Have you ever visited Dublin? What was your favourite sight? Ours was definitely NOT the Wax museum (still waking up in sweats from that) 🤣

Mrs C and our daughter and son ,have visited Dublin over the years, friendly folk mainly, I only write this because similarly to here on Merseyside it can be a bit boisterous after dark...looking forward to returning one day....like yourselves, we much prefer the wild Atlantic coast...thoughts and prayers to County Donegal....keep safe and well....E...

Ha ha I prefer down south myself, we just go up to the Kildare outlet, Dublin zoo,or national stud, and home again, norm just around Christmas. There are a few museums that are free, and worth going too,had gone years ago. Off to watch.

What a great visit to Dublin! My partner lives in Dublin (we are engaged) I live in the US, but spent much of 2019 and all of 2020 there with him. We live not far from Bear Lemon and have yet to go in! Will be sending him there! We also love walking in Ticknock park. Looking forward to seeing the rest of your trip!

If you're ever back in Dublin and you really want to both be fully converted to Guinness then the storehouse is actually not the best place to have a pint. Take a trip out to Glasnevin Cemetery and do the tour which is steeped in Irish history and then drop into John Kavanagh's (The Gravediggers) just behind the cemetery. It is renowned as having, hands down, the best pint of Guinness in the world. I can attest to that having had more pints there than I can count. :)

Now after watching this, you have a great eye opening of Dublin, just told my family about those speakeasy bars. Will be saving this video, incase we go. Ha ha didn't even know we had a national wax museum up there. Well done another great video. Safe trip, and thank you.

I love Dublin, only been a few times and each time was on business. Diageo (they own Guinness) was one of my clients. Always enjoyed business meetings with them as they would treat me to lunch at the Stonehouse.
Definitely want to go back to visit as a tourist next time so I can have time to look around.

Yes I love Guinness ! My wife’s from Dublin, and in all the visits and holidays we’ve had since we met in 83, the only beer I’ve drank is Guinness, I tried to order Murphy’s once in Clifton, barman told me it was rubbish and wouldn’t serve it😂 Another great vlog, looking forward to the next instalment 👍

I was unaware of the green retreats in Dublin. Thankyou for letting us know for future visits. The wax museum was a bit naff, but at least you experienced it. The quality of the bakery food looked amazing. The main outcome was you explored, adored and enjoyed the journey. Yes those deer at the beginning were very cute and a nice touch to your intro. But can l ask is Guernsey worth visiting as it was mentioned.

Well I for one love Guinness Gemma I’m with Campbell on this one, perhaps you should try Gushiness & black, really, it’s Guinness topped with blackcurrant (Ribera) I think you’ll love it and I agree the Guinness Storehouse is a brilliant attraction. Keep up the great content, I’ve loved your Ireland trip particularly, shame you didn’t get further south but a good excuse to return. See you next week. Dave.

Ahh what a crackling closing montage guys! That jam session sure did sound awesome! I was nearly clapping to it myself. Almost reminded me of "Riverdance". As for Guinness, nope never tried. I suppose one has to have a taste for beer in order to get into it (?). Ohhh you mentioned Stephen and Jess from FTN!!! I watch them too! Aren't they beyond wonderful! (and their darling little angel girl Hunter!) I confess to not knowing what a "speakeasy" was. lol Oh yeah that wax museum would surely be interesting for me..being that I am prone to jumping from my own shadow lol!! Definitely major creeps happening in that place wow!!

We just got back a week ago from Ireland and had a great time. Funny thing about Guinness, my husband hates it here in Canada but someone told him it's completely different in Ireland...and it is! Someone mentioned in an early post maybe it doesn't travel well across the
    pond.

Yes to the Guiness! And nothing is better than a pint on its home territory. That taste thing Gemma... same applies to everything, the tongue has different regions on the buds and where you centre the item being sampled affects the appreciation of it; those who do tastings in and advanced way start the drink at the tip and let it roll back to get all the varied texture and flavour. Most ales are better for being landed centre tongue and held at back for swallow. Wines and spirits often do better on the front of the tongue and held there before swallow... not that you asked 🙃 but there is science to it! Slainte bheath! YAM xx
