- Enjoy!
PLEASE READ THE DESCRIPTION
Secret Boss: Elizabeth "The Ultimate Opponent" (Hard Mode)
Battle Begins: 1:51
Required Personae:
Orpheus Telos (Not required but strongly recommended)
Helel (Armageddon Fusion Spell) (Spell Master on either)
Satan (Armageddon Fusion Spell) (Spell Master on either)
Vishnu (Infinity Fusion Spell) (Spell Master on either)
Ananta (Infinity Fusion Spell) (Spell Master on either)
Required Equipment:
Weapon: +10 All Stats or Telos weapon is strongly recommended
Armor: Armor of Light (Messiah Heart Item)
Feet: Any (If your not using a bow, shoes with Reduce Stumble can be useful)
Accessory: Divine Pillar (Alilat Heart Item)
Required Items:
-Bead x20 (This is required if you do not have Diarahan/Mediarahan or Salvation on your Orpheus Telos).
-Soma x3 (Needed for restoring SP to use Armageddon)
-Homunculus x5
Required skills on Orpheus Telos:
-Unshaken Will
-High Counter
An ideal Orpheus Telos skill set would be:
1.) Unshaken Will
2.) High Counter
3.) Mind Charge
4.) [Element] Boost
5.) [Element] Amp
6.) Ragnarok / Panta Rhei / Niflheim / Thunder Reign
7.) Salvation
8.) Spell Master
However you will most likely not be that lucky unless you do some serious fusing (It took me around 17 hours of shuffling to get the Orpheus I have). So I would just settle for 6/8 of those, while only excluding Salvation, Spell Master, and [Element] Boost.
Rules you must follow or she annihilates you with a 9999 Megidolaon:
1.) No Party Members
2.) No Omnipotent Orb
3.) No Null/Reflect/Absorb passive skills on the element she is going to use.
4.) No Attack/Magic Mirrors or Tetrakarn/Makarekarn
5.) No Armageddon over 10,000 HP
6.) Defeat her before 80 turn/10 cycles
Elizabeth Turn Order:
1st Turn - With Surt, she uses Maragidyne or any physical attacks.
2nd Turn - With Jack Frost, she uses Mabufudyne or physical.
3rd Turn - With Thor, she uses Maziodyne or physical.
4th Turn - With Cu Chulainn, she uses Magarudyne or physical.
5th Turn - With Metatron, she uses Mahamaon or physical.
6th Turn - With Alice, she uses Mamudoon or physical.
7th Turn - With Nebiros, she uses any bad status ailment magics or physical.
8th Turn - With Masakado, she uses Megidolaon.
She Repeats this cycle after Turn 8.
Strategy: There's too many precautions in this fight to make my strategy very helpful unless you plan to go with Fire as your element on Orpheus Telos (which I don't recommend). But first, you should know the strengths and weaknesses of every Persona she has in her possession, so that you know when to avoid using your attack and when to hit her weakness. Also, starting the fight equipped with a Persona that has all 3 Auto-Kajas is extremely helpful.
My Strategy:
0th Turn - Ragnarok (To get some extra damage in while Auto-Tarukaja is still active)
1st Turn - Physical Attack or Heal (Mind Charge this turn on first cycle)
2nd Turn - Ragnarok
3rd Turn - Heal
4th Turn - Ragnarok
5th Turn - Physical Attack or Heal
6th Turn - Physical Attack or Heal
7th Turn - Fusion Spell Infinity
8th Turn - Mind Charge or Salvation if poisoned
I repeated this starting from Turn 1 until I had dealt atleast 9,600 damage to her, after this it pretty much comes down to luck on whether she hits herself from an auto attack on her second turn or not. Once she does she will be weak enough to finish off with Armageddon, if she reaches 50% HP on her turn (she has 20,000 HP) she will just heal to full with Diarahan and then it's game over.
Comment: The reason I don't recommend Ragnarok to use in this fight is because your only time to hit her weakness is when she has Jack Frost equipped, whom is right before Thor which is the most threatening turn due to her chance to Paralyze. If her Maziodyne Paralyzes you and then she hits you with a Physical Attack she will have a 100% chance to critical you, and even worse she will get another free turn. And since you had to hit her with Ragnarok your last turn you won't be 100% HP which means your guaranteed to die.
I only chose Ragnarok to RP since Orpheus starts with Agi :3.

you kinda take her by surprise using armageddon before she feels like she's starting to be in a pinch anyways
yeah by simple power scaling the attendants are infinitely powerful. they lack creativity and strategy which the protag has. We fight to convey that feeling
@@ultragamer4465 im not sure if they're infinitely powerfull than us, but since we can fuse and use spells by using two personas at once, maybe they arent like gods, they may have that potential, but since some of them aren't that much of adults (except margaret, of course) that could explain why we can fight them, even if we are just someone who has a special power.
Actually, the reason she one shots you is because the party has a null skill. Take them early on when they haven't upgraded their personas and she doesn't auto-spam megidolaon. Never tried beating it with them cause they are at best canon fodder and worst extra turns for her so never tried beating her with the party.

How ??
The real hardest part about this fight is actually getting orpheus telos with a workable skillset.
The painful memory of spending too much time shuffling skills in the velvet room. Gives me conniptions!
I must satisfied with 7 skills. I want to change Akasha Arts with Salvation, but it's too random. Akasha Arts still useful for random enemies, thought.
I have only gotten 6/8 skills once and even then it was a suboptimal build. The Death Arcana gives me the most headaches with Skill Noise. Seriously. Atlus should have given Persona 3 Fes the Golden Treatment.

This fight involves some luck with the rng of high counter iirc. You need it to go off on her second turn because if it doesn't and you deal enough damage she will cast diarahan on herself when her hp falls below the 9999 damage threshold.
when saw that first time " what a jerk move"
I know I've commented here before, but here are some key differences with this fight in _Portable:_
-Skill cards exist to cut down the unnecessary time (and frustration) in the Velvet Room, and there are only a few skills that don't have cards.
-Fusion spells exist as items. While you do need gems for them, you don't need the Personas tied to them anymore. Infinity and Armageddon are just as necessary, but Best Friends is also viable (IMO) because of this change.
-The Paradigm Door (which appears in Tartarus' entrance in January) has powered-up versions of the previous Full Moon bosses (top row) and a few other challenges. You can get some pretty sweet rewards from these, including some of the aforementioned Fusion...items, skill cards, top-tier Incense Cards, Homonculus, and gems.
also in portable you can dodge elizabeth's attacks so equipment that increases magic evasion or skills like angelic grace are good to use
@@reimumario4733 you can't in fes?
@@mizzix yeah that's why using the divine pillar in fes is very important
In fes you can dodge, i use barbaric bracers during this fight. But it's riskier than using divine pillar

@@ArclightLuna unavoidable battle is nice, but to be fair, you could easily miss this fight. So it's a little ironic to listen to while attacking Elizabeth.
Honestly, They give Battle for Everyone's Souls as her theme in the fighting game. If your aware.
Battle for everyone's souls definitely would've fit
I dont mind. I think giving her the boss theme for Evil Jesus's crew is rather fitting.
And people say twins from p5 is hard
Elizabeth is essentially a slightly nerfed version of demi fiend considering how many 'rules' she has in place. The absence of such rules such as null/repel/absorb persona, not to mention being able to use your full party against them+ OP sune really makes the twins much less of a challenge compared to Lizzie.
purplekiller 242 Twins are a piece of cake if you know how to use skills, but this is luck near the end. I remember that it took me a while to come up with a plan to defeat Elizabeth

9:20 667 damage!
I'm assuming that triggering the 9999-damage Megidolaon via breaking rules is not a one-and-done deal, even with the turn limit. Right? Because there's only so long you can keep casting Infinity.
Using Armageddon is pretty damn risky, because you have to be *absolutely certain* that Elizabeth is below 10,000 HP in order to use it, otherwise she retaliates with *that* Megidolaon. It's still satisfying to finish her off with an attack that awesomely equals its power, though!
AzoriusGamer if u wanna be safe and a little extra, you can have a calculator on hand to tally damage lmao
You realize I have calculator *apps* on my computers, right? I also play through the PS2 emulator PCSX2.
She has 20000 hp so just use armagedon when her bar is below half isn it?
The only way he could match her power in megidolaon was with 2 personas...but thats still quite impressive
"Try to kill me if you can."
-gets repelled by her own attack-
Just realized, her attacks were a hint for persona 4 card mechanic of summoning
She says she met someone stronger than her but she can end the fight anytime she wants, so really all she met was someone who could beat her when she pulled her punches.
Personally I always thought infringing the rules gave her the power to punish you for breaking them
1:02 “Yes. I am referring to myself.”
You also seem to be carrying yourself.
You can use any element you want on Orpheus Telos. None of her personas have weaknesses and each one persona drains their respective element. Nebiros resists them all and the rest nullify. Don't use a Strike or Piercing weapon because two of them null strike and one nulls pierce. So not hitting her on the Jack Frost turn isn't a huge loss. It's probably better that you don't.
Hmm it could be that her endurance is considerably lower when Jack Frost is equipped because I remember only hitting for 600-700 when she had Thor or Cu Chulainn equipped.
Nope. You see, when you use the compliment of an element (Fire-Ice, Lightning-Wind) against the element she used (In this fight, you using Ragnarok against her using Bufudyne), you'll get a 1.5x incentive in damage. That's why there's more damage

The only thing I hate about this fight isn't it's difficulty, its the fact the Elizabeth *IMMEDIATELY* CONTRADICTS HERSELF. She wants a fight with someone who has greater power than her yet has a bunch of rules. Now Armageddon spam I understand but nullifying/draining her attacks? Thats a natural thing Makoto would have by this point thus it isn't unfair.
She probably want to know how can human like Makoto struggled through against all odds and win against much stronger opponent.
@@sigmaenjoyer7020 Yes and that would have been fine but she says "If I can face one whose power exceeds my own" Then has rules that bring you down to her level. The fight itself is great mind you I just don't like the contradiction. Then again it is a localization so it is possible that originally she wanted to face someone who was at least equal to her power. The other velvet assitant fights do it more as a test of what can be done with a wild card's power. Elizabeth though WANTS an opponent stronger than her but then drags that opponent down to her level.
@@ZeroDurability I mean even Margaret will punish you if you take too long with 50 turn 9999 Megidolaon, idk about Lavenza or the Twin since i never played P5 yet, but it's safe to say they still holding back alot even agaisnt end game mc in all persona games just from pure gameplay alone.

Man, how do you get those personas? I'm currently 22 days away from the finale and no matter what I fuse I get the same 5 or 6 personas.
I can only provide one m8, Orpheus Telos.
To obtain Orpheus Telos, you need to max out every. single. social link. On 1 continuous run. It’s very challenging, and iirc you don’t have much room for fuckup. But if you do max everyone out, you will get an item that allows you to fuse Orpheus Telos. Good luck! I recommend using a guide
if you're following a fusion calculator but you still end up getting trash personae, maybe you haven't maxed out the s link needed for that persona
I love how megidolaon is a multi target spell and yet no boss uses it like that/ no player uses it like that
By the way, did you notice that she summons persona in the same way as the investigation team, meaning with cards? Shouldn't Chie, Yosuke etc's personas be part of the compendium if that's the case? It's only a question, no hate please!
No, the velvet people just use cards themselves. all of them do. Investigation team's personae are all unique to them, the same way everybody's persona is minus wild card users.
Aidan Smith I see... so the Velvet siblings use the compendium that contains all the personas a wild card user can fuse/summon, minus the specific ones like Orpheus and Izanagi. Thank you :)
Man...It's pretty sad you had to specify the "no hate, please" at the end
I wish the internet was a nicer place :/
@@faragaroruga3229 The Persona fandom especially. We're so cruel to each other when one has another opinion.
The way persona 4 treats the investigation team is that they face the ugly side of their personalities to awaken their personas , but the protagonist didn't so maybe he follows the same rule as those of the velvet room ... I dunno I'm still not that far into the game
Imagine doing this without beads.

I don't remember the process I did, but for Ragnarok I know it involves fusing a lvl 56+ Surt somewhere into O.Telos' spread. Use a fusion chart/calculator to help you determine which combinations to do. Make sure you're capped on yen when you do this, because there will be ALOT of high level fusing. Since you're gonna want to have as many of these skills as you can, on all the personae required to fuse O.Telos. Once you make a final product of Helel, Thanatos, Metatron, Chi You, Asura, or Messiah. I would register it to the compendium and then try to incorporate it into one of the other 5.

I keep hearing she has all these different rules for the battle but I dont see what she means
Use a persona that can nullify, reflect, or drain more than one property? Equip a persona that can null/reflect/drain the element of the persona she's using? Use an Attack/Magic Mirror, Tetrakarn, or Makarakarn during battle? Equip an accessory that nulls physical or elemental damage? You use Armageddon before she's below 10,000 HP? Fail to defeat her within her turn limit? You do any of those, Elizabeth will heal herself to max HP and then proceed to drop her special, max damage Megidolaons on you until you die. Think you're clever and use an auto-revival item on the protagonist? She'll keep dropping those on you until you stop getting back up. Also, failing to use Infinity on the turn she brings out Masakado means almost certain death.
James The Hikage fanboy She doesn’t tell you the rules; they were found out by trial and error (before anybody wrote any P3 guides i mean)
It basically boils down to
- Don’t have any elemental Block/Repel/Absorb
- Don’t use attack and magic reflect items and skills
- Don’t use the Omnipotent Orb
- Don’t use Armageddon unless it reduces her HP to 0
Shell repeatedly cast 9999 Megidolaon with Pixie if you violate any of these
Elizabeth’s turns also follows a set pattern, and she will use 9999 Megidolaon (with Masakado instead) before it cycles back, so you need to use Infinity (Vishnu + Ananta) to survive.
Also if you bring even at least one party member she will megidolaon you for 9999 damage and it can't be reflected, absorbed, or dodged
I would still enjoy this boss fight even when makoto dies
If you don't have divine pillar is it possible to actually dodge her attacks?
possible but her accuracy is very high. i use a modded skill in P3P to test dodge build (shoes of light + barbaric bracer + ali dance + angelic grace + premonition) not to mentioned 99 agl and some respective elemental evade/dodge according to her elemental turn. reaper just able to hit my char either 1 or none at all. same story with margaret. however elizabeth is on another level. not only her accuracy is high but she also hit like a truck. u can try dodge build but be expect to get kill in 1-2 attack. btw i test it on lvl 98 on maniac level (just some sort of challenge :P)
we call her elizadeath for a reason
This battle was a pain I could never do so. Also if u want the best equipment u have to beat her each time for a party member
Yea, reload doesn't compare. FES is still the king.
I still dont get why she uses multiple target attacks
i imagine the devs wanted to give a little reprieve since ma- spells have slightly lower accuracy
doesnt account for most players usually coming in with a divine pillar or firm stance but w/e lol
@@zaqareemalcolm also ive heared ma- skills do slightly more damage??
I don't think so tbh
@@jadebayoba7073 no they have the same base power as their single target ver. in this game
i thought the shoes of light but it doesn't matter. since divine pillar prevents dodge.
I tried without Divine Pillar in Normal Mode, i won. Weapon: bow
Wait... so this cheater gets to have two moves per turn, can use instant kill attacks, is immune to them and deals so much damage that Nyx can only hide in corner and cry... and we aren't allowed to have party with us?! We aren't allowed to use Armageddon? Man I hate such bosses with unexplained ability to instant kill.
🤭
@Hope Bagel Nah, I actually changed my mind after so many months passed. Two moves per turn is fine, though it's a shame we can never do that and it's never explained how Elizabeth can move twice per turn. Her rules on the other hand... ugh.
Also, I don't get the "Game Over" screen we get after losing. Does she really kill us? I just kinda cannot believe Liz's goal would be to murder protagonist.
What's the cue for using infinity?
Every certain amount of turns
Looks like every time she tries to afflict you.
Why not have a full team, spam Infinity to defend your team, and have them wail her down till Armageddon time?
you can only fight her alone, she won't let you bring a party
Why didn’t you use Armageddon in the beginning
Elizabeth has 20,000 health and Armageddon will only do half of that. If you use it on the first turn, she will then fully heal herself, then drop a 9999 damage megidolaon on you as punishment.
What's the music before the fight starts?
Maya theme
