    How well would they work for musky fishing? Tossing big rubber baits 6-14 ounces?

    Do you think you can’t catch small bluefins in the 60# class or small yellowfin tuna’s. I’m assuming it should be fine on albies.

    Single or two speed?

    I have two. an SGN and a SG both on 7ft Terema rods. its a great trolling and bottom fisher but I think its too much for fluking. Seigler stands by their product too!!!

      @@czwest7845 i use my sgn for fluke. its not a back bay reel, it excels in 100 feet of water and big jigs. i use it when i need 6oz +

    Do you have to watch the spooling of the line with a rod like this or is it handled for you?

    • @lioutdoorsman9046
      @lioutdoorsman9046  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Kevin Woodward I’m having trouble understanding your question. are you referring to a “levelwind” which evenly spoils the line with out having to use your thumb? If so, these are not available with levelwind.

    • @kevinpwoodward
      @kevinpwoodward 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      LI Outdoorsman ok. But how do you keep this reel winding even? Use ur thumb???

    • @lioutdoorsman9046
      @lioutdoorsman9046  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes you have to use your thumb. It comes natural after a while

    • @bigmag13
      @bigmag13 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@kevinpwoodward yes, thumb it. After having the reels for a season I stopped trying to cast long. this reel has no cast controller or magneto. I use mine for bottom fishing big stuff and trolling for stripers and blues. its smooooooooooootthhh and powerful!
