Wow! Great job getting the spinning wheel working again. I have an old wheel that technically works but could use some repair, and I haven't quite figured out how I want to yet. Seeing yours helps me a lot with getting the nerve up to do so.

Your wheel turned out beautifully! Amazing that you were able to restore your family heirloom. I'm restoring an Ashford traditional from the 80s right now (first wheel restoration) and it feels so nice to give an old wheel new life.

I have the '75 Era Ashford Traditional and the newer one and just got a '65 Era that I am restoring along with a loom. My favorite Ashford is my Elizabeth. I have 9 wheels now and the only one I hot new was my Nano my hubby got me for Christmas last year.
