      @@MsBlank I really am. And now they're discussing a port or PICC line again. Which I was told we wouldn't do while pregnant due to risk of infection. I don't usually comment about stuff like this but I have lupus and psoriatic arthritis and I literally delivered my baby on Thursday. Congratulations momma! ❤️ And it absolutely is. I made it through with Liam. But this pregnancy is hitting a lot harder than I expected. 😔

    • @annalastname4763
      @annalastname4763 3 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Every pregnancy is different, my 2yo son was a much easier tho still ridiculously difficult pregnancy, this one however was exhausting to a point that was almost intolerable and I refuse to be the needy disabled person who gets a ton of help. So it was a very humbling experience bcuz getting help was so necessary. Best advice I can give from the finish line is to Just remember to use what little energy you have on what really matters, don't waste it cleaning the bathroom or something that someone else can do for u, no matter how much u hate that idea, and give it to urself, ur hubby and kiddo. Ppl like us try so hard not to b a burden to our loved ones, but self care will only get u so far

    • @ServiceDogPaws
      @ServiceDogPaws  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@annalastname4763 That's really good advice and it definitely speaks true. I didn't think that this pregnancy could be any rougher than Liam's. I was so wrong. I'm only 23 weeks in. And it's already so much harder.
      I think my husband has realized it after yesterday too, about how much I need to slow down. I definitely did. And from how he was talking this morning while getting ready for work, it sounded like he's realized it too. He's always been so good about telling me to rest, reminding me to eat and hydrate etc. But I think it's starting to set in for both of us how difficult the rest of this pregnancy could really be.
      I definitely need to work on my self care. No matter how much I may feel lazy or whatever, I have to keep me and baby as #1 priority and not necessarily the dirty kitchen.
      Thank you. ❤️

    My heartrate has been more and more all over the place. I get to above 100 even when i have been laying flat in bed for a long, time, even for hours. Its so frustrating, i get restless wake up from the high heartrate, can't sleep because of it etc.
    Even go up to 120 laying down sometimes. And standing or just from walking from bed to couch(less then 10 meter) i go up to 140. My GP couldn't even get my bloodpressure last time i was there, with my heartrate being somewhere in the 140. She send me to get a ecg which was fine and now got a reveral to cardiologist, and they take it really serious because next week i already have 2 test( that like 24 hour heartrate test) heart echo. Week later ecg and the appointment with him. When i get that heartrate test its going to be hot, i hate hot but now it might show it even better how crazy my body is😅

    Are you more prone to fainting when dehydrated or less hydrated? And you inject yourself with fluids at home? Do you have constant electrolytes at hand? Just curious about your care program. Any potassium regimen? I’m guessing that going for monthly Myers cocktails or iv infusions are pricier than your own routine.I get clueless on how to balance electrolytes as a chronically dehydrated person without any of your more intense problems. Can you run or do strenuous exercise?

    I’m really fascinated by service dogs since running across your channel. If an incident like this does occur is your dog trained to seek out additional assistance if need be? Maybe I haven’t ran across this scenario before on your channel but you point out preventive measures and ptsd response, but I guess curiosity if you need medical attention can the service dog alert bystanders?

  • @adamguymon7096
    @adamguymon7096 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Sew them! The last thing that they should ever be doing is asking you the questions that they asked you? The fact that one of the paramedics had a family member who had a "fake" certification and that they knew they used it to take their pet into public just says a lot and the fact that a medical professional should know that you can't ask for papers. All of that and more can stress you out at the same time that can make a service animal think that they are not needed and that can hurt you when you need your service animal? At that point, "apologies" are not valid. Your service animal is part of your life and an extension of your body. You are already worried and scared and in the back o an ambulance in pain etc and now you have to try to explain that you need a "Mobility Aid" which is part of your life and that is there for you. These people went way over the line and not in a good way.

    So I found a leash to make it alot easier to keep the dogs with you without stress it has a swivel on it so they won't get tangled with a handle that won't hurt your hand if they pull and it has a stretchy line so if the dogs run and you need them to stop it will put tension so it's not a jolt to there neck it also comes with 2 leashes so you dont have to hold 2 separate leshes and a anti chewing feature were they won't rip the leash be biting it then again I dont have a service dog so I dont know if you need a leash that they gave to you but I hope this helps you stay safe

    My goodness. Im so scared for you guys and know for a fact how long it takes in the Er. Or being checked out. Get this being a kidney patient on dialysis we do dialysis every other day. For four hours a day, no breaks no vacation no skipping at all. The first time doing it. I did dialysis for five years. When that kidney quit. I spent seven and a half years on dialysis, same four hours a day every other day. I was only given eight years to live and that year, I knew I was near death. You can feel it. The needles they typicaly use for all of us and me for sure all tweleve years total they used 12 guage needles as thick and big as lamp cord. When they typicaly blow a vein. It is so painful its like breaking a bone in youre body. I had one so badly put in. And I should say we have special sugeries to make a vein near the surface of youre skin the surgeons take you're MAJOR artery and direct it up to a vein to create a MAJOR artery skin level. MAJOR ARTERIES. So when that blows its like youre arm is on fire or broken bones and extreemly painful. Bigger people use 10 guage needles. Bigger than lamp cord. And when it puntures through one side and out the other like the lady did to me with a 12 guage needle. I can't tell you how painful that is.When They do this to us we call it Painting the room because Blood can shoot all over the room 15 feet in all directions because its a major artery. If you cut that arm. You die in 3 to 4 minutes. I pray for you guys. If her blood pressure is to high or too low she can get what I have, kidney Failure and mine was caused by strep throat right out of highschool and didnt know it. Man love you guys and will pray always for you all.
