My fiancé introduced me to Korean skincare products (big bearded dude btw) and now I’m a snail mucus skincare bro. That being said it’s still CHEAP relative to this!!!

Former Nu Skin seller here. I joined because I liked the products and it was free to join. I didn't mind doing it. I knew I wasn't going to set the world on fire selling. However, I stopped when they started telling me what I could and shouldn't post on my personal page. "You shouldn't be divisive and talk about politics. You could alienate people." There was also the whole message 50 people a day thing that I hated. Then my upline started posting a ton of anti vax and nonsense and that was okay, but me speaking about how science is a good thing wasn't? I stopped selling immediately. Not only that, but the cost of products started skyrocketing. I love some of their products but I'm not spending $40 on a body butter.
I’m technically still a distributor right now but I’ve stopped promoting anything. Wondering who your uplines were? And I agree about the prices.. I want to say they increased prices 2-3 times last year alone!
I hate to break it to you, but the products that you seemingly promote which are created by big pharma and promoted as “science”, are anything but. It’s all to do with big bucks, and big pharma hires it’s own scientists to create many bias studies. That’s how that whole thing works:
You can imagine how they have to tread after so many people are trying to scam the system - and they paid for it. Integrity and values are things that have to be searched. I think about it from a business owner's perspective - any service or product someone represents on my behalf must be done according to future guidelines to avoid further lawsuits. I do have to question your team lead; it seems impossible to message 50 people a day or even request such a thing. I encourage everyone doing business to keep their personal and business sites separate. I wish you a good experience in any future endeavors.
It’s always so insane to see you use articles from the company I used to work at… though tbh we had all the insights on lawsuits that the fda was looking at (fda insiders are top tier) so I’m also super happy you use them💕 Regardless thank you for being incredible and insightful. With much love, Emmalee✨
They're so annoying they pretend they're not from nu skin and approach u through instagram dm and once u become friendly they want to meet u then take u to these shady ass place then u realize it's mlm
After reading comments from previous NU Skin sellers - They've changed their system, you can create your own content of the product, you can post whatever you want of the product (on your page) and they never said or showed anything about messaging or writing a specific script to cold message. you approach, they have choice of wanting to join or just buy the product they don't have join. 😊
Let the buyers or tryers come and get their preferred skincare. I was just scanning the online stores yesterday and few days ago, I saw boots or shoes prices ranging $200 above - below, and I'm thinking if I can buy that shoe for that, why not for my bodycare too?
I actually learned about the cold script in this video. They might have it, but they do not encourage or enforce it. Everyone is encouraged to do as they wish as long as it meets the company guidelines.
OH MY GOD. ok, I'll start kinda at the beginning (and it's crazy i found this vid a yr after forst posted). A good "friend" of mine suggested i try marketing Nuskin. The "training" moved super fast and i wasmt keen on buying a bunch of products until i started more of a customer base. Right away they also wanted me to scout downlines. Anyway, anything i did trying to get started on social media, i wasnt doing it proper. I kinda gave up. Later that yr, she sent me an xmas card and life update but it felt kinda like a breakup. We've barely spoken since she moved out of state. This past wk, she posted on FB about feeling bad for a bunch of similar companies all coming up in hot water. So, today i come across your vid... and about halfway in, you're talking of the sucess trips- and my she has won a few now. Her and her now husband are literally in the clip from the trips.... never thought I'd see that. I do worry that one day, she won't have as easy a time if theres a mess.
I just bought two of their products. One I was already trying called Skin Filter and moisturizer in capsule form. I have been using the skin filter for almost a month now but hear it can take up to 6 months to notice results. I took them for a week straight but had to discontinue because I had to be hospitalized. Here's to hoping it works
Thank you so much for sharing. I started the company, sold a bulk box and did everything you were mentioning and feel I am stuck and want to switch teams and just feel lost, watching this video Thank you!
I have been with Nuskin for just over 12 months, I am doing good with it. It sounds like you don't have a supportive mentor tbh. More then happy to chat with you to offer some assistance x
Who are these smaller sellers, that match NU Skin quality? I am truly interested! In a society where most products are actually more toxic than beneficial, I am super interested in truly good quality products that elevate us. Look forward to your response. Thank you.
The Lumispa is the best thing I have encountered. Today, I went to the Spa to get a deep facial - I left hurting because of the brush used. I told the young lady that she should get a Lumispa, it is better for her clients.
In an MLM system you are an independent entrepreneur and not employed. The same as if you become self-employed with whatever business you have, you have a financial risk. You have the chance to make money but no guarantee. If you don't do anything as a self-employed person, you don't get anything. As an employee, you receive fixed money for your time and work. Every self-employed person will know how much time you have to put into a company and sometimes also have to pre-finance before you get something out of it. Many are not suitable for this and feel more comfortable in a permanent position. The advantage that you have with such companies is that there is already a brand presence, marketing material, etc. that can support you. And there is an opportunity (even if only for a few) to really make a lot of money.
Ugh this was the mlm that caught me, but I will say the lumispa I still use 8 years later but defo wouldn’t buy anything else and got out after a few weeks and haven’t thought of their products since apart from using the lumispa. In my defence I was just getting into skincare then so hadn’t seen anything like that ❤
What is wrong with her using the product or liking the company? This video is an opinion, and it is needed to help others see what people believe about products or companies. It is encouraged for every company. The difference is that MLM is the main target, not big industries. Trust me, I get it. I have tried various options, and the whole thing about a minimum requirement on a monthly basis is an issue. There is a company that I love the products, but I had to stop buying them because of a mandatory requirement. But it has been the best product for my allergies and asthma. This is a client for every target. As the opinion and length of time watched in this video and purchase of Aura is for this channel.
I have been with NuSkin for just iver 12 months and am loving it. Whilst this was very informative it's not everyones experience. There's never any pressure to grow in rank by recruiting it's solely up to the individual. There is so much room to just recommend the products and be rewarded nicely for that 😁 The products & devices are reasonably priced and do what they say they are going to do. Perfect for salon quality with the at home beauty devices. My skin has never been better.
You know what doesn't make sense to me Is that ppl think MLM's are actual jobs Hunny if you gotta pay to work somewhere , it's a scam lol No job will ever ask you to pay and lose more money to keep the job
It’s not really though as the head needs replaced every couple of months and you need to buy the products to use with it! They just want to hook you in and keep you buying!
When you consider it that way, then every business is pyramid scheme. In a "normal" job your boss is earning more than you, your bosses boss is earning more than him .... And they profit from your labour... Is like in the comments said- this is your own choice to use cold messaging, if you prefer to work differently - you do it. Is a bit not fair and one sided when you criticise an idea of a business and you don't allow the other side to make a statement. Regarding lawsuits, every big company have them. I work for an airline since 18 years.... do you have an idea how many lawsuits were filled against my employer from former employees or customers? Sometimes the issue wasn't the company policies, just the human factor ( somebody wanted to fill more valued that they should, and I mean by that - they wanted to be superior and autocratic towards the customer or the employee). So if the model business doesn't suit you, just don't do it and stop criticizing it - just because....
dude, your lost... MLM is not same as regular job and positions.. its always shitty products to sell and they push u to make certain amount of sales and there's tons of manipulations that goes on. I know because I work in sales
I think it's as simple as - You sell = you earn, You don't sell = you don't earn. The numbers are made of all distributors, active or inactive. Even those, who don't want to built a business, they just sell for few friends or family with no desire to make a living out of it.
I’m a nuskin rep :) if you’re not putting in the work you’re not going to make money lol. I make money and it’s helped with soooo many things for my family of 6. It’s not the “go to work, sit on your butt, barely do anything and still make a paycheck” that most people (Gen Z) want these days bc they’re privileged. I’ve used the products for longer than I’ve been a rep and they have transformed my skin and several of my friends and family 🤩 we have our own team of scientist and clinical studies, with our newest device being FDA approved. There is NOTHING like the Lumi. It’s the #1 device world wide.. we have many awards on our products bc they are that good!!!!
Exactly I’ve made $600 easily with Nuskin on the 1 month I’ve been with them it’s all these people who don’t wanna do the work an would rather do the bare minimum an live at a 9-5 that have the biggest thing to say!
I just started … I purchased 1300 in products ( of my choice ) was not pressured into anything. It all felt so genuine and I’d like to think it still is because I plan to use so many of these products daily. Are they safe to use ? I didn’t research before because I’m very trusting in my mentor. But I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t a bit nervous now
I have been with Nu Skin for 7 years and I love it! Be consistent and don't give up. The products are amazing! Nu Skin have 75 in-house scientists that is PhD or above.
I have been with Nuskin for just a month and I’ve been paid $600 I plan to stay consistent there supplements have changed our life cured my daughters skin condition that was told from doctors was non curable that’s Meta! you don’t know how good it is until you take it. At least Nuskin pay people to sell there products esp for stay home mamas how many times have we recommended a products or tell people where to buy it you don’t get paid for that
Even if you buy products off the bat you get paid commission straight away you doing to much, your saying your digging because your digging for something that isn’t there People give up so easily because they don’t wanna do the work they just want the treats but not do the work
someone from nu skin approached me saying something about looking for candidates to work together, expanding the business and stuff. I'm so confused because I have no background nor the experience working in that industry so I'm kind of suspicious. She asked for my contact number and suggest arranging a zoom call. Should I be concern about this?
I remember getting into Nu Skin years ago. Didn’t spend money with them. I joined mainly because I thought it was a good way to learn sales… yeah. Nah. They told me to lie. And didn’t even teach me shit. Then I asked my mentor about it. And he was like… do you know how to win in MLM? You either start the company or you get in early.
I’ve been watching all your videos lately. They’re very fun but informative. My chiropractor sold Nuskin and displayed it in her office to buy. She did this for Doterra too. She’d have meetings to get to know essential oils that I assume were run by the hun. Or she was a rep and hired someone to recruit people. This lady was our their. In her office she’d do this thing where you’d hold something electronic in your hand like a sensor. Then it would report what vitamins you were lacking. This was before I knew that mlms were bad but all the sales pitches made me uneasy. I don’t go to any chiropractors anymore.
I’m so glad I saw this video! A coworker of mine put some samples of Nu Skin products into a white elephant gift bag that I got. I actually really liked one of their Hydro gel creams, but when I went to the website to purchase it, the price was outrageous! Now, seeing that it is a pyramid scheme, I’m so glad that I didn’t purchase the product. Thank you as always for your educational videos.
I joined skin about 2 years ago and sold a few products but did not make even a single commission because I did not hit a target to earn commission so I left
also, I work for Nuskin and have never paid a penny for the trips I have earned- i have earned 4. Not one penny have I spent. Also, I have never been encouraged to cold call- they give us ideas to get people going - for people like me who have had zero experience with sales. When I worked at a bank, i was given things like this. when I was a school teacher, they gave us ideas on how to get going on conversations with parents. That is just training. I agree with many things you said but do like to share the truth for how i have experienced things
@tarrahlancaster7438 Right, but working at a bank or as a teacher you're paid an hourly wage or a salary, plus bonuses or commissions. I have ppl close to me involved with Nuskin, and they definitely hustle and make money, but it's on the backs of their downline and they're constantly trying to recruit to add to their team so they can maximizing their earnings. It's not the same as a regular job.
i guess i just don't mind my upline making money off me because I'm making money- i'm just glad i'm making good money and don't focus on them- guess everyone feels differently about it. i was a teacher for 18 years and this is way less work than when i was teaching and the same amount of money. I felt so run down and used as a teacher and never had the oopporunity to make any more no matter how many hours i put it in. I guess it's for some people and not for others but i could care less that my upline is making money off me- good for him but GOOD for me :) @@kellykountouris7193
Love this , hope more and more people can be protected including the poor people that get pulled into them. I’m an older demo for you but, remember scentsy and pampered chef?? Even beck then I knew they were suss. 😂
I'm so glad to see more people talking about Nuskin. My cousin is a top hun in the mlm- I can't say anymore as to the area she's over because it's huge and she can be pretty easily found with a Google search. But it literally pains me that she's doing this, that she's scamming *so many* people, that she uses her own very young children to advertise the business including posting embarrassing and even disturbing photos of them to get attention and she is using the products on them. And then there's the fact that she claims she's manifested her wealth but also that her money was a reward from God for her faithfulness... When really the truth is that she has hundreds of people slaving away in her downline making nothing. Seeing that someone I love and grew up with has turned into a liar and a scammer who exploits her children and tricks people into working for free to support her income is really upsetting and painful tbh. Just as bad is that I can't even speak out about it to anyone outside of my immediate family (parents and siblings) because the extended family is really uneducated about mlms and they're so, soooo proud of my cousin and enjoying the perks of having a wealthy relative. They think she's this incredible sales woman who started a franchise business and is just this self made incredible example when she's really just a hard working scammer who got lucky. Uhhhhhgggg I hate it. Even my parents were super proud of her and impressed by her "business ownership" but thankfully they listened when I explained what mlms are and how they work and now they're just as disappointed as I am. But we all have to just keep our mouths shut 😫
I feel like Nu Skin missed the mark by not going bio. Why would I pay for "natural" skincare but the ingredients are not bio?! This makes no sense financially.
100% tell me a doctor that can cure my daughters vitilgo skin condition, absolutely non! meta supplement brought my daughters skin colour back an help a lot with cancer patient’s who lose a lot of blood count due to them being destroyed during chemo, the products work but everyone wants something for almost nothing that’s why they always go snooping for loop holes if they have been around 75ys what does that say about nu skin
I am started my Nu Skin business 15 years ago, and thanks I am fine...the products saved my life, and I have lot's of partners who making really amazing money, I have 2 people in my organization who made more than 1 Million dollar...the third is coming soon , so sorry, but MLM is great but not for everybody..like success...
@@emyf9197no I am not a bot, just a business man, who understood this business! this month the 3rd person is gonna be recognized as a million dollar member in my team! So thanks I am still fine...
A Nu Skin rep had my mom "juice" for her a few months ago. My mom posted a fake before and after for them and then all the reps downline commented on it saying how much they loved it. My aunt asked if it was a scam and I said yes, the business opportunity is. The rep commented and said something along the lines of "wow you must want to learn more, I'll DM you! I bet you'd love to go on free vacations too!" That's set me off. I sent 2 full comments with paragraphs on why the business opportunity is a scam, citing specific percentages from the Income disclosure and literally every reason I could think of. I posted all my sources too. I literally maxed out the character limits. I even looked up her rank and posted it for others to see that she didn't even barely make a livable wage even though she was in the top percent of the company. I was proud. She didn't respond 😂
Is it me or her voice really annoy people? Everything is “in my opinion, from my perspective..big red flag here big red flag there…problem problem problem…” uhhhhhgggg give me a break man…

Welcome to the club, I quit too
@@ZNARCI Money hungry, I rather go back to avon better prices and better products
My uncles company is a direct competitor of nu skin and so we always called them nu scum growing up 🙄 oh childhood memories
What’s the name of your uncles company? :)

It’s always so insane to see you use articles from the company I used to work at… though tbh we had all the insights on lawsuits that the fda was looking at (fda insiders are top tier) so I’m also super happy you use them💕
Regardless thank you for being incredible and insightful. With much love, Emmalee✨
What they are really saying in the average earnings is “qualifying”. I’d like to know what percentage of people actually qualify.
They're so annoying they pretend they're not from nu skin and approach u through instagram dm and once u become friendly they want to meet u then take u to these shady ass place then u realize it's mlm
I was just watching an older video and now there's a new one 🤧 we're truly so lucky here lol
@@JULALAINEbecause body care isnt worth 200 dollars and either are shoes ..
OH MY GOD. ok, I'll start kinda at the beginning (and it's crazy i found this vid a yr after forst posted).
Hope your skin will do well. Btw what happened? My face got chicken pox way back 2015? Will use some soon to remove the old skin
Who is your team lead? It seems you need some support. Let me at them. LOL
Not going to lie, I got the lumi spa and my skin has never looked better. Because of your videos I try and buy from smaller sellers.
Love the time stamps
It is literally having people hustle your shit without having to pay them for their work.
I think most of the ppl in mlms would be better off just starting their actual own business than wasting money in these bs companies.
Would love a tutorial for this make up look. Flawless 😊
I absolutely love the makeup you’re wearing! Just absolutely stunning
Ugh this was the mlm that caught me, but I will say the lumispa I still use 8 years later but defo wouldn’t buy anything else and got out after a few weeks and haven’t thought of their products since apart from using the lumispa.
In my defence I was just getting into skincare then so hadn’t seen anything like that ❤
Wow your videos have improved a lot. I am entertained when I watch u
I never get tired of your vids
OMG OMG !! since finding your channel I hoped you covered this I was in it 😮😮& didn't even realize it was mlm till your videos
Ohhhh your lashes, so in love. Please share from where! 😍
My local politician’s wife is a hun for this MLM it’s so cringe.
Thank you, you saved me at the last minute.... good thi g I looked into it
I have been with NuSkin for just iver 12 months and am loving it. My skin has never been better.
u sound like a bot or an employer from the company
I'm with nuskin but just for the products my skin does look great from the lumi spa. But I don't really buy much else.
How long have you been using it?
What about the renu thing? Looks too good to be true
You know what doesn't make sense to me
Is that ppl think MLM's are actual jobs
Hunny if you gotta pay to work somewhere , it's a scam lol
No job will ever ask you to pay and lose more money to keep the job
damn, one of my close friends just send me a link to be his "brand affiliate"😂
so many different names to the same buisness model aka pyramid scheme
Not me watching this while my mom is using that lumispa blue cleanser thing in the bathroom, thankfully its a onetime purchase but yeah
It’s not really though as the head needs replaced every couple of months and you need to buy the products to use with it! They just want to hook you in and keep you buying!

I don’t understand why it has to be complicated to know how to make money. It’s just insane
I fortunately have a friend who is knee deep into this business and even her husband can’t talk her out of it. 😢
Is it working for them? If so, why would you want to talk them out of it? And if not, let them enjoy the journey.
@@j.a.k7697 not really. She needed to have a second job. Always reaching out to ask friends to buy her company’s products and joining
re-watching this video as I am starting to see Nu Skin popping up in my area in Australia.
Exactly!!! People wanna earn for doing nothing
I remember passing the NuSkin building in Provo growing up
Girl that lipstick is so pretty on you!❤
I’m a nuskin rep :) if you’re not putting in the work you’re not going to make money lol.
How's your income there? What's your pin title and also are you making a real profit?
I have been with Nuskin for just a month and I’ve been paid $600 I plan to stay consistent there supplements have changed our life cured my daughters skin condition that was told from doctors was non curable that’s Meta! you don’t know how good it is until you take it.
At least Nuskin pay people to sell there products esp for stay home mamas how many times have we recommended a products or tell people where to buy it you don’t get paid for that
Even if you buy products off the bat you get paid commission straight away you doing to much, your saying your digging because your digging for something that isn’t there
People give up so easily because they don’t wanna do the work they just want the treats but not do the work
Researching as someone is trying to get me to sign up as an affiliate for this product line. She sent me a link but I have not filled it out.
someone from nu skin approached me saying something about looking for candidates to work together, expanding the business and stuff. I'm so confused because I have no background nor the experience working in that industry so I'm kind of suspicious. She asked for my contact number and suggest arranging a zoom call. Should I be concern about this?
There's nothing to be concerned about when being invited to a zoom call,it's just to get you on a business briefing no strings attached
Love the shirt you made!
I love the shirt!
THANK YOUUU
I’m so glad I saw this video! A coworker of mine put some samples of Nu Skin products into a white elephant gift bag that I got. I actually really liked one of their Hydro gel creams, but when I went to the website to purchase it, the price was outrageous! Now, seeing that it is a pyramid scheme, I’m so glad that I didn’t purchase the product. Thank you as always for your educational videos.
I joined skin about 2 years ago and sold a few products but did not make even a single commission because I did not hit a target to earn commission so I left
You got scammed by someone other than nuskin..I sold one product and got my comm immediately!!!
Me too… plus no one would reply to even my texts because they were afraid I was trying to ‘sell’ my products
Just a few questions, if you dont pay to join, is it still mlm? If they trade on the stock exchange or they a mlm?
New here, just curious
How about companies in general- all businesses make the most money at the top, right?
also, I work for Nuskin and have never paid a penny for the trips I have earned- i have earned 4.

Do the products work or not?
100% tell me a doctor that can cure my daughters vitilgo skin condition, absolutely non! meta supplement brought my daughters skin colour back an help a lot with cancer patient’s who lose a lot of blood count due to them being destroyed during chemo, the products work but everyone wants something for almost nothing that’s why they always go snooping for loop holes if they have been around 75ys what does that say about nu skin

Your makeup is gorgeous🌸 Nu Skin is such a scam. I see them advertising job opportunities all the time🤦🏾♀️
A Nu Skin rep had my mom "juice" for her a few months ago.
