The monthly rental or monthly mortgage we pay here in the US, can actually be used to build a big, sturdy, and beautiful house 🏠 in the Philippines, with less or no headache/stress, if we are to sum it all up, how much money was spent to rent/mortgage in the US, or in other countries, for years. At least the house in the Philippines is all ours, and we can live stress-free and comfortably!....👍🇵🇭

On the contrary, the Philippines could turn into a real Paradise if you keep your properties (house, apartments) in the US rented. Don't sell it. Because that is what generate your monthly income.
I have very fond memories of the church in Ormoc you showed in the beginning of this video (Sts. Peter and Paul). I attended two weddings there. You had a very nice house blessing with good food. May you live a long and healthy life in your new house, strenghtened by your undying love for each other.

This turned out to be a house blessing ritual from the northern provinces, where my wife’s family is from. We all laughed about the little surprise that was left for me to discover and it is etched in my mind forever. I know the house blessing is a big deal in philippine culture, so Congratulations!
House blessing (by a priest with holy water & holy blessed salt) is still a big deal for many Roman Catholics throughout the world, even in the West. Houses, for farms the fields, schools, even motorcycles! A veterans hospital on the East Coast USA still holds annual motorcycle blessing which is very well attended🏍️🏡. I guess more of a big deal in areas where Catholicism is more vibrant.
My wife and I a while back was able to buy a good piece of beach front property where she is from in Negros Oriental. I am NOT a Vlogger, but as you can see I have renamed my channel and hopefully I can start posting some videos soon of our place. We are coming early December to do this very type of blessing of the new buildings. We will be there from Dec 6th to the 28th and have many things to get done. I might say I am a bit jealous as I am 55 and yet to retire, but that time will come soon I hope. Simple life is a Happy Life. Congrats and may you have many Happy Years to come. OH and I noticed you are sweating there in the end. LOL

Wow as newbie to see the unfinished garden. How quickly you accomplished everything. With lotsa hard work I’m sure. Lovely day with Lola’s bday! & house blessing (the priest traditionally blesses the boundaries of your home/yard/property too as part of the entire blessing-but people don’t always accompany him for that part except the owners maybe). Really elegant seating gathering. The caterers were great, efficient . One or both of this couple must be a designer or have that artist’s vision because everything looks so nice, orderly but not dull, always a harmonious aesthetic, from when still being built/finished, to more lived in like now.
It’s come a long way my friend. It still is amazing the grass is only just over a year old! I never thought it would grow like it did once planted. God bless you 😊
House Blessings are laways a aspeical event there i know. Been to several fo them over th years. Ctering the food and setting up was a task but the entire placed looked beautiful. I see how beautiful your home is following along as the priest blesses each and every room. You both have worked so hard to achieve what you have . Yes it does look lie tourist will be allowed soon but still patients is needed. I know Adam you miss your family in the UK, Issabella misses her grand mom and her friends, maybe soon they cna visit you .
