A Day in The Life - ER Nurse! | 12 hour shift

My name is Autumn, welcome to my life as a new registered nurse in the emergency room! 🥼🚑🤍come to work with me while I show you bits and pieces of what a day in my life is like working in the ER. Keep in mind this video was filmed pretty early on in my (ER) career, so alot of education was still taking place as I was still on orientation here and had a bit more time to record.

Meal prep rice/ bean and meat in Tupperware and mini Kroger salads. A fruit/ or small snack. Coffee, Celsius, Gatorade, banana breakfast shake, water bottle. 12 hr shift.

Happy you’re loving the ER! I first found your videos when you were in the OR and I was in my last semester of school, OR is what I want and just graduated in December and take the NCLEX in a couple weeks. I’m so lucky to have found an OR job willing to teach me that is not a part of the nurse residency (they have one but OR is not included in it and they hired me on anyways, may be nice to not be in a “cohort” of people and learn by myself, plus one my nursing school besties is in the residency in the ICU, always complained we never saw each other because we lived so far apart (from her house to mine is almost 2 hours and I’m commuting an hour to work and she’s commuting 40) so I never thought we’d end up working in the same place.

Good video, yes your Christmas pants are cute. Love this video because I love that you had a great/confident day. Being a nurse is really stressful but can be really fun at times 🥰
