My answer to pitbull tire wedge? A 2x4 and a brick lol you set the brick (folcrum) down and slip the 2x4 under the tire with enough 2x hanging out to use as a foot pedal to raise lower/hold wheel in place. I HAVE to do this personally lol
You should invest in a set of ball end allen wrenches. The set that I use is made by Bonhus but I'm there are others. Not great for overly tight button head cap screws used on bike plastic, but great for everything else. Good video, thanks.
Yes. Get the alignment tool. In theory, the index marks should perfectly align the wheel but that's not guaranteed. I have one and they are cheap and quick to use. I was surprised the first time I used it although I was just using the stock axle mount.
Thank you! I actually can’t wait to shred these stock Bridgestones RS11’s. I don’t like them at all. I love my Q3+s from Dunlop. Haven’t tried the supercorsas’ but they are really track tires I think.
Are the 2 holding small plates for the swingarm able to scratch og damage the paint on the back of the swingarm? (the two that go on the back side to tighten the adjusters to the swingarm)
I mean technically speaking sure, but once its tight, it does not move at all. So I don't see how it could damage the swingarm, unless they were loose.
Slip on, no tune needed. If you remove the Cat underneath the bike and get a mid pipe/y pipe or a full system exhaust then yes do a ECU Flash/Dyno tune.
@@GodCannoli13 with a more open exhaust (the slip on) it'll lower back pressure, flow more and will cause it to run slightly leaner. It should be tuned.
OK, thanks! Yeah I re-used the washer but was sketched out by the 100ft pounds and went with the factory specs. I guess I will lossen it to 100 like lightech says.
Chain looks way to tight there , remember when you tighten everything up sit on bike it tightens again , if it’s tight the suspension won’t be able to travel it’s full Length properly
I agree was looking for this comment. Hopefully he noticed. Not only suspension issues but it'll destroy the chain, output shaft, sprockets and bearings.

Just a heads up, if you move your rear stand spools to the front holes on your rear swingarm, you're Pitbull tire wedge will work better.

Thank you! Does one really need an additional chain alignment tool - don‘t the scales suffice to ensure proper alignment?

@@DavidM2002 Thanks for your advice - will do!
I have noticed on all motorbikes I have worked on the axl bolt is dry and worn. I always put grease on it and I feel like it helps but idk.
Is the silver inner piece aluminum? If it is I may get them and annodize it black
Yes they are!
Do axle sliders fit on top of the Lightech Chain Adjuster? Looking to get Lightech, Gilles, or Woodcraft axle sliders.
wow black is the way to go dude i love it , do you prefer the bridgestones over supercorsa or they just stock tires ?

@@MotoViceOfficial supercorsas are my bestfriend for years street or track it glues up anywhere easily 😍 ride safe bro 😇
@@fb.gg.ElDelincuente They are great tires. Track days in CA are few and far between. Need something to last a bit longer with my canyon rides.
Torque spec axle nut ?????

Great job. Watch your video and learn a lot
Thanks for watching!
Do R1 chain adjusters fit the FZ/MT-10?
Yes
Where the purchase of like that chain adjuster sir?
In the description!
Did you have to do a tune for the slip on? If not does it run leaner?

Do you put the axle nut washer on or just the axle nut?
Also did you use the oem torque spec for the axle nut?
Yes to the axle nut washer!
For the torque spec, I spoke with a lot of skilled mechanics at the track and the rear end doesn't need anything over 100ft lbs

FYI- R1 chain adjusters will not fit an MT-10 as the R1 rear arm is 10mm longer so be careful when buying chain adjusters.
You're welcome
