@@aydd3no it’s not, you need one and buy your way up to level 100. You can instantly craft it. You still need 5 normal weapons but that’s not difficult at all

Only thing that sucks is the origin trait doesn’t synergize well with holding dodge for stompees movement. Maybe drop stompees for something else and see how the extra stats feel when u spam abilities?

feels pretty good, im pretty sure the guns visual recoil animation is the same as 140s so the ads reticle resets faster than the rest of the 120s
Agreed, kinda like how NF maintained its 180 recoil even now that it’s a 140. I suspect it’s out of bungos laziness / incompetence, regardless it’s at least in our favor

@@darkrager872 No, because every time except for LH/NF it's been an accident. And in that case it had been made explicitly clear by maintaining the precision frame, while this is an aggressive rather than staying as an adaptive or lightweight.
so stability is less important than other 120s essentially?
@@sQuaTsiFieD unless youre constantly keeping the origin perk active or are just really good at dealing with the visual kick id still recommend some stability. i tried a full bore accurized, enhanced ranged mw roll putting it at 15 stability and youre pretty much looking at the roof every shot.
I recommend trying out the new hunter aspect on strand where u leave a decoy after dodging!! Really throws ppl for a loop up close and u can hide behind the mfs

If you want to use stompees still then just unbind the dodge and air dodge
Doesn’t really matter. Stompees are still good on Strand because of the cooldown. In 3v3 or Rumble it’s good, but 6v6 it not really good because you can’t have it in every gunfight

120s has been on my mind since round robin with keep away and elemental capacitor, still I’m not completely convinced about this one
This one is 100% better than RR. The recoil is on par with igneous no doubt about it

I’ve noticed that a lot of Hunter players never try to grab their strand Kunai when it comes back to them.
Edit: Ok, I get it. It’s hard to focus on catching it when there’s more important things to pay attention to.

@@starzariaguy5151 I try but considering I usually don’t see it coming and am usually also in a firefight it’s easy to forget and/or mess up.
it’s just really annoying to do mid gunfight, hard to pay attention to it coming back while shooting, switching targets and looking at radar, at least for me lol
From my experience the small little animation it does to catch it I'm usually push buy a shotty the same time an is a sitting duck but not that much energy in 1v1 situation
i got a 5/5 regular spare already and it’s my favorite handcannon easily
Unfortunately they didn't buff spare rations base stats so it's decent but outclassed by the likes of austringer/eyasluna/rose/etc. I'm sure it's still a solid weapon in the right hands though, glad you're enjoying it :)

Since the stompee nerf sixth coyote has been really strong on strand Hunter
Edit: this is only because suspending can be very helpful and still having an extra dodge to escape with us super useful
I legit I bonded by dodge key to play stompees this season and so far it’s going alright, if it starts to go south I’m switching to warlock
Deepsight harmonizers are so clutch, is how i finished my hand cannon too and also my pulse rifle since the drop rate for pulse feels nonexistent for me, took like 1000 fish and deep dives

I never used my hunter dodge because i play passive asf anyways but since strand came out and i now have been playing hyper aggressive with the spiderman dive i wouldn't be able to use stompees if i even wanted to. But eh never needed it before foetracer is just too good

You realize you can get the same damage on strand classes, right? Both require the new armor mod elemental surge and the appropriate damage surge. It just practically free on behemoth titan.
But, you can get the actual Spare Rations…. Which means… a Wallah Vid with the GOAT again…. We will be waiting

You can get two taps with the elemental well perk that gives you a damage buff on stasis titan.
What's actually required for this is one elemental charge and to surge mods of void. This can be done on any subclass but it is easiest on stasis titan because of glacial harvest.
Glad im not the only one that hates the new comp sniper reticle. Got a 4/5 was super hyped and its unusable😢

Wholeheartedly wish it was Surplus in the third column. Theoretically, it would've cancelled each other out, with an instant boost of Stability, Handling and Reload at all times.
Bottom Dollar and Igneous still can't be beat.

Bind your auto melee and uncharged melee to different keys/buttons. Auto melee will always prioritize your charged melee.

3 man is faster imo but you also get a good amount of engrams from just strikes and crucible + keys so you can loop the gameplay if you want

What’s it’s feel like compared to steady hand?
Steady hand is my top 120, I have a few thousand kills on a max stability consistency roll. Gotta say, this thing does not compete as a dueling weapon. Keep away is okay, and makes it feel close, but not good enough. Even with smallbore steady rounds, and a range masterwork, it's not fantastic. The recoil is manageable, and it feels nice, I wont lie. But steady hand is way more consistent with its stability, and even against keep away only has 10 less range. The accuracy from keep away doesnt do enough, since steady hand already has 10 more aim assist, 20 more if you have moving target. My suggestion: don't try to make it into something special. Dont go crazy on range and keep away and go for 100. just build it for stability, small bore steady rounds, and range masterwork. Then skip keep away go for explosive. It extends your range a bit due to the explosive part having no dropoff, and adds 30+% flinch. I found that for me, keep away was a bit of a placebo. The gun to me feels decent without it, and while it's not the best by any means, I think that explosive adds a lot of value by at least making it harder for your opponent as well. I use it with a quickdraw shotgun, as well as reloaded and dexterity mods, and it feels very good, definitely something I could work up to replacing my much more comfortable steady hand if I REALLY liked it. For now it's just a fun, and tolerable option. With icarus grip it gets 37 ae, so I've been jumping more than usual, gotten a few kills with multi consecutive air HEADSHOTS. just about 300 kills so far, and personally I find it is above round Robin, my igneous adept god roll, and my bottom dollar. I think the look and sound also are a mind game too, instantly makes me like this thing, so maybe it's just a bias, but the only thing better to me currently is my steady hand
