i LOVE your videos soooo much. i did your postpartum program and just found out i’m expecting again and i’m sooo happy you have pregnancy series as well. also- i really love how you speak throughout the workout. it’s nice to get the explanation for movements but it also distracts me from the workout and makes the time go by faster
Looking forward to do this once I'm pregnant with my second. I really didn't take care of my health during my first pregnancy and gained alot of weight. This time i hope i do it right with your help!
I have a question ! At what point is it not recommended to do exercises that require you being on your back ? I’m getting conflicting information on this.
It is very individualized and should be discussed with your medical provider! I was able to tolerate some exercise on my back for the duration of my pregnancy. But for some, that may not be appropriate. But in the first trimester, short intervals of exercise on your back is considered safe. But definitely check with your medical provider!
I was told it was safe but you need to get on your back properly and get back up properly. But also that it is very individual and we have to listen to our bodies. Was also informed that in first and second pregnancy body usually can do back workouts for longer but usually by third it's not as easy so not recommended but mostly to avoid injury. Is this in any way correct? I'm just careful to get down safely and up safely for my core.
Just did this and had a pleasant burn on the abs - ab workouts are my favourite so im always a bit sad to not be able to go as hard during pregnancy. Keen to follow your per trimester workouts but just wondering when i should exlusively do the second trimester ones? Is it just based on bump size or is it more for safeguarding against DR (which i still have a bit of in the upper abs from last pregnancies) ?
Some is based on bump size, which can inhibit your ability to connect to your deep core and the further along you are, the more your lines alba softens and DR starts to emerge. But it’s up to you! You may be able to tolerate the first trimester exercises for longer, it can just depend on your abilities, comfort levels, etc. ❤
It really depends on the person and the pregnancy. Check with your provider if you’re unsure and always listen to your body-if spending doesn’t feel good, don’t do it! ❤
Do you have any pregnancy workouts that don't put as much pressure on the wrist? I have hypermobile EDS so pressure on the wrists causes pain and over flexing
Hi! I’m sorry to hear that! I have playlists of workouts for each trimester of pregnancy. Most of my cardio, strength parts of my Ab workouts would be suitable, however you will probably need to modify a few exercises in each workout. ❤
Yes! Although you may need to modify the bear crawls and/or forearm plank to make sure you maintain good core control. You can do this by placing the knees on the floor for both exercises. ❤
It is common, but not “normal;” during pregnancy there is a lot of added stress on your joints and ligaments that can cause things like wrist pain. My suggestion is to stop or modify whenever you feel pain and to make sure you are stretching, massaging, doing chiropractic care, etc to release tension in your spine, as this often contributes to wait pain.
If you want a name for your baby you could call her Genevieve if it is a girl because it is a beautiful name or Christian if it is a boy and your baby may like one of those names how they are or so that your baby might make it shorter if it wanted to and it has great meanings and it is a nice long name for your baby to have and would be great to have good pronunciation skills and your baby would have more letters to write that gets more fun. What do you think.
