I played in many rock bands in the day, and if there was ONE person I still wish I could sing like it is Mr. Paul Rogers. And that band always did exactly what they needed to do, Love this stuff. (my only suggestion: Little Sister)
@@boblozaintherealworld3577I’ve been singing in local rock bands for 53 years and still do a few of his songs. Non singers will never realize how hard it is to sing his stuff. He sings so much higher than it sounds. A GREAT vocalist.
@@markkenific6587 Right there with ya', brotha'. I'm not worthy to even try. His range is stealth-like, yet he knows how and when to use it. The songs "Wildfire" and 'Sweet L'il Sister' perfect examples. Keep singing it out loud!
Yes Ma’m, Bad Company had (& still has!) some serious sustaining power!!! This song, and Bad Company’s first “self-titled” album, came out in 1974… had barely graduated high school a year earlier, but had this on 8-track tape blasting in my car routinely! 🔥😂
There is no other voice in the world with the soul that Paul Rodgers has. He will always be "The Voice" . Saw him on an interview not long ago, and he still HAS IT, even after recovering from a stroke. His voice is Amazing!
I managed radio stations for a few decades, and had the opportunity to meet a lot of musicians through the years. Paul Rodgers was one of the nicest people I had the honor to meet. Jay and Amber, you are awesome. Check out "Silver, Blue and Gold". So very good.
When's last time you heard any current rock music like this? When do you think so many old groups are still touring? Rock n Roll is dead for now...long live the 70's 80's.
Bad Company has a very deep catalog!!! Paul Rodgers voice is one you love to hear and never forget!!! A great song with just his vocals and guitar is Seagull!!!
It's so badass when Paul Rodgers comes belting in an octave higher after the solo. IMO no other rock singer can match that tone, that soulfulness, and just that perfect amount of grit all at once. Been waiting for someone to finally react to this song.
One of the greatest underrated drummers. At first you're wondering where it's going and then you just fall right into the feel. ...Yea, play it again, I'm ready.
Paul Rodgers is definitely in the top 5 rock vocalists of all time. I would also recommend you check out his work with The Firm that features Jimmy Page on guitar. Radioactive snd Satisfaction Guaranteed come to mind.
Gotta listen to whole record. Classic debut. First album released on Zeppelin’s Swansong label. Can you believe not in Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Paul Rodgers is one of the best voices of all time.
@@ibrstellar1080 Yeah I had a Deep purple concert shirt that I got specifically for that concert. I would wear that thing all the time. Then one day it disappeared. I think my fiance threw it away cause she always hated it. I should have known right then that it was a doomed relationship.
One of my favorite bands. Listened to their albums as they came out when I was in jr. high and high school. Still listen to them. The driving beat from Simon Kirke in this one does make you feel like you are Movin' On. Paul Rodgers' voice is amazing in Free, Bad Company, The Firm and solo. Always great musicians with him. Try Silver, Blue & Gold next. Also check out Good Lovin' Gone Bad and Burnin' Sky.
Here we go! Rock and Roll indeed. Catch yer breath now, lol. Bad! Thank you. Try The Firm, a band with Paul Rodgers and Jimmy Page and bass and drums.. doing "Satisfaction Guaranteed", the swampy video. Thanks again.
Bad Company is one of my favorite male rock bands of that era, I was fortunate enough to see Bad Company on their last tour when I was 25 yrs old on June 4th 1979 Inglewood California at the Los Angeles Forum they are absolutely awesome!!!!!!
Not sure if you guys are aware, but the band that Bad Co came out of, was Paul Rogers and Simon Kirk's 1st band Free. Everyone thought that band would have taken off, but the guitarist Paul Kassoff had a really bad drug habit that ultimately broke the band and took his life. They had some great songs like "Wishing well", "Fire and water", "The Stealer", "Mr. Big", and their only top 10 hit "All right now".
Love Bad Can. Paul Rogers also in the band call Free which did the song All Right Now…one of the most amazing ver played song of all time🙄. I loved it in my teens, I don’t hate it. It certainly did well for him. One of the most recognizable voices in classic rock
They opened for Foghat on their 1st tour in NY central Park and were great. Oncore they were joined by Swan Song fellow named Jimmy Page! Amazing show, blew Foghat away. Also scored 12 row orchestra at MSG right in front of favorite Mick Ralphs. A lifetime fan here... Rodgers 1 of the greatest vocalists in rock history.
Hi Guys! I'd heartily recommend 'Sing Sing Sing (With a Swing)' by Benny Goodman Live at Carnegie Hall 1938. Listen to the 13:07 length version. Gene Krupa's drums will blow you away and the other soloists are killer! The piano solo was molasses on top of the hot hot hot!!!
Paul Rogers, arguably the greatest rock n roll voice of all time. You should listen to everything he's done. From Free to Bad Company to The Firm, even his solo stuff. You will not be disappointed.
I love old Bad Company with Paul Rodgers, and I also love their 80s sound with Brian Howe, well worth checking out! Songs like If You Needed Somebody, No Smoke Without a Fire, Holy Water, One Night, Stranger Stranger, Walk Through Fire, and How About That. All bangers!
I remember when this album was available at a local record store. I didn't buy it 'cause I couldn't afford it as a young teenager. My friend got it and we listenend to it 'till we wore it out. What a great time for music in the mid-seventies for young people. I'm old now (young at heart) but I sure appreciate that old music that seems timeless.
Bad Company’s 10 from 6, their compilation album from 1985, was essential listening in my high school days. You’ve done most of the songs off of that, so thank you!
A band I was in played,Good luvin gone bad after a few drinks you throw some Bad Co at the party goers it doesn’t have to be perfect they still get reved up.
I was born in the 60s and I remember being with my girlfriend listening to these songs. Thank you for the memories and God bless you both lots of love. ❤❤😊
I had this song on 45 back in the day. (Easy On My Soul was the b-side.) Boz Burrell really laid down a good bass line on Movin' On. You guys really need to check pout the song Good Lovin' Gone Bad. THAT'S a Bad Company tune that packs a punch. Kick a$$ from front to back.
Bad Company- the original Bad Co. album (with this on it) was a serious piece of my teen rock and roll life. Paul Rogers has the great voice. Saw them in concert back in those days (70s). Great 70s rock and roll. Have you done Ready For Love?
Bad Co's first album was kind of like the Cars' first album, it seemed like someone's greatest hits album from a band we never heard of, weird. I'm also struck now how Paul Rodger's voice is down in the mix on this song, "The Voice", one of the greatest rock singers ever and he's down in the mix w/ everyone else. Maybe that first album was just quick, rough and ready, and not fussed over too much wrt mixing.
The vocalist, Paul Rodgers, later went on to not only forming The Firm w/ Jimmy Page, but he also sang with Queen after Freddy passed as Queen + Paul Rodgers (even Rodgers could not replace Freddy)
Great song, great band! Huge Bad Co fan here! This is definitely one of my favorite tunes by them. Next, check out Seagull, it’s very mellow and soothing, a just sit back and smoke a doob kind of tune, released in 74. ✌️
A couple of other great Bad Company songs are "Burnin' Sky" & "Running With The Pack". I saw Paul Rodgers back in 2016. Still had that great gritty voice! Also react to him singing in the band The Firm's hit "Radioactive" Jimmy Page played guitar in that band. Thanks. 😎
Bad Co never disappoints for sure, they were still great when they reformed earlier in this century, for a truly magnificent song and ending jam, do them live at Hard Rock Live earlier in the in the 2,000s, do Ready For Love, they ooze the power and glory of Classic Rock in this awesome performance, it will give you guys chills to watch it. Rock On and Enjoy! 🎵🎸🎤🎹🎶
Yeah !!! Bad Co. this song is great fun to play on the drums Simon Kirk became an Instant drum influence on me when I heard this song as a goofy teenager Thanks for the memories 🤘😁
You should check out the Brian Howe era of Bad Company. Amazing songs “No Smoke Without a Fire” One Night” Holy Water” Stranger than Fiction” “How About That” RIP Brian
Did you know that Paul rogers was Freddie Mercury's favorite singer!! If not you do now. Check out the video from the vh1 specials. 2 drummers (2 from the foo fighters) and Paul singing!! So worth it
I have a great movie suggestion for you! Scotland, PA. A modern day, “Macbeth” set in the 1970s with the backdrop of a fast food restaurant, and the entire soundtrack is Bad Company. Great black comedy - Oh, and you get Christopher Walken too, which is never a bad thing! 😜
Paul Rogers... PURE ROCK-N-ROLL VOICE 🤘

There's no mistaking the voice of Paul Rodgers !!!!!
Jay & Amber, you'll love their "Silver Blue & Gold" and "Bad Company" !!!
Silver Blue and gold and Seagull
I highly recommend Silver, blue and gold.
Silver blue and gold is my favorite.
Two of their best!
I think silver blue & gold is my favorite
Paul Roger's voice is sooo awesome. Soulful yet rocking. One of the best voices in rock for sure. Bad Co. takes me back to high school in early 80s.
I was going to say the same thing best in the industry, nobody compares to Mr. Paul Rogers!
Yes Ma’m, Bad Company had (& still has!) some serious sustaining power!!!

Paul Rodgers is one of the best lead singers in the business!
Still to this day!
So many great singers from that era like Coverdale, Dio, Tyler, Bon Scott, to name a few and they don't make them anymore.
In the entire history of the business.👈 Right on Jenny! 🤘🍻
Paul Rodgers, “The Voice!!” Great great band with an amazing catalog

Song Bad Company, Band Bad Company, from the album Bad Company!
I haven’t seen it here… But I keep begging for it!😂
Song Iron Maiden, Band Iron Maiden, album Iron Maiden

A true Bad Company classic. Love this band

Bad Company has a very deep catalog!!! Paul Rodgers voice is one you love to hear and never forget!!! A great song with just his vocals and guitar is Seagull!!!
Ya'll just opened a catalog of great rock and roll music. Dig in deeper man!❤❤❤❤❤👍👍🤘🤘
Mick Ralph's criminally under rated.
First, Mott the Hoople and then Bad
Company. Two great bands!
I love Bad Company
They are a rockin' band. So glad I grew up with these great bands. Saw many of them. 😊
It's so badass when Paul Rodgers comes belting in an octave higher after the solo. IMO no other rock singer can match that tone, that soulfulness, and just that perfect amount of grit all at once. Been waiting for someone to finally react to this song.
“Good Loving Gone Bad”
Paul Rodgers is on the Mt Rushmore of lead singers.
Now we talking!! YES! Some good stuff!!
Paul Rogers! Yah!
Where us 70s Brats over spoiled OR WHAT ?
I've been a guitarist for 50 years and if I could play with any drummer in the world it'd be Simon Kirke, his playing on this is perfection.
Thank you! My husband is a drummer and Simon is one of his top three idols!
Paul Rodgers was and will always be “The Voice”.
One of the greatest underrated drummers. At first you're wondering where it's going and then you just fall right into the feel. ...Yea, play it again, I'm ready.

Yessss! The Firm!
Awesome band live!! Saw them in ‘77! Fantastic!🤘🔥
"runnin' with the pack" is a must listen.
