Magazine is designed for 7 round capacity. You can fit 8 rounds, but the pistol won't cycle because of the upward pressure against the bottom of the slide. Keep the slide rails slightly lubricated including the slide spring levers and slide spring lever grooves (2ea). The underside of the barrel should also have a light coating of gun grease. Also important to keep the magazine internally clean and lightly lubricated.
Thank you. She does need a little love in the grease area. Ever rip a full mag. It's pretty satisfyingly for a little pistol. Did you have any cycling issues with ammo? I have found the CCI Stingers run real nicely.
I think it has to do with a magazine disconnect. I just checked the website in Mass for complaint pistols. It's not listed there. Massachusetts Approved Firearm Roster will tell you all the mass complaint guns.
@@itmeng Mass is so backwards. I'm so glad I moved out of the state. 10 round magazines are the limit. NH is a great state if you love having no gun laws.
I recently found at a local gun store Beretta bobcat 22 in mint condition manufactured in the 1990s apparently the owner must have fired it once and stored it in his sock drawer just mint .. beautiful blue steel with light colored Walnut grips mine is a special model .. instead of the forever logo on the grip the gold medallion says... Hunting and shooting heritage foundation special edition.... Mine functions best with Remington yellow jacket and viper conical shaped bullets not one jam or stoppage with the Remington yellow jacket and vipers
That sounds awesome. Enjoy that beauty. On the ammo point, I have found you need good ammo that has a little pop to it. Never had an issue with this one. It's very satisfying to mag dump this little gun.
If you have a chambered round and want to decock, why not just flip the barrel up, lower the hammer, then close the barrel?
You can do that. I have done it. It's kinda cool when I hit the barrel lever. It flips the round out hard. It goes flying across the room.

Great little gun. That’s a Bobcat. The Tomcat is the .32 gun
Thank you very much. I will edit the title.
@@copgun No biggie. I have the same gun. Good to see you like yours too.
How is this illegal in Mass?

@@copgun funny how just south of you in Connecticut it’s perfectly legal. Gun laws are stupid.

Since Armscor gun business in the states is very strong, try Armscor 22LR ammos, Bobcat loves to prey on it without hiccups
There's no need to rack the slide.. have you ever have to lower the hammer first you pop up the barrel lower the hammer than close the barrel voila
Thank you for the education. I'm going to use your method from no one.
Cool lil gun
