I'm 54 and my wife and I are VERY worried about our future, gas and food prices rising daily. We have had our savings dwindle with the cost of living into the stratosphere, and we are finding it impossible to replace them. We can get by, but can't seem to get ahead. My condolences to anyone retiring in this crisis, 30 years nonstop just for a crooked system to take all you worked for.
I feel your pain mate, as a fellow retiree, I’d suggest you look into passive index fund investing and learn some more. For me, I had my share of ups and downs when I first started looking for a consistent passive income so I hired an expert advisor for aid, and following her advice, I poured $30k in value stocks and digital assets, Up to 200k so far and pretty sure I'm ready for whatever comes...
@@Alethia-q9s The crazy part is that those advisors are probably outperforming the market and raising good returns but some are charging fees over fees that drain your portfolio. Is this the case with yours too?
Some of the towns you names are on the FBI list of the most violent towns in America. Please research the crime rate before telling people places are a good place to live. If the cost of living is too low it is cheap for a reason.
Before you think about moving to these communities, please do your research! There’s at least some of these cities (Lumberton, mount Airy just to name a couple) have higher crime! They have lower costs for a reason. I know all cities have crime but take heed!
Careful with rockingham and lumberton and Laurinburg. Although cost of living is probably some of the lowest in the country , wages are also low and they are definitely not growing areas
Henderson too because they have an exceptionally high violent crime rate. I don't think people who make these videos really do research on these towns. Anything Fayetteville and south is going to be dangerous as well as some counties north of Raleigh towards the Virginia border.
Lumberton & Henderson have a much higher than average crime problem and their economy is below average. Might be cheap to live there, but it’s not the safest places to live!
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 that AI generated intro though.... LOLOLOL Tarboro is most certainly not NC's oldest town fyi. most of these places aren't places where most people would wanna move sight unseen. they can have charm but as a NC native i can't say i'd recommend most of these.
North Carolina isn’t it! I mean Wilmington is nice and the mountains are nice and Charlotte is decent but everything else sucks. Raleigh is trash small boring. Raleigh is by far not a big city. Durham has culture. Most of NC is impoverished especially eastern NC. Henderson is a hell no it’s so dangerous like Rocky Mount Fayetteville Lumberton. NC is also extremely prejudice so don’t get it twisted and think everyone is welcomed here (yes Raleigh is included). The people in NC I find are very shallow ( not so bright) and avoid deep conversations with people. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve made some friends but usually with people from other states. Now this is the real NC.
Hendersonville is a great place to retire, not much else. Cost of living/housing is pretty high compared to the rest of the state and the area can be rather boring unless you’re a nature or hiking enthusiast.
However; Henderson is not a safe place to live. Hendersonville is the mountains in the west and Henderson is in the eastern part of the state. They’re often confused,

@@smadd3505Lumberton, Rockingham, ,Laurinburg, Henderson to name a few
This person obviously doesn't know what they're talking about because most of the places they featured is definitely on the DO NOT MOVE TO LIST

Henderson, nc was traveling backwards.
I'm shocked at this video. Most of the places you named are on the do NOT move to list. Crime, poverty, etc.
Thank you for sharing this with us. I am looking in a Year to move to NC or VA.😊
Same! Either NC or VA, good luck!
Notice nothing is said about crime in these cities?
8:35pm nothing about financial centers, universities, or teaching medical schools overall a poor selling tool😕
As someone from NC, this list ain’t it
Lumberton & Henderson have a much higher than average crime problem and their economy is below average. Might be cheap to live there, but it’s not the safest places to live!
Just moved to Eden sept 23. I was in Va. This is like Mayberry in future lol some rhings good some bad.
i know its not in the video but its a nice city with affordable rent and clinton is between Wilmington and Raleigh
I might want to add that and a 12th one to a video like this with more details and pictures!
Bath is the oldest town in NC. Not Tarboro.
Why are the vehicles going backwards in Henderson? 3:45
These cars are backing out of town as fast as they can to escape the high crime rate!
I’m buying 10 acres in cherryville, nc.
Asheboro is an look like a nice town but I choose Charlotte
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 that AI generated intro though.... LOLOLOL

Snobby Tarheel fans. LOL LOL LOL
True fact: Everyone in Henderson drives backward 3:45
Please, please do your own research before making a terrible mistake in relocating.
Learn how to pronounce the names of the cities…
The reason its inexpensive is because there arent many places to work that pay well.

Hear, hear. Lots of poverty in North Carolina. Yes, I love the Wilmington area and their beaches and the OBX. Charlotte is too overrun with people.
