i love metro but one thing they couldn’t seem to get right was making smooth dialogue where characters don’t talk out of turn or have long awkward silences
There was something so melancholic but also depressing about going back into the tunnels after passing through so many other locations. I guess it's because the Novosibirsk metro is basically all dead and you can't help but feel so utterly alone.
@@orangypteco8858 well u said “melancholic but also depressing”, as if melancholic isn’t already synonymous with depressing. It’s like saying “the soup was almost boiling, but also very hot”. Lol
Metro 2035, the third and possibly final installment was published in 2015. Exodus does not follow the story laid out by Glukhovsky. Actually the only game that somewhat was on track was the original and that's what got me into the books which are by far much better story wise (you can just start at 2034 it's about hunter and a great read). The ending of 2035 is open ended, more may come but so far *SPOILER* 2035 ended with Anya and Artyom leaving the Metro to find other Metros and the story kinda revolves around that.
They confirmed they are in the middle of developing the next installment and another metro universe game spinoff people are thinking will be the outpost game based on the novel. I'm hyped asf
I really wish the game was a little more polished in terms of movement and some of the stealth, absolutely amazing game but a little janky going back to it tbh
The movement from what I can say is actually realistic. Mainly because you wearing a lot of armor for physical protection and radiation protection. So I don’t mind it being sluggish. Stealth is a bit janky but atleast it’s reliable
@@worstthanaveragegamer1041 the entire movement and stealth parts of the engine just feel very outdated, the sensitivity and acceleration are also fucked like the first two
Going back underground was the best part of this game, it's called metro for a reason. Id love a new linear metro game with modern graphics, someday I hope.
Bought this game last week and completed the game today, can't believe I missed out on this game for almost a decade. Can't blame since I never had any gaming platform to play this game until I'm 22 years old to finally afford a PC to play these games, a bit late to the party😂
A bit late to the party and a bit dumb too... Metro exodus was released in 2019... That's five years ago... How tf can you miss out on this game for almost a decade lol
I love the metro games. But it sucks that once you know that the game ending depends on if you kill people when not necessary, there's no more freedom. You're just playing from start to finish where you already know if it's going to be positive or negative. There's no more point. No more mystery. You just go to the end. The excitement of playing uninfluenced and playing on unknown circumstance where you do what you feel like or what seems logical going forward is no longer there.
Eh, I mean it's no different than games like Red Dead Redemption, Dishonored, or Infamous. I feel your complaint is a moot point. Furthermore, there's nothing wrong with playing games that are simply a linear story. The Last of Us is a great example of this.
Holy cow it seems like it was only yesterday that the PS2 was the hot new game console on the market... now we've already jumped to PS5! Time really does fly.
2 things i hate about metro 1) if i kill people gives me bad ending 2) exodus has a really big map to explore and it serves no point other than a headache and sometimes stupid side quests like bring the teddy... Exploring caspian was the worst as it stretched on and on forever
This game is good, but is was the only game I've ever played that I could not aim at all. Prolly me but for the life of me I couldn't shoot straight lmao

the fact that artyom went through hell and back to save anna twice really shows his love for her and miller likes artyom for that.
