Thank you for taking the time to make this video Aiden...you are even helping those who are considering a career change late in life! I appreciate how honest you have been.
I want to be a researcher for all different types of subjects that I'm able to do! Especially when I'm interested in it...like learning the truth of that "subject " , how something works or behaves & why, finding information/leads and clues if the subject I'm researching on is for an investigation, etc... I've been researching on so many things throughout my life just because I wanted to learn more and maybe my findings could help someone else understand that subject more!😲😁 Also wanted to add item/product researching for appraisal purposes! I have helped a few people before find out more about something that they owned and was curious about the value if any and history. I just really just enjoy learning about everything! Experiences in life and random "Did you know?" from others have made my curiosity grow even more!😅 All in all, I love to help others in their situation ,whatever that may be. (😅I hope all that made somewhat sense 😬)
If you look for HCI, Human Factors, Ergonomics programs, you should be able to find the education for it. and I believe they have some bootcamps as well for UX.
Actually, anyone can become a UX Researcher. I know UX'ers who have come from a variety of backgrounds such as psychology, industrial design, marketing, business analysts. There is no one educational background.
There's no specific degree but Psychology is highly recommended because in UX Research, Psychology is applied everywhere and a UX Researcher should have a strong knowledge and background of Psychology.
I'm pursuing Psychology to become UX Researcher! 💖

What educational background do we need to become a UX researcher?
