Hey, you have a really wonderful voice and you saved me just now. I've been searching for an apps to record my vocal. I've always wanted to record a cover song but I don't have all the 'pro' equipment. But thanks to you, I can simply record it using only phone and earphone. Thanks!!
Oh and the "shift" is actually for adjusting your recordings, (bcs sometimes the recording is not at the same line above.) so if you want a precise timing, you can use that shift and adjust your vocal recordings.

or you can just download the inatrumental and just add the instrumental at bandlab directly and you can listen to it and record your voval together... simultaneously...
If you listen closely , I mentioned that Bandlab had a latency issue where the music and the vocal are not sync properly , so this is just another alternative 😊

Actually what I am doing is that I import the music first the record my voice with in the bandlab app also so there is no need for me to match the voice and instrumental
Honestly not being mean or anything its better to use software like Ableton or Fl Studio or for free CakeWalker or LMMS if you are going to be making good music or making music for someone because in DAW's or (Digital Audio Work Station) you can get plugins like Sausage Fattener or RC-20 Retro Color to sound fire! So that's why it's better to use a PC DAW and not an android one. Just recommending you.
When I record on band lab app, I do record well and always right with the instrumentals. But after recording and playing to hear how it sounds like, the instrumentals always sound faster than my voice recording. So disjointed. I don't know how to fix this issue on the app.

you just record the audio first, edit it, then film yourself singing the recorded audio you just edited

Yh I used to have that problem. Press record on either track 1 or 2 for a second then pause it. But in empty space. Then th fx will be there
