It costs too much and you screwed up with the 4cyl turbo engine. My neighbors new tacoma had its engine replaced at 8000kms. Toyota realiability is no more. The tundra recall is an example. Full engine replacements
I love the 4Runner SR5 in blue or red, I am strongly considering upgrading from my 2022 Tacoma SR5!
You can't go wrong with blue or red! They both stand out on and off the road. We are excited to see what you decide!
I say do it,but just get one with a V6 at least,these new 4-cylinders don’t seem like they’ll last. If I’m not heavy on the gas with my stock 2005 Limited V8 2WD, it can get around 23 mpg on the freeway,17 in the city,with 29 mpg being my record on a flat highway going 40 in traffic without drafting. Think about it.

Many will not be smart enough to get a Bank loan... Why is Toyota going 9%+ only on 4Runners? Because they need cash flow, there lots are full of Tacoma and Tundra's not selling.
what a generic commercial and an embarrassing Toyota product. Test drove this thing and man does it sound fragile like a nissan rogue rental with that drone sound getting ready to fall apart. Pricing at 50k plus is criminal for the way this was made. Toyota could have done way better considering how long we waited for this new generation. Toyota is no longer the value in my book. Someone ate Spaghetti and threw up to create that engine. What a mess. I have a Shiftpower plug in my 18' 4Runner, app set to 35%. I don't understand how people are SO stupid, the 4Runner V6 was programmed to be sluggish from the factory but its easily fixed. It takes $200 and 10 minutes to install the plug into your gas pedal and you no longer have a sluggish' V6, it rides and gives power like it should have, it was never an engine problem, it was a programming problem. Oh also it doesn't have trouble over mountains now either.

Sorry but Toyota has overstepped. Going the way of Jeep, no longer rugged and reliable vehicles. Over priced and overcomplex, expensive to maintain. Completely opposite of what Toyota used to be.
