finally! I saw a real tweeter-speaker wiring tutorial... Very well explained. Keep it up man!. Can you also put a link of an image of both Female harness? thank you.
hi i had noticed that the tweeter input of this is different with the 604c, this is the male head which is as same as the normal speaker but the tweeter for 604c is a female head right?
Thanks for this but please may i ask something.. my Car have (2 +) and (2 -) on the door for stock speaker and (1 +) (1 -) for the stock tweeter do i need to plug in all those 6 cables to the crossover input??
Hi. For input, can I connect directly to my Head unit output? For example headunit front speaker output directly into crossover input, then from the crossover output, 1 to left woofer and 1 to left tweeter. Is my connection correct?
For input cable, can i use one of the tweter cable or the midbass cable to connect to the crossover ? Or i have to connect the crossover input to head unit speaker cable ?
@@ym-qz6cc How did you connect your speakers? I think if a car has a factory component tweeter+midbass setup, the original crossover is located combined to either the tweeter or in the woofer. In my toyota the crossover is at the tweeter so the tweeter has 4 wires, and the door woofer has only 2 wires coming to it, but the problem is that those wires are running through the original crossover. So in my case what I need to do is to connect the new crossover to the wires that come from headunit to the tweeter, so that the aftermarket crossover would receive the full, unprocessed signal. then run new wires from crossover to new woofer+tweeter, or you can tap into the original wirings in the door however you like
I have the same setup but i have 2 wiring looms from original .. 1 to speaker 1 to tweeter. I installed it correct but if i play my music list on a higher volume the speakers go on protection and stops the music for maybe a second ... its like if the music is going on mute and its coming back after a half of a second ... do you or anybody know these problems ?
