I got this game today with no prior experience in this kind of platformer game. After 960 deaths and 2 and a half hours, I can proudly say that I beat the first screen. :D
@ART com I love difficult challenging games like 7th saga dragon warrior two final fantasy v super bosses etc but this Kamila shit is impossible for regular humans. You must be very dexterous and young lol congratulations if you best this. Boshy is as hard as I go. Although I am trying to play Kamila part 1 and I'm half way through but lost my files
@ART com I understand what you're saying, but I still don't think someone should play this as their first IWBTG fangame. My first introduction to these games was some guy on a discord server telling me to play i wanna be the co-op with him and I couldn't even get past a gate. If I started playing k3 at that skill level it would have taken forever.
Yo, good job! Its nice to see people playing these games from an outsider perspective, as always. Oh, and to answer why the community is obsessed with curving bullets, its real simple: its really easy to code and ups the difficulty of attacks without making them too uninteresting/too stupid. You gotta remember that ab out everyone making these games are amateur game-makers. (although you are probably right that its way overdone)
Ok some games are called bullet hell for a reason but this… this is more then that. I have played I wanna be the guy for example, but this is just almost impossible to beat unless you know the safe spots here. GG’s on beating it. Mad respect for it
I wanna be the guy: Freaking hard path + Troll + Lotta crossover. I wanna kill the kamilla: Still lotta crossover + Kaizo bullet hell + Puzzle solving.
I wanna be the boshy was hard too...mega Man took me like 24 hours of non stop playing to beat or something like that. And he was just a regular boss lol
Dark Souls is hard, but it's not just execution that's tested. There's also system knowledge and pattern recognition, as well as a lot of purposeful game design such that you CAN get better and eventually overcome. IWBTG and their many snowclones are pure execution challenges thrown together by the sort of people that send their friends Kaizo hacks for fun.
I'm just not dexterious enough in my fingers anymore. With age, comes declined gaming skills. Sucks cuz I was really gonna give this game my best shot. I've never played a game I wasn't able to beat so I was up for any challenge but now it's just not gonna happen. I don't know if I'll ever play this one again but I'd like to. Maybe some SAMe to get the joints lossened lol
RPGs tho..if anyone knows the most challenging rpg for older systems like nes and snes please let me know. I breezed through the 7th saga. (All one had to do was level up. Dragon warrior II was an old fav but still too easy) Toughest challenge for me was beating Omega and shinryu super bosses in FFV in all Japanese (I don't know the language) with no internet on a regular snes (I had a converter that converted super famicom games to snes systems) but after 100 hours I best both. I best shinryu the hard way turns out after finally seeing online strategies (I didn't see them until after I completed both bosses) and the Omega guy I figured out the simple way to beat him by trying all the combinations. Took me 500+ hrs of gameplay to master the game and all of the classes. I had a written translation that was it. Boko...lol
Cool video! :-) This game is so hard... I think some of the jumps are impossible without a keyboard which is able to use jumping cancel... And the bosses are only RNG! I'm not a bad player of IWBTG-Fangames, but my skills are only adequate to beat the Easy-Mode-Version of this game... It was still very hard!
This Is K3, The hardest possible game of all time. Edit: I was kinda stupid when I wrote this. I'm not super involved with the fangame community or anything of the sort. I'm sort of on the right track, it's very hard. But things like Melanzana are harder :/
We're all lucky that Colonel didn't break out the washing machine. Also how the heck does the minesweeper part work? Do you dodge on kb while playing with the mouse?
What practice tool did you use? I have recently gotten into fangames, but the inability to practice later parts of a checkpoint has really kept me from trying anything harder than Boshy. I would love to be able to practice a checkpoint in segments before actually trying to finish it in one go.
The practice tool he used was made exclusively for Kamilia 3. If you want a practice tool for general platforming, check out JTool. I'm not sure if there's any tool that works for all bosses in all games, unfortunately.
Here you go ibbs.info/thread.php?no=158&id=iwanna . I never used it myself, but there it is. As a warning, it's a practice tool for a somewhat older version, so some attacks might be a little buffed or a little nerfed compared to the current version.
The game is good but most of the difficulty of the bosses comes from pixel collision and bad RNG. Touhou might not be a very hard STG but a 1cc is a 1cc.
Tbh, RNG in VERY long bosses( Influka for example ) are just really bad. RNG alone in games really just kill the fun, some people like it, but personally, I don't. K3 is a example of some bad RNG examples. I don't hate K3, but there are some problems.
There are small amounts of RNG which can be bad. Like in solgryn memory in Influka, it's rng where the balls spawn but Its always in a way which isn't bullshit
This game is pretty bad, unlike IWBTB the controls aren’t adapted to the difficulty. Most of the fights don’t seem as fluent or vibrant as the bosses in IWBTB or IWBTG. There weren’t pointless interruptions within the bosses to just add confusion and each phase went smoothly into the next. The IWKTK series has major flaws in terms of bosses and mechanics. For some reason Touhou is used a lot, which honestly is much better than this. These types of games are more fun to watch than play yourself because of the interesting patterns and design choice.
I (almost) completely disagree. The controls of Kamilia 3 are the same as Boshy's or IWBTG's. They differ in their physics, where Kamilia 3 uses the standard fangame physics, which are billions of times smoother than either, IWBTB or IWBTG. Also, quite a few bosses of IWBTG are anything but vibrant or fluid. Just look at Bowser. Slowest and dullest fight ever. Edit: The interruptions are kind of bad, I agree with that. But they aren't pointless. They are references to other IWBTG fangames, which is the whole point of the Kamilia series. I do agree that K3 has some flaws, but (almost) none of them are what you mentioned. Also, lol at the guy who said "boshy fangames"

You shouldn't play this as your first iwbtg game
Yeah play boshy it's perfect..not too hard and not too easy. Even I wanna be the guy is challenging
I’m proud of you

I love the effort put into the presentation of this video, including the description.
Literal God.
Fun Fact about influka:
Every 'flashback' has their order randomized, except Solgryn and KTK2 Influka, which are flashbacks 3 and 6 respectively
when you have to dodge and play minesweeper

why are you fighting png images of anime girls

I HATE IT
Ah yes my favorite anime girl: Colonel Longhena
I wanna be the guy: Freaking hard path + Troll + Lotta crossover.
I wanna kill the kamilla: Still lotta crossover + Kaizo bullet hell + Puzzle solving.
Holy fucking shit, the forgetting-to-save at the end is pretty meme.

The video you show people who say dark souls was a hard game.
i agree xd
I wanna be the boshy was hard too...mega Man took me like 24 hours of non stop playing to beat or something like that. And he was just a regular boss lol
But that game appears simple compared to these types
@@ecstaticallyextreme bro kamilia 3 is waaay harder than boshy

When you do this, are there physics equations flying through the air?
OMG this game is insane
And here I thought iwbtg was tough. And boshy was insane but still beatable. This one idk if I could ever best the original

They're mostly not rng
Any keyboard with two shift keys is able to jump cancel.
They should've just called this "I Wanna Be the Bullet Hell"
That’s every I wanna be the guy fangame
Is this some kind of rhythm/bullet hell?
Andrea Lewis This is pain.
its a platformer, the hardest platformer ever imo.

Spirit GD I think Boshy is harder and more tricky.
Pulsarity Channel that is several levels of false
Quick question: what do you think are the hardest bosses in this game? (Top 5 would be nice)
Dont stare at the bullets during the piano section, that made me dizzy from all the colors and patterns
We're all lucky that Colonel didn't break out the washing machine.
Also how the heck does the minesweeper part work? Do you dodge on kb while playing with the mouse?
Yes
So yea....... I'm at 450 deaths in line 3 hours and I haven't finished the first room. I knew this game was hard but my God 😳
play an easier game like i wanna be the guy or i wanna be the boshy before playing this one
woah this looks slick and awesome
kamilia's theme sound is like shinki's theme (well before second round with kamilia)
it is a remix of shinki's theme!
but i wanna save her now she was cute (well killed me like 15000 times) but! I can help just...
Nghh, *nevermind*
Still i wanna save her xd
Why are the Touhou bosses in easy mode?
Because the creator just play Touhou, I guess

Hatsune Miku Touhou
