Robot Pro-wrestling Dekinnoka! is the robot entertainment show by humanoid robots.

This is the first ever Kanto title unification bout between the mixed martial arts and pro-wrestling champions of Robot Pro-Wrestling Dekinnoka!, fighting for each other's belts.
This bout was held at Robot Pro-wrestling Dekinnoka!46 in Soka city, Japan, on November 3, 2022.

Special rules
1. Each round lasts three minutes.
2. It is a free knockdown system.
3. The winner will be determined by the following methods.
・10-count knockdown
・3-count fall
・Referee stop
・Infringement of rules
・Decision by referee (if no winner in full round)
4. Rope breaks are allowed.
5. Foul play is allowed up to a five-count.

I don't really like the over-reliance on wheels very much, but I can stand it. I think Saaga really nails the balance between cool moves using his wheels while still mostly walking.
The worst part, though, is when Metallic Fighter just bumps into Saaga and downs him due to momentum. I don't think that should count if it's done using wheels.
Hard agree. Wheels shouldn’t be a main focus.
The fighters should be differentiated by Grappling types and Striking types with wheel-augmented attacks being few and far between. All fighters should have some way of walking.
This isn’t bumper cars but something much cooler, the suplexes in robot wrestling are some of the coolest things I’ve seen coming out of any tech hobby.

Bit of a shame that Metallic fighter has changed to become so similar to saaga as I found the old fight style to be impressive however saaga dominated for a reason
It’s more so taking the wheel aspect of saga and utilising it to its fullest potential, the wheels Metallic Fighter has give him way more mobility compared to saga. Though you are correct that Metallic has become similar to Saaga.

I like the old jiu jitsu fighting style too but the creator probably didnt see any future in that fighting style as it wouldnt be enough to beat saaga’s suplex

Saaga is a robot of the highest caliber. Removes opponents’s wheel so it can’t go straight. Then suplexes it so hard it can’t get up.
His toughest challenge yet, but no one beats the Karelin of robots. Those suplexes are simply unmatched.

I think it was justified considering how cheap Metallic was being.
Really Metallic is like a suped up Saaga without the armor. Think Iron Man vs Iron Monger from the MCU movies.
Should really promote this kind of competitions. It's not just enjoyable. A lot will enjoy also building robots like these. & Will may improve it too in the future.
Making robot builders enjoy also this kind of competitions. Motivates them happily building robots. Is way better than a Robot builder who just seriously building robots without fun.

Metallic Fighter had some nice improvements. Made him faster and became more agile. Next time Saaga needs to come up with new tricks too. ;)
Especially saagas punches seemed to be a little weak when fighting against Metallic Fighter. They seemed a little too slow to make Metallic Fighter fall.
Oh you didn't know!? Saaga has been upgraded with flying knee ability! Springs send him flying with force, essentially destroying any bot in front of him!! He also has a devastating headlock, where he squeezes the head off of his opponents. He's able to land punches and elbows with greater force too. Saaga double champ bot!!
Metalic got us in the first half. I almost thought saaga was gonna lose. But he made an amazing comeback at the end

I don't know about this red robot.. Feels like a cheap trick... He's just a big car that's driving into things. Barely even bipedal. Saga is actually a walking robot.
It seems easy but it has complex set of movements, like roll lateraly and make fast and accurate hits. Also, their arms make fast movements to avoid Saaga attacks and counter him. Still it's not at Saaga level but it was a great oponent.

Setuju, kalau cara menggunakan rodanya seperti cara Metallic Fighter. MF mendorong dengan kekuatan penggerak roda, bukan dengan pukulan atau semacamnya. Sedikit tidak adil.
To be fair, adding wheel is kind of cheap. Just charge and knock the opponent down. But seriously, strafing from 7:13 is a genius idea.

Yeah, Saaga has wheels but they’re used more responsibly. In the end Saaga was able to exploit his less armored opponent’s wheels to his advantage.
Metallic’s design is actually very similar to Saaga’s really, just far less refined.

I don't like Metallic Fighter at all. If these wheels are allowed, it will soon turn into Battlebots. Where "Bot" just a weapon on wheel that bump into each other.
I would rather watch King Kaiser doing drop kick or Saaga doing Suplex, than a car in a ring.
To be fair Metallic Fighter is basically an exaggerated form of Saaga’s own design. The main difference is that Metallic Fighter’s design focuses on speed and brute force forgoing much of the technique and range of fine movement that makes Saaga a truest unique bit. As well Saaga has one other distinct advantage… he has armor, whereas you can see that Metallic Fighter is just a frame and guts which was ultimately why he lost.
You can’t disable Saga’s wheels like that because his armored design makes them less susceptible to attack, while Metallic’s far bigger tires make a much easier target. As well his exposed innards are more likely to rattle about and dislodge due to his lack of casing as we saw in the end resulting in a catastrophic malfunction which meant he couldn’t get back up.
In the end it was a flawed attempt at recreating Saaga.

This is still a pretty decent match. The wheels of both robots definitely made this match less interesting for me. Wrestling also involves some footwork. If I wanted to watch bots moving around with wheels to fight, I would stick to only watching BattleBots.
