Always love your videos. I watched this last year and pulled the trigger on the SBDC133. Not disappointed! A few weeks ago, I found an SLA047 for what I thought was a ridiculously low price. So.... Have to say I love having the set! Great review!
I picked this up last week and the green is stunning. Took some photos of it under the sunlight. I'm also surprised how well it wears on my wrist (6.3 inch)
Congrats. Absolutely love mine. Picked up 2 days ago. Tried on a couple aquis and hydroconquest but remember I had those and sold em just not my cup of tea. This seiko was aligned perfectly and just shines. So happy I bought it. 1 of the only watches I ever bought at full msrp and couldn't be happier.

Great video buddy, I got a SPB187 3 days ago and I just don’t wanna take it off, it’s everything I hoped for and yes the bezel alignment is off just enough to make it look like a genuine Seiko! I wouldn’t have it any other way !

Nice. Good, subtle green, unlike Rolex! I think the MM200 is a welcome addition to the range. Great for everyday wear. I know a lot don't, but I actually prefer 4.30 dates. I prefer to keep the symmetry of the quarter markers, especially at night. But then you need a colour matched date wheel... not great for special editions.
Another beautiful watch from Seiko, but I'm really getting tired of the unlimited "limited editions". These are great watches with great colourways, why not just make these "special editions" without limiting the quantity so that everyone who wants one can actually buy them. It's becoming a real turnoff for me with Seiko.

I believe that they are still numbering their limited editions, you just need to know to how many these watches are limited to and in this case 6000 and then check below the limited sign on the back it starts with 0Nxxxx, N should stand for number and the following four digits are your limited number. For instance - 0N3040 which should be 3040 out of 6000. For their top tier prospex wacthes they still have the xxxx/ xxxx way of showing which is your number from the limited edition, however, for the more affordable ones now I think that it will be be shown like this - > 0NXXXX : )
Thank you for your efforts and time spend on this video and all your other video I noticed some white dots/ spots on the dial in different like near seiko printed logo, near 4 o’clock position and other places on dial while taking micro shots for the dial. Last month I purchased a blue limited willard and i do have the same white dots/ spots on the dial of course different locations Are these from dust, sunburst finish defects, or normal seiko sunburst finishing (disappointing)? The problem when you see something, you always see it and my eyes keep looking at these dots even before seeing the time :))
From working on these watches a lot it is mostly dust on the dial, sometimes its dial defects. That is why on my seikos I take out the crown, drop the movement and blow off the dust lol.

I once did that for one of my watches and tried to tight the case back as much as i can (i dont know if this is correct 😅) and did not exposed it to water. For now i took it up to seiko AD and they raised it up to seiko japan Still waiting reply from japan if they going to receive it or not (watch still under Warranty and the AD doesn't have right equipment for pressure testing)

Why do you prefer the sla023 over the SLA047 green version? Are there any design/aesthetic differences or you prefer the blue color? And there is also the SLA039 blue/grey version.
I love blue first of all and I'm not sure I like the new ISO rating Lume pip at 3 o clock for the MM300. It cuts into the chapter ring. Blue grey is impossible to get I believe they only made 300 units.

Sized up for me it's around 170 g it's going to be all relative I usually like to be at 150 or less but I don't notice the difference so it feels pretty good on wrist.
It's strange to have a date without a date frame. Another thing: I wonder why seiko has to put a gold hand with a green dial. Green dials are also great with silver hands.
@@EscapementWatch indeed but my grandfather’s 42years old Seiko 5 is scratched a lot, thus i would prefer the crystal and bezels to be scratch resistant. Deep scratch on the bezel will be too noticeble for such a beautiful watch. Btw The other Seiko 140th edition watches have ceramic bezel and i am surprised that this one not ( may be to lower the price )

7k oh sounds like the AD's are pre-marking them up. Doesn't sound like the right price. they should be 3200USD around there!

In my opinion a gold hand looks much better on green dial than silver and contrasts with the other hands

Yes the mm300 is ceramic and higher grade movement. much higher. but its priced higher.

This is a gorgeous watch and yours is 3104/6000. Similar to the SBDC113, Seiko will stop doing xxxx/xxxx structure on affordable limited editions.

Any watchmaker can regulate it in a couple minutes make sure the watch has been broken in first check out my video on regulation
