sad and gloomy mood that is oozed out in its entire runtime. That being said, this one is mainly low on my list simply out of personal preference for the other more memorable tracks (6.5/10).
14. Left Unchecked (A): The intensely suspenseful/confrontational vibe is perfectly emulated with the fast paced rising instrumentals/up-and-down melodies, though at times the whole thing can feel a little bit off for some reason and Hypno’s high-pitched/”stringy” vocals can also be obnoxiously overbearing for my liking despite it perfectly emulating his sense of overwhelming psychic authority if you get what I mean (7/10).
13. Safety Lullaby (A): I find it unique in how well Hypno’s creepily ominous lyrical singing perfectly complements with Girlfriend’s goofily boppy vocals - It kinda adds to a beautiful contrast in one trying to entice his victim while the other is too obnoxiously stupid to care and I love it (7.5/10).
12. Dissension (S): I love how confrontationally dreadful/ominously tense the whole song is throughout its entire runtime. The gloomy rock instrumentals and Steven’s raspy angry vocals complemented with Mike’s confusedly light vocals all blend well together to make the song such a suspensefully “scary” vibe and I love it - Also this song gets WAY too much hate which is such an unfortunate shame because what we have here for this song is actually pretty good imo (8/10).
11. Insomnia (S): The quietly soft vocals/soothingly flowy melodies in contrast to the slightly tense instrumentals/consistently fast pacing all blend well together so nicely which basically makes the entire song feel like such an immersive vibe to follow through in its decently long 4 minute and 58 second runtime imo (8/10).
10. Lost Cause (S): Out of the three main Hypno songs, this one is my favourite. The atmospherically intense and confrontational vibe is such a bop to rock with and I heavily love the frantically fast-paced instrumentals/semi-coherent high-pitched vocals/repetitively “spammy” yet catchy melodies - It all makes the song feel consistently flowy/immersive to follow with and the small breather moments scattered in certain parts of the song kinda helps make you “catch up to speed” if you get what I mean (8/10).
9. Purin (S): The ominously eerie/environmentally atmospheric vibe is really soothingly immersive and I like how Purin’s ghastly chilling long-note vocals perfectly complements Pico’s fast-paced freestyle short-note/atonal vocals that he’s so goodly known for - It kinda creates a harmoniously beautiful and well-crafted contrast between the two which I think is nice because it’s such a perfect flowy bop to follow with (8/10).
8. MissingNo (S): The glitchy 8-Bit instrumentals/boppy vocals/catchy melodies all work well in making the song really stand out. The beginning serves as a slowly good/immersive set up until the eventual rise to the middle act, where the latter just turns into one big energetically fast-paced pop-off for the remainder of the runtime before later suddenly switching to a more slowly relaxing/flowy tempo near the end which I think is nice (8.5/10).
7. Monochrome (S): This song just oozes out such a strongly powerful/memorably notable melancholically ominous and dreary feeling a lot and I heavily love it. The first half is so consistently immersive with the gloomy melodies/restrainedly bit-crushed instrumentals, and I like how much of a surprising fake-out the very middle section is when Gold says “NO MORE” in such a raspy way before immediately setting up the more tense and eerily rock-style second half which is somewhat of a cool standout - Not as great as the first half, but still good enough on its own right (8.5/10).
6. Isotope (S): The restrainedly consistent and catchingly memorable 8-Bit instrumentals/beat/melodies are all such a fun groovy bop to vibe with which I find to be extremely surprisingly great (9/10).
5. Frostbite (S): So atmospherically immersive with its hopelessly barren/cold vibe and I love it to a tee (it emulates that feeling absolutely perfectly imo). The first half is such a slowly chill yet harmonious set up with Red and Gold, while the second half has a much more tensely “on-edge”/horrifyingly crushing moment after the “safely mysterious” façade from before is suddenly removed right before our eyes with the Freakachu reveal (9/10).
4. Death Toll (S): Honestly overrated as f&ck imo but I can see why many people would love it (I also like it myself too). The intensely fast-paced “adrenaline-rushed” feeling is very immersive/fun to follow with and the Hell Bell’s sound effect serves as a really effective “on-edge” beat. The 1st Half is a really good bop and works extremely well in being a perfect restrained set-up to the 2nd Half, where the latter just starts popping off heavily for the remainder of its runtime all the way up to the end (9/10).
3. Amusia (S+): I love how it initially just starts of as a casually normal Gen1 Pokemon battle at the beginning up until it starts to gradually go completely hectic/crazy with the fast-paced intensity more and more all the way throughout its entire runtime - The ending is also nice as well since it concludes things off on such a sadly ominous mood (9.5/10).
2. Brimstone (S+): My absolute personal favourite song of the bunch! I just fondly like how it’s one big Pokemon battle all-throughout its entire 6 minute and 28 second runtime with its consistently catchy and energetically intense/ominous 8-Bit instrumentals/back-and-forth melodic singing (9.5/10).
1.Pasta Night (SS): SUCH AN ABSOLUTE FUN AND JOYFULLY JAZZY VIBE TO BOP WITH!!! This song is sooo f&ckin good at being consistently catchy with its upbeat and personality-filled instrumentals/melodies which all works well in making the whole thing feel like a well-crafted masterpiece that memorably sticks out a lot (it makes me want to relisten to it more and more which is such a nice feeling). GOD, I JUST LOVE THIS ONE SO MUCH AND IT DESERVES ALL THE PRAISES IT GETS (10/10)!!!
These are just my thoughts but let me know what you (or anyone else reading my comment) think of this. Overall, I really love Hypno’s Lullaby a lot personally, even if many others may agree or disagree. For me, the art-style is so amazingly detailed, the gameplay mechanics are creatively difficult, and the OSTs are so gorgeous in emulating such a somewhat thematically immersive horror-esque tone which is nicely appreciative (they’re also such a greatly memorable bop as well and all of them are good in their own right - Well, all except for the Shinto songs but they’re still not too bad, just not too personally notable for my personal taste). Anyways, I think that’s all I have for now. Sorry for the long (and somewhat repetitive) rambling but I just had to get this out of the way since I have such an undoubted passionate for this absolute gem of an objectively beautiful/well-made high-effort mod (and the fact that it’s getting a revamped revival is kind of nice and I’ll definitely check it out when it releases). Although I think Adam is a great composer (I love Burning and Her World) It was pretty expected for most of his songs to be thrown near the bottom bay.
His songs ARE ok, but they just feel... weak and maybe a bit boring, comparing his songs to others.

If you thought this mod was bad. Take a look at FNAF Lullaby, they did so many good songs dirty…especially Lost Cause. Also if you need me to rant about the FNAF Lullaby version of Lost Cause I can.
This mod isn’t bad. I think the OST is weaker than many but it’s not a bad mod. It’s got great art and some of the songs are really good.
But the FNAF version is…really bad overall.

If the mod gets a new version or patch yes. But from what I’ve heard the mod was cancelled some time back. Not cancelled by Twitter unlike most mods, but rather the team just stopped working on it.

Huh i expected vs fnaf 2 to be next but this is still nice as well. I do agree tho, a lot of the sings here a big misses for me too with only a few bangers that i actually love. And even then most of them i prefer the fnaf version instead made by pouria whos done a fnaf version/cover of this entire ost/mod.
Anyway. For my major least faves id have to put purin in last, again not a fan of slow music. I can dig picos part yeah but jigglypuff is a huge miss for me, def creepy tho.
And then after that itd probably be amusia and dissension as well as probably insomnia as those just all feel boring and empty to me. They have some good parts yeah but as a whole they have nothing very distinctive to them and just feel pretty generic.
As for the top songs, death toll definetly up there, largely thanks to the lyrics cover it has thats absolute Banger and made me love death toll. And well monochrome literally my nr 1 song and possibly one of my absolute most favorite fnf songs as a whole ever. I LOVE monochrome so much. this version, the fnaf one, the lyrics version for it. All of them sound so incredibly good and exactly what i love. And honestly other then those two i dont really have any major favorite in this ost.
Will give bygone purpose an honorable mention tho as despite it being not my type of music due to being slow paced, i still deeply love the song for the emotional value it has. Hearing it just makes me feel sorry for hypno, wants me to give him a hug and comfort him, and just makes me sad. And for that alone i cant put the song low.
Definetly excited to see whatll be next up then. Am actually pretty curious now whether the rankings for the song would be the exact same or slightly different if you were to rank the fnaf version of this ost. As some of the songs there do sound a fair bit different then from the OG ost. Would def be a video id enjoy watching
Edit.; actually i forgot isotope. Thatd prolly be im my top 3 as well. Again largely thanks to the fnaf version of it with glitchtrap instead of red as his vocals fit the song better imo. But even the OG version i like the rythm a lot for.
