I see some controversy about Kaiser's style which I do understand, but no one talks about how OP Sagaa is when he crouches and just uses his wheels to move. No other robot gets to move around so swiftly while being in a near-invincible position. Thank goodness his controller is smart to only use it when it matters the most.

The reason why Saaga's knockouts didn't count was because King Kaiser was in the middle of his move. It just so happens that his move is to throw himself, which kind of creates a gap in the rules, since every time Saaga is going to knovk him down he can just throw himself and negate it.

Saaga should have won that fight handilly. There were many swipes and grabs where he threw KK down but did not get any points, whereelse KK scored points for every dropkick he landed??? Which was 3,4 out of 20?? Also there were many attempts from KK that failed and he fell down. That served no purpose other than refusing to engage and wasting time. The rules should be modified where if a robot attempted a takedown and failed and falling down itself 3 times, then a point should be awarded to it's opponent. Most Importantly there was once, where Saaga countered KK's swanton bomb and caught KK's legs in mid air, grabbed them in mid-air and supplexed KK on it's head. Saaga should have been awarded 3 points for that (a counter of an opponents offense). Thats how Randy Orton sometimes counters his opponents finishing moves resulting in a more devastating RKO for himself. Overall, stupid refereeing in this match!
There should be a penalty for failed attacks that result in attacker being downed. Then there would be this cheap and shameless style of fighting employed by King Kaiser.
This seems to be a rule made to accomodate the current tech and skill level. If they penalized mis-execution too much now, the fights would become too calculating and boring. As tech improve, this rule will change, I think.

This was completely unfair for Saaga. How can it win when its opponent can't even walk in a straight line and stay up. King Kaiser was on the ground for most of the fight on accord of itself.

Kaiser's attack is incredibly hard to do since it needs to be accurate or fail. No in-between. That's not good especially when Saaga is very mobile and balance. Still very interesting.

Takedown normally means 2 points. A grapple to the mat, such as the suplexes Saaga does, is 1 point.
4 clean knockdown, 2 knockdown, 1 knockdown if you fall too. Sometimes this varies tho
