I feel bad for spare rations, at the time rose wasn’t available to get anymore so it was very much a diet rose but the origin perk was basically non existent since it barely ever proved being useful, then rose came back and spare rations just got forgotten about completely

They just need to make it a lightweight and it’d be great. Or yk just make it a 150rpm or something unique there’s literally no reason to not hcs with unique traits like rose or the exotic 140s now

i feel like the spare has better sights, it just hits shots that it shouldnt, unlike Rose

Spare still feels super clean imo, even though rose is strictly better it’s still fun to pull spare out once in a while. It’s also really nice for rumble since its origin trait gives 15 range and 15% flinch resist for 1.5 seconds the next time you shoot after picking up a green brock

Spare rations is just a different “type” of hand cannon. It has lower base range and stability for an exchange of distinct handling, reload speed, and magazine size. 71 handling and 13 rounds a mag on base. The only reason people are whining for a buff or change is because their “favorite” isn’t the “best” at the same time. The gun is just different and whether you like its difference or not it has its benefits.
Edit: just to mention, I remember the time it also had the benefits of ricochet rounds + range finder allowing it to be the ultimate hand cannon but nothing really changed from how the gun feels nowadays. Also, the range on the gun isn’t even that bad. You can get up to 33M without slideshot or opening. Stop living in the past guys
