you can stall on walls by activating crystal dash and deactivating it before you actually get launched, which gives you the wall cling type hitbox that you can use to get by some of the sawblades, like you did with mantis claw but without sliding down
also hiveblood can help if theres ever an area without a totem where u dont get enough soul

Path of bread truly is something else man, took me over an hour on my first attempt. Btw that fluke at the beginning was just insane, you literally went full on god mode for a second there xd
I love Path of Pain so much… I remember doing it 1 or 2 times, without finishing it at first, just to progress, then sitting down on a Saturday for 9hrs straight playing it. What I did to pause or take a breather is not leave the game but just.. pause it and eat and then go back. What mostly helped me is searching up “path of pain” in youtube just to see how others did it. fireborns video kinda helped me out he’s very smart

Path of pain wasn't that bad luckily, because of all the checkpoints and soul fountains, white palace was definitely more painfull because of how little you were allowed to take damage.

Bro I took a shower after this video, and halfway through I thought I heard something and I swear to god I was hearing the path of pain song on full blast
The worst part of PoP was the fact I died to Kingsmoulds 3 times.
Took me roughly 1 hour to get to the last room and roughly 5 to finally get it
no bench at the end of path of bread, a shame

You know, there’s an infinite amount of universes, an infinite amount of timelines, an infinite number of parallel dimensions. An yet, despite the infinite amount of possibilities, and the fact that anything that can happen, has happened, Silksong doesn’t exist in any of them.

Time to relate my experience :)
You actually did it far faster than me, I took way too long for room 1 part 1 (I'll use r#p#), but something you missed entirely that would have made your life far easier is cdashstall. Just continuously use cdash to not fall from walls and not put yourself at risk with claw.
Then it was room 2, took a while, I actually died to r2p2 because of the lack of totem, and also struggled a lot with r2p4, but for r2p4.1 (It isn't a checkpoint so yes) it was easy because of cdash strats, using cdash on the upper saw to skip half the room, and then exit before it hits you.
Then for room 3, it was easy, at leas part 1, because of side saw pogo, on the part you have to go left to climb you can just use the saw that moves really up to pogo on it's side and reach the ledge, and importanly cdashstall. And r3p2 took me a while, mainly the second saw jump on the thorn tunnel. And well, final room is final room. What do I say, kingsmolds easy and win. I felt really happy.
About the video, it was really good, but 20 mins felt a bit too long for the subject, and I skipped what I felt was boring, but still watched. Aside of that, good job.

I quite literally have have ptsd of path of pain... 🤣 When I first saw it it really felt like my heart sank to the bottom. It was a kinda mixture of fear and just sadness 🤣 When I finally beat it hours later I can't describe how happy and dead inside I was 🤣 Now I get high blood pressure by only even hearing the music... still worth it 🤣

You know, I actually found Path of Pain easier than regular White Palace, because you can only lose progress by quitting out.
That last part always gets me too but when I would finally make it I would just die to the kingsmoulds 😭

yoooooooooo, the yoshi's crafted world slander wasn't necessary D: When I need a break from hollow knight HELL, I play yoshi on easy mode (mofo literally grows wings for RELAX platforming) and I feel better :)
I mean yoshis crafted was definitely charming and I love the literal 'art' style, but it was really annoying to 100% it😭 I still did it though, because it was also kinda satisfying seeing everything with flowers. Love hate relationship with that game

i did kinda shot myself in the foot by making my nail so long i'd hit the thorned ceiling and leaving no charms left for shaman stone, what could've prevented me from almost dying at the end, but still, it was pain
