This F154 engine in the 488 Pista clearly, as you can see, screams to 8k revs. The reason why it would rev any slower than an F136-F 458 Italia engine is because of the beefier flywheel on the Pista, after all, it does make 720 BHP. EDIT: Even then, the 488 Pista still revs quite rapidly, that is a GT Challenge derived engine.
@@deterrencedispensed7939 In an NA engine, air is pumped by the pistons. To pump more air, the pistons need to move faster. In a turbo engine, air is pumped by the turbocharger. So the revs are much higher but when boost kicks in it revs a lot faster than NA on turbo cars because the air being forced into the engine. Good example is a supercharger how they will push the revs up faster than before. But again reving faster just means that your car is faster. Bigger turbo faster revs.

But if you think of an example of lets say a Formula Drift car, they are usually turbocharged and have massive turbos to push like 700-800+ wheel, they need to rev quickly to preform precise clutch-kicks and to do so they have super light flywheels which makes the engine rev super fast when out of boost. Of course to counter being out of boost in the first place they have anti-lag systems. But my point here is that if you see an example of a turbocharged car with a light flywheel, you will see that it revs up without hesitation.

Also, this senna driver was very bad at the wheel. The senna's true 0-300 is 17.5 seconds. Now prove me wrong, fanboy.
