How can you test an actuator to isolate the problem before ordering the part?

The easiest way to isolate a defective actuator is to plug a known-working actuator into the port in question on your bed’s control box, then re-test the function. If the known-working actuator moves when the associated function is pressed but your original actuator does not, then you have isolated the problem to the actuator. Note that while actuators on your Panacea 3000 Series Bed are not interchangeable in production, any of them can be swapped temporarily to confirm control box functionality and isolate actuator failures
