Theres a huge community of RBTs like me that are outraged that our clinics are still running and requiring us it even guilt tripping us to still work when they are able to stay in the comfort of their own home. Ethically, I remember in class (I'm in school at FIT for my bcba) it states that medical laws and government laws come before our morals and the behavior analysis ethics code so why are we abandoning this ?!
Alot of us have refused to to back until and have even been laid off because of this and we are stuck relying on donations in order to pay our Bill's. We want to stay safe and it's really not fair to us who dont have the luxury of using telehealth to be the ones putting the clients and our selves at risk and danger.

At the same time the other side of the coin is we recognize that for some clients who are more severe, we are absolutely necessary for them because they are a danger to themselves and others so that is a case where they may need to seek care at a closed off area or residential facility or hospital but when it comes to clients who work on school readiness skills, the caregivers and parents can get training via telehealth on that there is no reason to continue in person therapy. It's just not safe.
