Fun fact: 5 and a half years ago Felix watched Klizan play a challenger event (isar open) and now he teamed up with him to play doubles in a challenger event. Time flies
Huge hitting! One thing to work on is maintaining positive body language. You get visibly down when you construct the point well but end up missing a shot or get outplayed by the opponent
Proud of you Felix, it is looking good for you from the ATP helping lower ranked young players. Keep enjoying the sport and compete. From futures to challengers, next stop are masters.
I watched Klizan against Dominic Thiem in Kitzbühel back in 2018, where he knocked out the number one seed and crowd favorite in the first round. It was the best match I´ve seen live so far! And it was also quite hilarious to hear the crowd go completely silent after their tournament-favorite dropped out after the first match. What an amazing doubles-partner to have for your first ATP Challenger Event!
best thing u can do nowadays is get into atp tournys asap because there is no better training as a young kid than playing the big guys. u get used to the top pro level way faster that way which will elevate ur game so much faster. obviously u have to look at ur financials
his financials are probably chillin if he can get his whole family to watch a match and afford mouratoglou and rafa plus his channel is going pretty well which should generate some profits even if he doesn't win a lot
I think I've followed your channel for about a year and a half. I'm amazed at how much better you've gotten! Keep it up! You definitely belonged on the court with the other three.
Dude, you can absolutely hang in the challenger tour. I hope you get some more wildcards, I feel like you could get a deep run if you're feeling yourself. Awesome performance
He competed with them as well which makes it much better. The gap between him and the top guys on tour(excluding top 100 players)is just mentality wise.Playing with a veteran like Martin who was one of the top guys on tour in his prime would've definitely boosted his confidence.
Great. I´m really happy for you, I watch your videos since 3 years now and it´s amazing to see you on such a high level after all the hard work you´ve been putting in :) I´m form germany btw:)
Wow, this was phenomenal play by both teams - just cant believe the skill and hands these guys have, and you were right there, so close! Thanks for sharing - with the way things are going, you'll be winning these matches soon!
Great play, bro! One area in doubles where as a spectator I felt you can improve is being more active on the poaching in the net. Taking more risks in the right times. But clearly I understand the nerves playing on this challenger level and wanting to a play a little more safe.
OMG Felix!...How good was that!!.....You looked like a Challenger natural. That tie-break could have gone either way, with the only difference being Marcus' doubles experience. I saw Martin in the singles on Flashscores, and could believe he's back! Won't be long until you're in the Challenger qualies!
I'm really enjoying following your journey. Keep it up, and best of luck in continuously improving and cracking further and further up the world rankings.
Really watchable. And honestly? Watching those highlights - I reckon you were the more solid player in your partnership! Which is crazy given the pedigree of Klizan.. You made some phenomenal reaction shots and I reckon that first Challenger 1st round win is defo. on course for this year. Good luck.
I use to watch Klizan in his prime, one of the most powerful forehands of all time. His forehand was the deontay wilder one shot knock out blow in tennis.
Hey Felix, love your videos. I want to be just like you playing in tournaments like these. I am 16 and my parents just signed me up for one of my first ever major tennis camps at Texas a&m university. Would love to come in watch you one day. Love the channel and take care!
Wow, this is a big jump Felix! I think this is the first official match you've played against players that I already knew, and all three of the other players on court are guys that I'm familiar with. First match with ballkids, too? You're moving up!
So crazy how doubles is, I love the speed, attacking and short matches doubles displays. I was lucky enough to watch (didn't know who they were at the time) Knowles/Nestor practice against each other.. They're definitely not the best singles players but in doubles they're insane, obviously. Haha Love that you're mixing it up with doubles! Let's go Felix
Good doubles! Contratulations! Was only experience and being played in that made a visible difference! In singles I think you need more weight on the shots from less arm force. On serve such a development was already visible over the last year.
I dont think people realize how insane this is for felix because the challenger's tour is where players get into the atp tour which is really important and ofc make a name for themselves
Congrats! Well deserved after all the hard work! Btw the music while you're explaining the prize money differences is really motivational, you wouldn't happen to know what it's called? :)

Mannarino as the stringer had me dying 😂
me2!
Highlights will be posted on this channel this Wednesday :) !!
Why not just upload it to this channel? It will reach a way wider audience.

Next step is ATP250 level.

What an amazing doubles-partner to have for your first ATP Challenger Event!
Congrats on the amazing milestone!
Your level of tenis is there . Keep playing challengers and thank you for letting us experience what's it like to play professional tennis

Exacrly how sinner found his way through
Jannik Sinner style
How is he going to get into an ATP tournament?? He isn’t getting wild cards
U can't just get into atp tour if u want. You'll need to have a ranking for it or either receive a wildcard
his financials are probably chillin if he can get his whole family to watch a match and afford mouratoglou and rafa plus his channel is going pretty well which should generate some profits even if he doesn't win a lot
Harrison was finalist last week in a 75… so a really good performance against him
I think I've followed your channel for about a year and a half. I'm amazed at how much better you've gotten! Keep it up! You definitely belonged on the court with the other three.

All the way from Nigeria, ur biggest fan is cheering for u, keep going man.
Surprised to see Marcus Willis still playing. You played with/against quite the veterans - that's so dope!
He competed with them as well which makes it much better. The gap between him and the top guys on tour(excluding top 100 players)is just mentality wise.Playing with a veteran like Martin who was one of the top guys on tour in his prime would've definitely boosted his confidence.
Wow new editor is great! Already elevating the videos so much

Wow, this was phenomenal play by both teams - just cant believe the skill and hands these guys have, and you were right there, so close! Thanks for sharing - with the way things are going, you'll be winning these matches soon!

You were so close! But in tennis, the momentum can change in an instant. Keep rising!
The fact that you look at home on the court when such high level players are opposite and next to you is amazing, keep going Felix 👊

Really watchable. And honestly? Watching those highlights - I reckon you were the more solid player in your partnership! Which is crazy given the pedigree of Klizan.. Hey Felix, love your videos. I want to be just like you playing in tournaments like these. I am 16 and my parents just signed me up for one of my first ever major tennis camps at Texas a&m university. Would love to come in watch you one day. Love the channel and take care!

You won 9 games congratulations, Also playing with Klizan former top 25 player must be good experience
I saw you training at the IMG academy earlier this week! Are you going to making a video on that soon?
Amazing....as the skill level of the players goes up, the court seems to get smaller and smaller.
So crazy how doubles is, I love the speed, attacking and short matches doubles displays.
I was lucky enough to watch (didn't know who they were at the time) Knowles/Nestor practice against each other.. They're definitely not the best singles players but in doubles they're insane, obviously. Haha

Great commentary, I think you'll go far with this type of attitude!
Good doubles! Contratulations! Was only experience and being played in that made a visible difference! In singles I think you need more weight on the shots from less arm force. On serve such a development was already visible over the last year.
