Love it when billionaires talk about meritocracy, when their own success in life is certainly not based on having wealthy parents who own emerald mines and that sort of thing 😂
Out of the the amazing individuals, who discovered the connection between hygiene and disease, who found out bacteria promote certain illnesses, discovered the first antibiotic, fought for universal health care, lead countries to democracy and liberty, introduced the rule of law, pushed for compulsory education for all children, including the poor, and so on, and so on... I lived through the Sunk Cost Fallacy with a used car. My dad was a master mechanic and worked in the automotive industry as an executive, so when I needed a high-mileage "junker" to make short weekend trips, I sorely over-estimated my car knowledge and bought a money pit. That stupid $2,500 car probably cost me $8k in the end. It's embarrassing! My point is that even the most clever or knowledgable among us can fall into the Sunk Cost trap.
There certainly seems to be a lot of trying to change the focus to anything but the bad numbers or trying to blame everyone/everything else for what's happening. Not hard to see why so many are debt ridden wage slaves who will likely never get anywhere financially in life.
15:12 probably, Elon Musk are addicted to attention, no matter what, even if he damage his image and alienate potential tesla customers he cannot help himself, the rush he get from attention are simply too wonderful

Depressed Tesla owner here 😵💫😵💫😵💫. Although I had some reservations about Lord Elon in early 2023 when I bought a Model Y, I regarded him as an eccentric billionaire. Things have gotten so much worse since then. There is no way in the world I would buy a Tesla now. I don’t believe I am alone in this sentiment.
If anyone tries to convince you that a stock that currently sits in the hundreds is shooting to tens of thousands in a relatively short amount of time, You are probably super cool to roll your eyes at them. Stocks just don't work that way, I'm not saying they don't grow fast, they do. But, they grow out. It would be dumb to let the price get that high without splitting. There is no currently known likely scenario in which Tesla will "take off" again. Their stable of vehicles has lost their shine as other players have launched while Tesla released 1 new model, and refreshed very little. Tesla isn't the only game in town anymore, it's not even the best game in town. Now all bets are off if Tesla has something that actually works as planned, and can build it at scale. A $10k 4 seater grocery getter would be a good start.
but tsla isnt whatever type of company u called it, it's an ai, robot, robotaxi, data, software, buzzword1, buzzword2 company depending on whats hip right now.
Trump reminds me of our local héroïne addict kindly begging for money. He’s laying sideways on the sidewalk, with his back uncomfortably rested on a shit stained brick wall. But hold on a minute, he’s got that shy tone in his voice, akward smile and that old stained Tim Horton’s cardboard coffee/dirty dish washing water tasting bevrage. It’s as simple as that.
Sorry, forgot to say that even that poor héroïne addict understands that whatever the situation you find yourself in, that’s all it takes for you to raise your chances of getting some of that godly smelling $ bill y’all. I wish every single one of you to have a nice day! Fred
Hey Chris just curious, you planning to grab any Intel stock once it looks like it has bottomed out? Regarding those people trying to massage and kiss Elon's feet as things are crumbling and falling apart It's just seriously seriously sad to see people graveling and worshiping another human being especially one that is clearly completely selfish and couldn't care less about any of these people who have chosen to make him the center of their universe.
Don’t confuse Tesla for Space-X. Whether Space-X gets to Mars or not is irrelevant to what Tesla does. This is how unqualified Tesla investors are to invest, and for many, it’s not their fault. They go down a rabbit hole, probably for technology and sustainability, instead finding Tesla shills, most who make their money publishing content about Tesla, not from investing. When you buy Tesla stock, you are buying shares of a car company. That’s it. That’s where their revenue begins and ends. You’re not buying shares of a rocket company and not even shares of an AI company since Elon spun that off into a separate company (X•ai), and even wants to pull money from Tesla (aka Tesla investors) to fund it, promising some vague benefits by osmosis to Tesla investors. Meanwhile, hypothetically, if X•ai were to become a massive success… and it were licensing its AI capabilities to other companies, Tesla investors would not see a penny of it. In fact, it would be worse. Elon would most likely license it back to Tesla and all of the AI that investors thought would be an asset and ROI, will be a liability and an expense.
Even geniuses like Elon can face failure due to believing they can’t fail can lead to taking unnecessary risks or not preparing adequately. Being brilliant in theory doesn’t always translate to practical success. Difficulty in conveying ideas can hinder collaboration and support. Working alone without feedback can lead to blind spots. Intense focus and work can lead to exhaustion and decreased productivity. Sticking to old methods and not adapting to new information or technologies. Market conditions, politics, or unforeseen events can impact success. 🧐🤔
So, if it´s about Musk, why did people invest in Lucid, Nio, Rivian ... ect? Their CEOs are far less controversial (though I wouldn´t trust Rowlinson as far as I can throw him) and one might argue they are hyping up their company far less but their actual financials look way worse than Tesla.
Actual engineer here. Musk is a technically minded amateur whose understanding is about at the level of popular science. Cut him some slack though, he is just a car salesman after all.
@lexlayabout5757 Yeah, I agree. Musk is the guy who thinks baseball is easy. Once you see the ball over the plate, hit it with the bat to where the fielders aren't. Better still is to hit the ball out of the park and score. 🤣
I agree with your criticism of Musk, however i find your concern about the "AI-generated deep fake video" ridiculous. The video in question is an obvious parody.
@@bartvanderheijden7055 well... I did mention an 'obvious' parody, which makes it unnecessary to label it as such unless one assumes the viewers are dumb as a rock. Invoking a policy meant to avoid misleading the viewers seems nit-picking in this context.
Hey. Been watching your videos recently. Think I left a comment on your last video. Did you get a chance to check out some driving videos of fsd v12.5?

when elon asks the cult to jump, they will reply how high.
They complain about EV myths but Elon is supporting people who are constantly bashing EV's.
What does that even mean? Tesla is only one of a number of EV auto manurfacters.
I too am like, "Are these people for real"? Musk is a fucking weirdo for sure !!!😊😊😊

The Hyperloop is coming next year....😂
Voice of reason in this insanity
If Elon is for free speech, why did he cancel Mr Lemon?
perhaps 'cancel culture' on the right has always been the greater
Canceled white guys for Harris too
Musks talks about free speech but his actions say otherwise.
Here for the Sunday morning sermon. Oh my Elon! 😂
4:30 Tesla's revenue growth has been trailing inflation for the last six quarters. Not to mention gross profit or net income.
The Roadster is coming Next Year... 😂
Any day now! 😜
One thing is for sure, Telsla's crunch will be here by next year.
0:43 if you wonder what the Muskie did with all the bots he was whining about when he was forced to buy Twitter... look no further.
Tesla X files, "I want to believe" 😂
In no way is Musk in the same league of intelligence as Howard Hughes, but I'm wondering if he will meet a similar end.
Imagine telling people to look at Tesla's fundamentals as evidence they are doing well 🤣
Chris, Excellent video that should be seen by everyone👍🏻👍🏻🇺🇸

Stand a cumulative chart of Toyota next to tesla.
Sunk cost syndrome sounds like what some say about the house of mouse & its live action remake of Snow White.

I personally think Musk may try for Texas governor.
Republican ticket for what? President? Musk isn’t eligible - not a natural born citizen of USA.
musk was born in South Africa. He is ineligible to run for president, thank God.
Musk was born outside the USA hence he’s ineligible to become president of the USA.
