go to places where people who want to get asked about stuff dont normally get asked about stuff and you have a goldmine my friend
We’ve accepted Andrew and the crew. What matters is what direction their format is pointing
@@ince55ant one of the things that makes historians jobs difficult is how a lot of stuff in the past that was considered ‘common knowledge’ by different peoples back in the day (household religious practices, folklore, etc) got lost because nobody thought it rare and worth documenting, so I agree with you there.
I wish classes guy would’ve hung around to be a regular on this channel. He really vibes well and added value to the show.
Hemingway, the man that cancel cultured himself
Ahead of the curve as usual
who*
Hemingway even reflected later in life that he was racist towards the Africans while on a safari and tried to change his ways
They said he was an excellent shot.
@@hoggers7572 whoa thats crazy haha
I love how your videos have so much feeling. Dope sequencing and pacing man, thanks for all you do. I would have lived my entire life not knowing about this niche story lol.
Glad to see you guys in Florida, Your live show in Orlando was Amazing!
I’m so happy to see Brace and Andrew together!
"Human kind is not made for defeat. A man can be destroyed, but he can never be truly defeated." -Ernest Hemingway
The strength that phrase has given me over the years can't be overstated. The idea that, as long as I'm alive (i.e. not destroyed), I'm still in the game, has helped me so, so much.
Never give up, because if you're still alive, you're still in pursuit.
Love that you used an image from Xtro at 14:05
I needed some Key West Hemingway action on this rainy snowy Philly day
neeed way more Brace love all the collabs
"Hemingway has a uniquely American message in his work. Because it's... unapologetically optimistic."
Andrew's face at 5:28 killed me. That therapist - hope the view was nice from the hole he dug himself.
I always feel like I'm having a fever dream watching these videos. The last minute of this was hilarious. Very good, please keep reporting the news.
I was not expecting PS4 Confederate Spider-Man in a video about Hewingway look alike contests. That’s the kind of stuff I love about C5 videos: they always surprise you with the most insane shit. 😂
Love the Shriekback Loop (underwater boys) in the background. Keep up the creative 80s soundtracks!
Terrific editing on this one, the sequence of all the average cosplayers, than jeff saying he’s gonna cut loose, to him screaming was so funny. also that little gremlin person you panned down to when talking to the winner was hilarious
"Gremlin person." Moving words
Gremlin person*😂
What a competition. Thanks for another fascinating exposé!
I keep thinking of Randy Feltface's 4min routine on the life and times of Hemmers - what an absolute insane unit of a man Ernest Hemingway was.
5 seconds in, that guy says something stupid and Andrew smirked. That's why I love it.
For the record, the World Economic Forum's HQ is in Cologny, Switerzerland.
Good for all these Santas for taking a break from delivering presents. Soon the nice among us will be seeing them working their butts off.
The man Andrew interviews at 3:28 is actually just the real life Mr. Plinkett
Underrated comment.
Holy shit lol
Bike Guy is a legend!
This was such a good move from Channel 5, I do really enjoy the craziness of certain types of people, and it's nice to see craziness from a different perspective ;p
7:14 - "The Hemingway Society is more like a fraternity" as one of the papas is getting really close and personal with a boy in blue. Great editing!
this part made me laugh out loud
Thanks again for your work, Andrew.... These videos never fail to both enlighten me as well as bring a smile to my face!
Appreciation for the guy at 11:00 I love him so much
The little goblin man they pan down to as the gentleman is talking is quite worth the replay.
Timestamp: 13:28
one more time thanks Andrew & your team for showing us the most interesting folks in America
"What's the biggest bird you've ever seen?" -- he rattles off an answer immediately, and Brace smiles proudly.
i’m the biggest bird
I don't know how or why, but ending it on a "Condor in the Grand Canyon" is powerful.
Sure was a big bird
kid : can we see spider man ?
mom : we already have spider man at home
spider man at home : 9:38
Only Andrew can make an ad that I don't skip. Get the bag man.
“Do you think the devil is real? What’s the biggest bird you’ve ever seen?” A+ questions from the homie 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Condor lol
