Making Waves With Erbe // Make Noise Shared System

Emulating the sound of sea waves, by modulating the decay parameter on Erbe-Verb via a cycling envelope from Maths.
Many environmental fx (wind, rain, thunder, waves etc) can be approximated by manipulating a noise source.
The Erbe-Verb, with it's many patch points, is ideal for this type of sound design.

Cool. Still have the system? If so, do you find the Erbe to be “anemic” ? I remember it taking the balls out of the DPO.

Never found it inherently 'anemic', but depends on how much you dial in I guess. You can get quite a rich reverb with the right parameters, or quite thin and bright. Decent reverb really, although I don't make use of all the crazyness it can do via modulation, I'm more set and forget..

do you have two morphagene's in there or is it a phonogene and a morphagene side by side?

nope just one morphagene, I do still have a phonogene but it's not in the case atm..

how do you sync what youre recording there LIVE with the video you are capturing at the same time, recording the performance into that little portable recorder correct?

I just lined it up on imovie, actually there is annoying small delay between the audio/vid in this one as I didn't do it perfectly, but once it had rendered I couldn't be bothered to go back and adjust it again!
