Just dropping a line and saying this video is still genius. Watched it when it debuted and I just love the creativity. Would love to see a remaster or a potential sequel.
This is easily one of the 5 best 2D fighting game video ever. You did an amazing job, and this deserves much more views... At least I watch it minimum once per month , it refills my happiness jauge.
Both combo choreography and video visual/audio chreography were both superb. I never thought a video of this sort would be aesthetically pleasing to both the eyes and the ears. Oh the visuals fit the music so well. This might be better than any combo video I have seen in my life.
This video really blew me away! So much creativity on display! Whoever decided "Star Guitar" was going to be played in this video was a genius, it's one of my favorite tracks! Great soundtrack!
Stumbling across this video after 11 long years. I don’t know why but after brushing my teeth I had a flashback of the music in this video and hummed it the whole time.
Crazy that this vid is almost 5 years old =O Watching this for the first time was great and it gets better every time I see it. Alot has happened since lol
Excellent work as usual. Can't claim I recognise every game on display, but it's still mighty impressive! Awesome soundtrack and wonderful editing... can't wait to see what you come up with next year, Maj! Keep up the fantastic work!
Awesome. When I first got Street Fighter Alpha for PS1, my friend and I would always have "volleyball" matches with Rose v Rose. But you took it to a whole new level. Great vid.
I saw a DBFZ video that had the end song in it and I couldn’t for the life of me remember where I saw it in. I randomly remembered the sound cues from this video during parts of that song that reminded me of this titles name. Fighting games are crazy
Desk putting out content still made me remember these videos! I remember watching them live during EVO and then at night..."You are all free now!" *Breaks wall* 🥲
This video is INCREDIBLE! My friends and I watched ths during the EVO stream and were all blown away. I especially like the nod to Dungeons and Dragons! Congrats to all involved for getting it shown at EVO and big ups for next year's colab - cant wait to see what crazy s**t goes down! :P L
@AngrySilencer Thank you sir. Cyclops and Sentinel are both suki-canceling in tandem throughout that clip. That means superjump-canceling their normal attacks and then block-canceling the startup of the jump to remain on the ground. Btw i've added a link to the transcript that explains all of the advanced stuff in the entire video. You can find it in the description box above.
There'll be explanations posted on Sonic Hurricane soonish, after everyone gets back from Evo. But i just want to say that i contributed less than 10% of the clips in this video. It was a big collaborative effort so please don't credit me for the whole thing. I'm just happy it got made, and finished on time for Evo2k10.
The hype is too much! **Throws a Hadouken into wall, making the wall explode* [Edit 2021: The level of absolute insanity in the skill and skill it takes it set all of this up must've been crazy. Love seeing all these games being pushed to their limits with the fireball wars. Another classic FG video from this channel.]
bullet hell dodonpachi music is more than fitting for this vid. great choice. i look forward to next years video hopefully being equally badass. and i say equally because nothing is better than stomping out a power geyser.
... that video had so much awesome in it I think my head just about fucking sploded'. Maj - you sir are a genius. Probably my favorite exhib. video you've ever made. *credit to all those involved*
@YoungNastyParsee It really does sound like that. That's what people in arcades thought when X-men COTA came out, but he's saying "Gene Splice"... which truthfully makes just about as much sense.
@ShinyMawile Not a lot you cant do with the projectiles in those games, other than cancel em out with Hakumen's sword. Same with there being no KOF 12 and Touhou project, which seems like it'd be there if you saw it, but dashing negates them anywaya
@DaRkXyStEr Touhou is in there. And a lot of the clips were just cancels with other fireballs. Just a few clips would have made me happy. They somehow fit tekken ball in there...
@Xanoz Even before I watched 2:54 over again to find out what it was, I knew that you were referring to the original Street Fighter. Yep...spot on comment.
Can someone please list down the games following the chronological order for this video? I could only recognise some, but not all of them. By the way, mad props to the dudes who did this. Especially the parries in Third Strike and SVC Vs. Capcom 2.
I'm wondering if there's an HD source for this video? sh/f sytle exhibition v.one has an HD option, but this one doesn't. I would love to see an HD version of this video! It's so nice.....especially the song at the end. Great job to everyone who worked on the video!
@xenophobian it came down to whatever games people could think of for setups, and I guess we didn't really have enough GG players. that series definitely has some interesting possibilities though.
@Xanoz It's actually not THAT hard. To do specials in SF1 consistently, you have to hold the button down first, do the motion, then release the button (Example: Hadouken = Hold P, QCF, release P). Not many people know that
@vedicardi It's Melty Blood, probably Act Cadenza (for PC and PS2) or Actress Again (for PS2) version. There is only one game I haven't played. What's that game with the little girl throwing knives/kunais?
Just dropping a line and saying this video is still genius. Watched it when it debuted and I just love the creativity. Would love to see a remaster or a potential sequel.
I love how when the two Roses reflect against each other, the fireball gets so fast that it finally flies off the screen in a split second at the end.
This is easily one of the 5 best 2D fighting game video ever. You did an amazing job, and this deserves much more views... At least I watch it minimum once per month , it refills my happiness jauge.
Amen to this, brother.
Both combo choreography and video visual/audio chreography were both superb. I never thought a video of this sort would be aesthetically pleasing to both the eyes and the ears.

12 years had passed and this video still insane
This video really blew me away! So much creativity on display!
Whoever decided "Star Guitar" was going to be played in this video was a genius, it's one of my favorite tracks! Great soundtrack!
I don’t know why this came up on my feed after watching it for the first time 11 years ago. I won’t wait another 11 years to watch it again though.
Look at all of the passion in this video.
Stumbling across this video after 11 long years. I don’t know why but after brushing my teeth I had a flashback of the music in this video and hummed it the whole time.
Crazy remix of Star Guitar.
Loved both of Maj and gang's videos this year.
Crazy that this vid is almost 5 years old =O
Watching this for the first time was great and it gets better every time I see it. Alot has happened since lol
AMAZING editing, graphics, and sound on this you can tell you really put some grade-A work into this man
Excellent work as usual. Can't claim I recognise every game on display, but it's still mighty impressive!
Awesome soundtrack and wonderful editing... can't wait to see what you come up with next year, Maj! Keep up the fantastic work!
Oh this is sweet. I only just found out this was finished. Feels like it was in the works for along time. So many games. SF1 made me lol.
Awesome. When I first got Street Fighter Alpha for PS1, my friend and I would always have "volleyball" matches with Rose v Rose. But you took it to a whole new level. Great vid.

yay for waku waku 7
Desk putting out content still made me remember these videos! I remember watching them live during EVO and then at night..."You are all free now!" *Breaks wall* 🥲
Dude, I love how almost every fighting game in the world is in here, INCLUDING WAKU WAKU 7
Never gets old.
L
loved how there were so many fighting games included like samurai showdown and tekken and of course street fighter. great vid
I miss this stuff so much! Maj, I hope you're doing well!
@AngrySilencer Thank you sir. Cyclops and Sentinel are both suki-canceling in tandem throughout that clip. That means superjump-canceling their normal attacks and then block-canceling the startup of the jump to remain on the ground.

Thank goodness there's a slow down feature on youtube.
4:09 - i love this song transition
I. Love. This. Video. Thank you very much for uploading it and putting the good music to it!
Therapist: Laughing Ryu doesn’t exist, he cannot hurt you.
Laughing Ryu: Ha ha ha ha ha hadoken!
Danmaku?
In my fighting games?
Combining two of my favorite genres together?
Hell yes!

Glad you uploaded this fast, my mind was blown on the stream haha.
Absolutely amazing, it blew me away when I watched on the stream.
Love the obligatory Street Fighter 1 cameo. XD
A true testament to the theory that Blitztank makes any video better.
The hype is too much!
**Throws a Hadouken into wall, making the wall explode*

Holy shit, TMNT Fighter at 3:53. I thought I was the only one who had played that game.
This whole video is godlike. Especially with the music.
Mad props for fitting Tekken Ball into there :D
I literally have to watch this at half speed to even keep up to what's happening
man this is just awesome thanks for making this video it was worth it
I feel so bad for who ever did the editing on this. Again, amazing video man.
3:20 is absolutely AMAZING!
bullet hell dodonpachi music is more than fitting for this vid. great choice. i look forward to next years video hopefully being equally badass. and i say equally because nothing is better than stomping out a power geyser.
Tekken Ball! How I've missed you!!
Supah creative Maj :3

Gotta love that Paul vs Law part XD
You've got to be kidding me...Sweet Kami, I've played nearly ALL these games. Oh dear...I feel so OOOOOOOOLLLD.
I would give part of my salary so that Maj can focus only on making these videos. You are the combomaster dude!
This video contains TMNT Tournament Fighters and Yu Yu Hakusho Makyo Toitsusen. It is automatically the best video.
Congrats on the award! You deserve it!
i love sonic hurricane for so many reasons number one is awesomeness
the guy that made this is awesome and must've took a lot of work to do all those dodging and parrying
the Hsien Ko / Lei Lei mirror scene was mind boggling
100% rawness chemical brothers track and the sequences were great
There are never enough fireballs. Awesome vid.
Amazing....nostalgia overload.
@kyosuke2204 The song is listed in the credits and is called Sally.
@YoungNastyParsee It really does sound like that. That's what people in arcades thought when X-men COTA came out, but he's saying "Gene Splice"... which truthfully makes just about as much sense.

You did such a good with this!!! You even got shinichi osawa in this, btw what's the song for the credits?
one word: MADNESS!!!
Totally Amazing, the Hisenko part its my favorite!
3:52 is definitely TMNT Tournament Fighters. You can see that it's Donatello with the projectile.
I love the SF1 Hadoken. So classic.

Now THIS IS SPACE CONTROL!
Great vid as always.
Absolutely amazing
Maj you are a GOD! you deserve that golden TE

@Xanoz Even before I watched 2:54 over again to find out what it was, I knew that you were referring to the original Street Fighter. Yep...spot on comment.
Goddamn do I love the Dai-Fukkatsu BL soundtrack.

Can someone please list down the games following the chronological order for this video? I could only recognise some, but not all of them.
By the way, mad props to the dudes who did this. Especially the parries in Third Strike and SVC Vs. Capcom 2.
Double Shinkuu Hadouken with Ryu in mid air and Ken standing? How does this work?
I just realized that the 2ei Lei's are playing with an Akuma statue xD
I'm wondering if there's an HD source for this video? sh/f sytle exhibition v.one has an HD option, but this one doesn't. I would love to see an HD version of this video! It's so nice.....especially the song at the end. Great job to everyone who worked on the video!
Great vid Maj! Sorry I wasn't able to contribute anything to it when you asked though ^_^;
@xenophobian
it came down to whatever games people could think of for setups, and I guess we didn't really have enough GG players. that series definitely has some interesting possibilities though.
This is the greatest thing ever.
3:50 represent!
The team or duo have godly timing for combos
@Xanoz

Two Hsien-Kos mating gives me thousand Hsien-Keks.
Still amazing.
@SFCatgirlFanatic that section is from the first Capcom Vs SNK game.
THIS GUY ITS SICK, CRAZY, MADNESS, I MEAN AWESOME!!!!!!!
Automatic thumbs-up for using the Jiggly One. :D
Why does this only go up to 480p?
