I am just getting into the higher end Camo. I also live in MI and am so confused with what layer name is for what temps. Its pretty expensive to buy the incorrect model and have to buy multiple. What do you suggest to cover most applications MI hunting.
That last piece the Encounter 200. Do you have any input on the sizing? Personally I own a bunch of Kuiu in 2X, my jackets and outer layers but on the button up shirts, merino, and peleton stuff its back and forth between the XL and XXL. XXL Pelton shirts XL Merino and button ups.
Normally coats and outer layers I might go a size up but I like my base layers to be tight, really just depends on your body and how you like your close to fit, I prefer things to be tighter rather than loose
I'm in the market for this set and had one question. Would you think its possible with the right base layers paired with the encounter pants to make it below the 30 degree mark? Ive researched the Axis Hybrid Pant as well and it shows that it would be warmer for colder situations but was real stuck down with this encounter set. Great video!
For that temp I usually wear a grid type base layer, heavy boots and a good sock, upper layer is the same grid top, heated vest and encounter top, still chilly on the top end like that, usually anything colder than 40 I’ll throw a heavier jacket on top but the bottom setup works well
I have the encounter suit and wore it last season. Kuiu did a great job on it.

I use the encounter for early to mid season and proximity for late season, both are whitetail specific and are very quiet

@ thank you for the feedback
Pair that with the peloton 200 or 240
Is it wind resistant
Yes
How does the jacket fit? True to size or need to size up for layering late season?
True to size
What was the name of that 3rd piece?
It’s all the encounter series
The issue with these pants is the fact they come 34 inseam ONLY..so stupid
