Dan and Chris both fought 3 times in movie fights, 2 times in comic con, both won by Chris, 1 time at studio their last fight, which dan won. Dan is salty at losing, Chris is way beyond salty. Both are very similar in attire, their glasses, movie knowledge, even height and I belive around same age too. But I like dan more.
I hadn't watched ScreenJunkies for years but the other week I was thinking about how much I missed Movie Fights, and decided to look for some of the old ones to watch and found your new channel. You were always my favourite on MovieFights and I wish you well with the solo channel. Love this video btw, I'm at around 300 in my collection right now and enjoy seeing the crossovers between my collection and those of my favourite reviewers. Btw, 100% agree on Blindspotting. My favourite film from that year, should have got Best Picture, Actor and Supporting Actor noms for Diggs & Casal.
I go back and rewatch old Movie Fights episodes like I would a favorite TV show haha! I've seen a good handful of the same episodes countless times now.
I started this video and was like, "There's no way I'll finish this." Ended up watching it in two 1-hour chunks with a shower and lunch in between. I just like listening to you talk.
Dan: *mentions a movie i haven't seen* Me: *clicks add to watchlist on imdb* Fun fact: If not for dan, i wouldn't have seen any sidney lumet or billy wilder films. He introduced me to 12 angry men, the apartment, and dog day afternoon, 3 of my all time favorite movies. Thank you dan for all the recs!
Casablanca is my favourite film of all time, so saying I'm happy there are videos coming up about it is quite the understatement. Literally the only YT channel I have notifications on for. Keep up the great work, Dan!
With all of the Gerard Butler love I thought I would share my Gerard Butler story. I worked at an adventure/ theme park in southern California for about a year and one of the main attractions that I operated was a zip line. One morning when I was working the sending tower and a man that thought looked familiar with a Scottish accent went on the attraction with his family. Turns out it was Butler, but that's not the end of my Gerard Butler story. The zip line is right next to one of the mountain biking trails and I saw him riding his bike up and he asked me what trails I would recommend for him. I told him the ones I thought would be good for beginners and which ones were fun for beginners. He thanked me and went on his way, but that's not the end of my Gerard Butler story. About 10 minutes later I see him coming down and yells, "look out the woman behind me is out of control." Seconds later this lady crashes her bike right near the base of the zipline tower. She crashed her bike on the trail higher up and said that when she went to ride again her brakes had disappeared. So Gerard Butler is looking at her bike trying to figure out what is wrong with it when his significant other says, "Gerard honey, are her handlebars backwards?" Turns out that the lady had rode down the remainder of the trail with her handlebars backwards and no brakes. And that is my fun Gerard Butler story.

Coming soon to a nightmare near you, Dan Murrell: Gemma Arterton in Anna Karenina. Your review is due in 30 minutes. Also, agree re Hugh Jackman in Les Miz. Along with Logan, it's best acting performance; both are Oscar-worthy. And great to find someone else who recognises MI:III to be the best of the MIs. I even put things like Army of Darkness under "E" after the first two Evil Dead movies.
Awesome content Dan, as a huge physical media collector, really cool to see your entire collection. I am at about 3,000 film titles plus about 200 television series. One thing I have focused on recently is old Hollywood classics, The Philadelphia Story from Criterion as an example. Do you have plans to collect these older films in the future? Some great companies that are not the main studios that are releasing a lot of these titles include: Criterion, Kin Lorber, Shout! and Olive Films. Again, great content, would love to see more longer form videos in the future!

Dan owning Confidence is the biggest win for me. I've been looking for it on Blue ray as well and it's super difficult. Came out around the same time as Ocean's Eleven.
Actually listened all the way thru. What a great way to decompress from my 3rd night at my new job....while also enjoyeing a 6 pack.... Choose wisely, and believe what you experience can serve you and others well in the future.
That was amazing! Even if Dan Murrell did get to "rehearse" part of this video (due to a tech malfunction) each spurt of dialogue on each item was instructive or interesting or hilarious...or all three. I think that the last piece of physical media I purchased was GotG (first one). Although it is tempting to catch up, the dollars it would take are beyond my entertainment budget limits. Appreciated the on-point cameos by Mara and cat!
Dan we share 97 films in common including 13 Criterions. I blind bought Some Like it Hot because of your conversation with Leonard Maltin and it is now on my top 10 favorite films.
Long videos like this are fun to watch, not just for the contents but I like to see how much the format it breaks down with it it being basically one long free form take. Also that Moonwalker edition looks to be the UK version, since that is the Logo for the BBFC PG rating, it should have BBFC written on the inside of the PG logo
Great collection Dan 👍🏻 1:02:40 Please do review of Pinocchio. Little bit forgotten classic movie in my opinon. One of my favorite Disney movies as well. Take care and stay safe 👍🏻.
nice collection, very few anime actually didn't watch the vid, just listened to you naming the movies, reminded me of some I forgot I had to include in the queue

Cactus Jones 2.0 yes

2 whole hours of talking non-stop...????
You the Dan!
I had shoulder surgery this week and I have to spend 6 hours a day in a passive movement machine and this will knock out one of those sessions! Thanks!
I listened to this while painting a fence. It made the time go by fast! Thanks Dan
Had to watch in 3 parts but so worth it. Thanks for sharing Dan!
THIS REMINDED ME OF A LOT THAT I HAVEN'T WATCHED IN A GOOD WHILE THAT I WOULD LIKE TO REVISIT SO THANK YOU!
Dan we share 97 films in common including 13 Criterions. I blind bought Some Like it Hot because of your conversation with Leonard Maltin and it is now on my top 10 favorite films.
Some of these are definitely going to my Amazon Wishlist.
Also I loved the cat cameos.
These vids are a really great thing to go through and add more movies to my watch list.
That cat was so cute❤️ Great vid Dan!
The fact that I am disappointed by the short run time and he didn't go in depth with each title is exactly why I am subscribed to Dan.
What a great run down. Loved it!
When I saw the runtime I was like oh god and then after 1hr 40 of watching I was still hooked, great video Dan
I watched the whole thing, and it was two hours better spent than a lot of films I've seen. Thanks, Dan.
Great collection Dan 👍🏻 1:02:40 Please do review of Pinocchio. Little bit forgotten classic movie in my opinon. One of my favorite Disney movies as well. Take care and stay safe 👍🏻.
nice collection, very few anime
actually didn't watch the vid, just listened to you naming the movies, reminded me of some I forgot I had to include in the queue
