Not sure if you realise this is made by Golf Club devs but just rebranded. I think I am right on that. I love it so far but they could improve a lot graphics wise. Especially the character models. That stood out instantly like they are a generation or 2 behind they are that bad. At least they have got most of the mechanics right as a priority rather than the other way around. There is so much they could do and would be great if they could get master's license etc. Imagine earning the green & gold jackets. I could even see them do a spin off or extras where you play past legends or play as them. I hope they keep the series going and spend a lot more time on the graphics & more money getting players and licenses. Would be good to play as them even. I could also see more of an rpg system you could have seperate. Or better things to earn than another pair of slacks or polo shirts. Or where you experience counts for more or does more.

I used to jam to Tiger Woods back in the day and decided to pick this up after a long hiatus. I am not mad at all and can safely say, the future looks bright for golfing sims. I hope that they add more free courses and modes as the year progresses.
I am not a mad golfer by any stretch of the imagination and play for real here and there but I am enjoying this games so much .... it’s in my view very rewarding

Standard version gives you all the courses but no coins. The coins are earned in the game, and are used to customize your player. Golf clubs and outfit. The clubs have stats that affect your gameplay. Some hit it straighter some hit it further etc. In the deluxe version you get a "time saver" so you dont have to grind as long to get the clubs you want. That is pretty much it. I say go for standard and just play a few hours to earn the coins. If you're on xbox feel free to join my society where we play true sim difficulty tournaments. "Shotsgained TRUSIM" is the name
Totally agree. Best golf game there’s ever been. Like in real golf practice results in actual improvements. The user created courses are already so much better than in 2019 as well. But if someone likes tiger / Rory games then this probably isn’t for u
I'm glad u commented on the ball spin feature. I was wondering if that would feature in this game. I'm disappointed it isn't there, but judging by all the positive comments and ppl recommending this game I think I will still purchase this game, especially while it is at low sale price.
heavyq Try starting career mode when not connected to the internet.... There’s even a go offline mode in 2K21 and once you do, Career Mode is not available to select with a message saying an internet connection is required.

Video games are getting to serious these days. This one, superhero games, steam and FIFA is pretty good. PS5 looks too realistic. People need light hearted sports and entertainment
I have not played a golf game in at least 10-12 years and I started on Amateur. It is way too easy. I finished first and 9 under. I put it to pro-am & still finished first and 9 under. Maybe anateyr for your first but not after that. I am probably find too try pro fit 3rd game because of your are getting 99%of shots where you need them I think that is too easy. You want it more like real life. Maybe I just have to set the opponent bts at a hater difficulty but I feel like you should be missing s lot of shots & having to recover and use spin & fading. I think you really have to start playing on pro-am or even pro. I can see myself wanting to get to legend as that will be the best challenge & probably exactly like me in real life where I screw up constantly.

The clubs have stats now that will affect your gameplay. You also have to adapt your equipment and gapping to each course to play well.

Great but very shallow, you get the best clubs at the start. After that whats the point?
As unrealistic as it was I miss the ball spin mechanic. It’d be nice if you could turn it on and off.

No offline single player Career!! 👎 Despite how much I enjoy the gameplay, no offline career is the biggest downside.
There is 100% an offline single-player career mode.
