We lived in Cheyenn for 2 years and loved it. My husband finished out his 20 year career in the Air Force there. We moved back "home " to Kansas. We miss Wyoming.
I get a happy calming feeling everytime we cross the border into Wyoming! I can't pinpoint why but I really love this state. 😎

It’s always so sad to see the 🔥 devastation across our western frontier. I lived in Colorado for 20 years enjoying those magnificent mountainsides and valleys. 🏔 Please remember those inexpensive national forest fees go towards restoration and comfortable camping experiences for the multitude of folks seeking wilderness adventures. 🏕

if that van that was shown with Arctic Tern windows in the back and sliding door is Ed & Sue... do they have a youtube channel? We have already installed our own Arctic Tern windows into our back doors and about to install into the sliding door and behind drivers seat... I would LOVE to pick their brains and see how they did their install. We have not "finished" our back door panling yet, as we are still just keeping an eye on the windows making sure we have NO LEAKS before we finish it (we did have to tighten one of our windows once so far, so just seeing how the instal does over time is a good idea). I love you guys so much! YOU DO the kind of camping we want to do! I am basically keeping a list state by state of your "bushwhacking" ahead of us, you clear the BEST TRAILS... I can't wait to start our journey! But the van must be finished first! LOL... we have some work to do still!

We are going to wait to email & ask more questions till we come back from a trip visiting our kids before we start drilling more holes in our van walls... I want to be HOME if it is raining for any length of time so I can be checking for leaks. We will have basically the same windows in the same places as they did, and wondering if they did it themselves, or paid, and especially for the back doors did they do anything special for reinforcement since those are slamming doors? I just hope we did it right LOL. Scary to cut the holes, but they work GREAT! Love the windows in the back doors & it works so well with our MaxxAir Fan, the wind tunnel is fabulous.! The way I figured it is if we messed up BIG time we could always replace those doors, or just install the factory type of windows by making bigger holes to fit that.... but all those comments... save those for later :) Just added here in case anyone else wanted to comment here. We love you guys & Roodle!

Oh I love the Poudre Canyon and River. I hope you stopped in Mishawaka Colorado. It is such an adorable little thing and they have this great restaurant and you can sit outside right over a little bit over mostly next to and above the Poudre River and it's not too far before you get to Fort Collins if you take 14 all the way to Fort Collins.

@@oneadVANtureatatime is it true that the beet crops can stink really bad? Evidently they have beets growing up off of highway 76 near Fort Morgan Colorado and they say it smells up there because of the beets.
@@weekendlovinggypsy1737 If they set too long in the summer heat I would not doubt if they smell bad. Fortunately, we are working with the fresh beets and there is not much smell at all. 😎

Yes, the Cameron Peak fire ended up 10 miles from us and ruined 25+ years of our backyard playground ☹️☹️

We are loving our Webasto heater! We have also heard good things about the Proplex as well. Since our heater taps right into the fuel tank and seems to only sip the fuel..I think it's hard to beat. 😎

We are currently near Alamosa, Co. We are here for 2 days then working our way to Sidney, Montana for the beet harvest. We hope to meet you on the road sometime. Not sure if we will get near that 150 mile mark at least at this time. We would love to meet up in the future. 👱♂️👩🐕🎾

The are donating one for a metal health organization in honor of “Lee” (formally Max And Lee) I think they are using the other 2 builds for promotional tools. They were charging 50 dollars per day or 150 for all 5 days. It was a bit dusty but super fun! We look forward to sharing. 😎

Such a beautiful area. Hopefully in a few years all those trees will grow back. I want to head to Cheyenne Wyoming one day and see a rodeo and bull riding. I’ve seen a few TH-cam people heading to that event can’t wait to see what it all about ✌🏼
I have not seen bull riding live since I was a kid..sounds like a good time! The event was awesome, meeting a bunch of nomads from all over the states. Carrie is editing this video right now and we hope to get it out by this weekend. 😎
I was in Colorado last year during the fires. It was scary so we went to the San Juan. That is how we found Silver Jack. Have fun at Gutted and hope to see y'all again. Medicine Bow is a place I hope to visit sometime.

I've traved that area of Colorado, sad to see the fire damage but it will recover over time. I wanted to be at Gutted, but there were other priorities. Another TH-camr/vanlifer that I follow is on the van conversion team. Keeping up with how they are doing on her Instagram page. Have fun and happy camping!
The Gutted Event was awesome! Those guys worked 16 hour days for 5 straight days in a row. They did such a good job. Our dog Roodle just loved the event! He had so many new people and dog friends to play with. He practical dragged us to the big tent every morning 😂😂😂

I caught a glimpse of a yellow leveling block under the tire in this video. I didn't see any on your Amazon store. Do you use the "ramp" or "Lego" style levelers? Got a link?
We have broken a set of the lego style levels and now we are trying the ramp ones. So far these are far superior. They also work great to get us high on a rock if we need to. We bought these at camping world and totally recommend them.

I think I like the look of Colorado a lot better than Wyoming.
Maybe that area of Wyoming but dont give up yet on this state. The Rocky mountains go right through plus there are the Tetons! It's an amazing state with far less visitors than it's southern Neighbor. We love them both. 😎
