I often watch stationary underwater live cams, but your footage is better than most. Greetings from Germany and have a great rest of the Christmas season!
Love this as always Brant! Santa Claus ( my wonderful wife) brought me a PENN Battle IV 6000 combo. I'm fired up and ready. Hope you and Mel are having a wonderful Christmas and awesome New Year!
Just came down to sw Florida and thanks to your help caught a 36-37 inch snook on a vudu shrimp while I was on a jet ski, one of the craziest fights of my life
Awesome and beautiful... The clarity of the water is simply astounding... The fish and other critters are always welcome... Mullet need to be caught with a net... So I have been told...I remember seeing a little old lady catching mullet with a cane pole using canned corn as bait... Her hook was tiny but it worked 🌹!!! PS .. Good job with the camera 👍!!!
Probably not the best time of year for the following suggestion…but how about a vid on “rules of the road/common courtesy”, tips/tricks or whatever when it comes to pier fishing? It often seems like man to man combat, and I am a fisherWOman! Thanks for all you do!!
brant do you remember the old defunct underwater crystal beach pier? I lived down the street from it in the 90s and would snorkel out there a ton. I miss that spot, not sure if its still there
At 2:36 looks like that mullet had a bite mark on it's back. Also maybe not possible but would like to see a cast net come down onto the fish underwater and see how it works.
I was down there between Christmas and New Years. I only caught some salt water catfish and croakers. A few people caught some flounder and a few blues. Also, a couple of redfish and black drum were caught.
I'm jealous, it looks like an aquarium... especially compared to my dirty MS water. I'd love to see an underwater view looking up at a cast net as it's being thrown. I think that would be a pretty cool visual to see.
I grew up and live in South Georgia and travel through Mississippi a lot. Don’t care too much for southern Mississippi but it’s a pretty fine place from around Wiggins on north up towards Tupelo. With the exception of Jackson that is.
@@tommythompson3588 I've lived here my whole life bud and i can promise you, its not special. Unless you're into casinos, theres really not much here. The people are mostly good, but thats all.
I find it odd how all those spadefish and others can just hang around such a barren spot! Okay, the sheepshead can nibble on the barnacles on the pilings, but what do the rest of them eat?
Where would you recommend a February fishing trip to the Pensacola area? I was thinking Fort Pickens for cheap stay...but not sure what or where to target for fish.
That's a tough time of year to fish. You can get some redfish and black drum around Fort Pickens that time of year and occasional sheepshead at the Pickens pier. The beach can be okay but it's very hit or miss.
We get the clearest water of the year in winter here in the Tampa Bay area. Fish can get spooked by your line and leader, so it's best to go with fluorocarbon line and leader of a lighter test for less visibility.
I had no idea those redfish would bunch up like that and stay so still. Reminds me of my snorkeling days at Navarre. I never recall seeing any reds tho.
When we were kids we would launch a Jon boat and go to the rubble pile 300 yds and east out from the end of the pier. There was fish there all the time.
Pensacola Beach fishing pier story: in 1973 I got out of the USAF and moved back to Pensacola. In those days the beach pretty much shut down after September. It was WAY less commercialized than it is now. The pier owner would close the bait/snack shop but leave the chainlink gate open. I had a 175cc Yamaha Enduro that i would load with fishing gear and ride right out to the end of the pier. Most of us that showed up during the winter months were shark fishermen. We targeted bonito for shark bait. If anyone remembers Elmo Horine, he was one of the sharkers that I fished with.
WATER THERE IS AS CLEAR AS IN SOUTH EAST FLORIDA -DELRAY DOWN TO THE KEYS -HEARD ABOUT THE BEACHES IN PENSACOLA CAN NOT WAIT TO GET THERE BUT YOU NEED A WESUIT FOR SURE--THANK YOU
I can watch this all day. Truly amazing how clear the water is and fish around
Absolutely gorgeous waters right now. And its still teaming with life down there!!!!! Thank you Brant for this beautiful underwater footage!!!!

@@Bassmastahflexwhy is this strange to you?
This louisiana speck head has a snook like that on my bucket list bro. Congrats! Vudu is expensive as sin , but it's a great lure. Durable to boot.

Gorgeous. Clearer than even Turks and Caicos.
Are those spadefish good eating? If they are, what do they bite…..live shrimp, cut bait or dead shrimp?
This video is such fun to watch thanks for sharing
Thank you for the awesome video !
Merry Christmas Everyone ❤️🙏🙏🥰😃

Thanks. Merry Christmas!

Is that crackling sound from the shrimp? Awesome video BTW!
Cool, now i dont have to watch the Yule Log anymore. 😂
Under water video is so cool
What are the pompano like this time of year?

Would you be willing to do a catch and cook on the mullet?
5:41 timestamp brilliant Red fish stacked very low. thanks BP!
What's the water temp this time of year?
I had no idea those redfish would bunch up like that and stay so still. Reminds me of my snorkeling days at Navarre. I never recall seeing any reds tho.
My thought exactly
When we were kids we would launch a Jon boat and go to the rubble pile 300 yds and east out from the end of the pier. There was fish there all the time.
Awesome video
What creates the crackling noise once underwater?
I think that is so cool to drop your camera in the water and check out the fish thank you bro
Merry Xmas
That’s all those drunk beach tourist peeing in the water in the summertime that makes it so cloudy.😂
that's amazing, thank you so much!

Hi Angler Up 🎣🎣🎣
I'll be there in 10 days. Do you know if they have a golf cart that can take disabled people out on the pier to fish?
They only have the maintenance cart for employees. They might give ya a ride if ya need it but they have chairs someone can push on i think.
How do you possibly catch those Spadefish?
Light line and small pieces of shrimp.
@AnglerUpTv Thanks.
Super cool video, thanks!!
appreciate it.
I think we need another spadefish catch and cook.
At about the 5:50 mark it seems one of the Redfish has a dark hook in the mouth
Love those schools of whitebait as they are an amazing Snook finder!
interesting methode ;)
Very Kool video
It’s like your own aquarium
Thanks 👍
Nice
Lordy sir! Don’t burn yourself out with making videos. We’re fishermen/women, we have patience 😂❤
In July, you should do a “red, white n blue” ccc…
To bad mullet taste like crap. Cause they are fun to net.
Reckon any of that stuff at Navarre would bite? They seem to just be resting.
Beautiful
Spade fish
COOL
We have got a key west 239fs, whenever you want to go fish let me know when and where, we would like to get on some sheep
How about a Sheepshead clean and cook?
Thanks
God’s Glory is witnessed in all of His creation!
🚨🎣Much love❤️ and hugs 🤗 in Jesus name ✝️☝️💯👀🔜👍
Bro cmon… lol im from washington and i know those are spadefish. Not sheepshead.
What are you referring to? There were obviously spadefish and sheepshead in this video.
Whos desperate to eat mullett. Rather eat a McDonald's big mac and fries. Lol
