Mini horses spook easy, and haven't been bred long enough to take that out of them, especially in situations like this, and they cannot hold bowels and bladder decent or for long periods generally (ive seen mini cows and general buffalo kept inside houses, but generally no..). Yes,lets bring panicky prey species with dwarfed bad bladders and bowels (yes i mean rabbits cats and dwarfed dogs too), on cramped planes with people who probably don't want to hear my ESA rooster crow in their ear for hours, hopefully even if its been bathed and diapered after spurs capped or blunted.
@Cheri Merchant i didn't understand all you stated, but majority of what i understood i dont know where you got from assuming from me (i cannot see my comment, so assume it was deleted), but.. Having been blind, paralyzed from upper torso down, and left side of my face hideously disfigured with left side and arm paralyzed etc, in wheelchair, i had many ESA people and their pets attack and act up around me in public. Imagine being only partly able to move your right arm and your head, and an "ESA" comes up and starts chewing on your leg, then nipping at your face. Maybe thats worse than someone feeling better taking their pet into food shopping places letting it also poop pee neat at whatever whenever wants as well as barking growling drooling lunging at disabled people and actually behaved trained service dogs. If your emotionally unstable to terrible degree, dogs pick up on that and act out too. People need to read books on topics some. Ok got comment i made to load.. I dont know where your psychosis is triggered, but i just stated appropriate travel animals that can generally benefit emotionally deficient like obviously yourself. That said a dog acting up, is an awesome indication of owners violent etc emotionally psychotic tendencies.. As actual service dogs receive training with handler to show how you and your dog should interact in public, not just its presence makes you "feel better" maybe, and allows you the attention you crave, while you complain that have social anxiety and need the dog etc for. BTW i actually trained service dogs and worked for years in disabled industries etc, so ive heard all the bs, but seen those who truly need service animals benefit with them greatly. Horses pigs etc do not have dexterity to even best navigate stairs and maneuver in tight delicate spaces packed in public. Decent sized Dogs have been bred for hundreds of thousands of years to adapt to our lifestyles.
@Cheri Merchant - the problem is that under the ADA a shop owner can only ask two questions : 1 is it a Service Dog ; 2 What is it trained to do. Those are the only two questions a shop owner can ask. Anyone with average intelligence can prepare an answer for those 2 questions. Then you can purchase a Support Dog vest from Ebay for less than $50. If you want to be really creative then you can get a scam certificate for about $200 online. Then if anyone challenges you, you can make a scene, scream discrimination, quote the ADA to them, threaten to sue, and then start to video them to put on TH-cam, Facebook, or Twitter. . ANYONE with average intelligence can do that. THAT IS WHY IT NEEDS TO BE REGULATED so that all players are trained and certified. The trainers need to be certified. There are many people selling "trained" dogs. The dogs need to be trained by professionals and certified by an independent trainer as safe and fit for purpose. The handler/owner needs to be trained and certified as competent. . Each dog then needs to have a registration number put on their vest like the registration plate on my car. This will dramatically reduce the amount of fraud and make the reporting of badly trained dogs that slip through the system easier. . There needs to be balance. I do not like Government regulation as they remove your freedom. But you need to remember that the ADA has removed the freedom of a store owner to say no to a dog he/she is not sure about. The store owner, or in this case the airline, has a duty of care to everyone in his store. The ADA has now put the storeowner at risk of being sued because of an untrained dog. The balance would be to have strong licencing and regulation of these dogs. . Be grateful that you and no one you care abouts life is so fucked up that theyve had to rely upon another species to survive ( there are many illnesses and disorders that dogs can detect long before our modern technology can due to their keen sense of smell) and deal with ignorant self centered people in public who cant be inconvenienced by others who dont stack up to their standards. They should be forced to show proof that the ESA has been trained to at least basic and advanced obidance training. I'm sorry but ESAs should be required to have at least this and pass a good citizenship test for public access if they are going to fly.
@TexasCowboyKing exactly in my opinion though an ESA should be at least basic training & have to pass a good citizenship test to be allowed to just be in a public place that allows pets. I have both a SD & an ESA. My ESA has basic command training under her belt. She's now entering distraction training. I'm fully planning on getting her trained to take Snow my SD's place.

Why are dogs allowed on airplanes? Emotional support dog? What the hell does that mean anyways ? Dogs should not be allowed on airplanes let alone in public. They are very unstable ANIMALS. Let me say that again. It’s an ANIMAL. they are naturally filled with anxiety and can snap at any moment. Trained or not. It doesn’t matter. And it’s a bully type dog as well. Hey let’s let a 70 pound carnivore with sharp teeth ride on a plane full of people! As a society we are getting stupider and stupider every day. 😁
If someone was traveling with a cat, I would have a real problem. I am 4+ allergic to cats which would undoubtedly cause me to start wheezing and suffer chest pain. My allergies would also go off if someone is bringing on a dog but it wouldn't be as great as my cat allergy.
Perhaps you should travel with an epipen at all times then, just in case. Just as we travel with our service dogs...just in case we need them while in the air to alert us to an impending medical issue that we are unaware of before it gets out of control
Before blaming the dog for everything; 1. check to see if the injured person was on drugs, had drugs, had harmed animals before, etc.... then check with the owner to see if dog has ever attacked anyone before, and finally, emotional support dogs can sense problems with other people as well as their owner.
None of that matters. In almost every state now. It is the owners responsibility to have their dog under control. If it bites the owner is responsible.
Maybe vets should physcologically evalute these emotional support animals before plane travel. A service dog is one thing. But the emotional support animal good lord. The passenger gonna be trauma for life.

As a vet assistant by an airport etc n docks, oddly real n full pits never bite people, but people breed pit strength into unstable retriever pointer etc gun hound Dalmatian dane etc breeds, n they are terrible as bred raised and trained. Pure pits ive aeen n been able to handle shot stabbed beaten, hit by vehicles, multiple bones broke by other animals with skin n flesh torn open organs damaged, n they just whine licking begging to be helped and loved from anyone. BUT, that is not an excuse for a poorly, and/or down right violent dog. ESA's SHOULD be allowed on flight. It is perfectly acceptable. And training is not a requirement. This is very conflicting for me. As someone with an ESA, I hate to hear horror stories. BUT on the other hand, I would be quite p'd off if someone's emotional support dog attacked me.. I do believe (like service dogs) it is the owners responsibility to train/handle there dog appropriately. :)

topkinginer I heard that the dog who attacked the man was a pitbull and I'm guessing that for polically correct reasons this fact was left out. Also other passengers saw the owner of the pitbull crying and saying "I hope that my dog isn't taken away from me."The owner is a psychopathic narcissist who loves his dog even after this brutal attack and most likely would still love the dog even if the passenger was killed. He loves this kind of dog because being that he is cruel he can relate to dangerous dogs. The dog needs to be put down and the owner arrested.

Heather Mefford in most states there is no service dog certification and emotional supports aren’t service dogs
First Last learn to talk to someone correctly before you try to educate them places have different laws people like you make it difficult for the public to listen to us when all you do is say everyone is wrong except me like a child🙄
It doesn’t matter how much you train a mutt Sooner or later it will go back to its natural instinct and snap at any moment, I think it was in France where a rott weiler attacked 3 people and cops showed up and had to shoot it, when they investigated what happened the owner said it had the best training it could possibly get and Was refereed as a citizen after they completed that program so it doesn’t matter how much you train it, dogs are worthless
Jason Chuchon this was literally an emotional support not a service dog but whatever I won’t wast my breath on hot garbage
@@jaycee9540 just because you dont do research, and are afraid of badly kept lesser beings, doesn't mean everyone should. Animals always have clear reasons, they are not people. This Is years working with animals from rodents to bears etc. Act evolved, your making the rest of us look bad.
If your emotions are so unstable that you need a support dog, you should be in weekly therapy.
Now that is spot on. Or, have someone go out for you til you are strong enough.
And not allowed to fly at all
🌈If your emotions are unstable, you don't need an emotional support animal for comfort. You just have to remember that the Christian God, Triple Goddess, Horned God, Universe, whoever you believe in, loves you.
@@alisona6033 God is the one that allowed the devil to create the emotional instability. He is all things, and all thing come to be through him. So he causes a problem, just so you have to come back to him so he can fix it. God sounds like an abusive boy friend. I'll pass.
@@timthompson8235 🌈I guess you're right. However, even if my emotions are unstable, I wouldn't get an emotional support dog because I wouldn't want it to bite anyone. I might get some other animal. Or I'd just do the things I love.
This, when people ask for a change of seat get dragged off in handcuffs, world gone mad.
Dogs should not be allowed in the cabin of a jet.
period.
I think flights should only allow trained legit service dogs or mini horses and keeps normal pets in a kennel for a fee I think that this ESA stuff is pure BS
The balance would be to have strong licencing and regulation of these dogs.
.
By use of an analogy, before I can drive on the roads I have to demonstrate that I am a competent driver as per State regulations. Before I can put my car on the road, I have to have my vehicle certified as safe and fit for purpose. I am then licensed and so is my vehicle. We could never have a system where in order to drive my car on the road, I would be asked 2 questions: 1 Are you are competent driver 2. Is your car safe? Such a system would be open for abuse. Instead both my driving skills and my vehicle are certified.
.
The system regarding Service Dogs / Therapy Dogs / Emotional support Dogs urgently needs to be regulated. This mauling is just another example that proves the current system is a JOKE.
No, if your too much of a weak stick you shouldn't be allowed to fly.
What about Scooby Do
fully trained Emotional Support Dog traind like a fully trained Service Dog RIGHT "They take their pets as their Emotional Support Dogs" with fake paperwork and Fake I'D tags so they can take their pets on for free.
This was4 years ago. As of February 2021, emotional supports are no longer allowed in the cabin. Thank God
EMOTIONAL SUPPORT DOGS....LET THE...HUMANS...JOIN THE DOG....IN THE CARGO HOLD!!!! BAN...EMOTIONAL SUPPORT ANIMALS!!! PEOPLE WITH EMOTIONAL PROBLEMS ............CAN FIND ANOTHER WAY ..........TO TRAVEL IF THEY....WANT THEIR ANIMAL BY THEIR SIDE!!!!
You don't need ANY kind of animal inside a plane with you - service animal or emotional support. If you're blind - a steward will see you to your seat, and help you during your flight. If you have a mental illness that means you can't function without your pet beside you - you need to be in a fucking locked ward and not inside a plane with hundreds of other fare paying passengers.
yep!
@First Last bull check your own freeking blood sugar! i know plenty of diabetics who check their sugars every few hours, have regular snacks and have no need.
Seizure alert dogs, medical alert dogs etc. As a handler of a very well trained service dog( over 2000 hours of training) its very dehumanizing to always have to rely on others especially strangers to get thru our daily lives just like you are able to because of the cards that life has dealt you. We service dog handlers are just as frustrated as the rest of you by these untrained emotional support dogs on planes, they give real working dogs and their handlers a very bad image.
Denying a service animal is discrimination against the disabled. The problem here is ESAs.
@@Inciliusnebulifer I can understand if it would be handful of people, but this is just crazy...the changes to sit next to a beatifull lady is far more less then sitting next to Service Dog...This world is really evolving!
So,Will this affect my 29lb emotional support skunk? He is not gonna bite you! I promise! When he stomps his cute little hind legs> Its just a stress reliever! Oh,I hope I can still fly with my little Shalimar!!!!
Ever heard of a MUZZLE ? ANY dog in that situation should have one ! No matter the size !
How can Delta squeeze a dog and a man in a middle seat???? In 1 seat? Both the airline and owner are responsible. Also, his seatmates needs to be notified, so people can change seats.
you cannot do that, because if you complain the dog and the owner will not be removed but you will certainly be taken out of the plane escorted by police..this is the world we live in. I saw a clip where a passenger boldy made statement she didnt want to sit next to dog..and she was the one who was seen as a threat.
EMOTIONAL SUPPORT ANIMAL MY A$$ !! THESE DOGS ARE NOT LIKE SERVICE DOGS WHO ARE TRAINED!! SCRAP THAT LAW ALLOWING ANIMALS INSIDE A PLANE CABIN !!

They should be forced to show proof that the ESA has been trained to at least basic and advanced obidance training. I'm sorry but ESAs should be required to have at least this and pass a good citizenship test for public access if they are going to fly.
Same here
@TexasCowboyKing exactly in my opinion though an ESA should be at least basic training & have to pass a good citizenship test to be allowed to just be in a public place that allows pets. I have both a SD & an ESA. My ESA has basic command training under her belt. She's now entering distraction training. I'm fully planning on getting her trained to take Snow my SD's place.
ESA are just feel good shit. Service dogs on the other hand are actual working dogs with training and certification. get rid of ESA. it's a scam.
It seems the law was badly written.
it is written by a dog owner, he sees everything in perspective from a dogs eyesight.
Yes, and it is time the ADA rewrite tbe laws and stop this silly ESA.
Trapped between an airplane window and an aggressive dog. Not a position I'd like to be in.
PUT DOG DOWN
It's tasted human blood ...That Dog Must Be Put Down!!!

That's insane.
What a scam! Anyone can pay for bogus paperwork online.
What does being a veteran have to do with anything?
I just got a dog for my esa theres alot going on with me we have a disability that no one can see and we appear to be in good health but we're not but I wont fly with my dog unless she's properly trained I believe esa animals should be trained especially for a crowded closed in spot such as a plain
m.th-cam.com/video/9gEiTBnzOfQ/w-d-xo.html
I cant argue with this logic..
@Ramen Lover shrug...dont sit near us then
No, not a support animal...
Service dogs are amazingly well trained. Seeing-Eye Dogs as well. Everyone else's pooch, not so much. At all.
Very true. Thank you
This is why ESA’s don’t have public access rights and they are no longer allowed in plane cabins.
Well sue the owner! If my kid did that I would be responsible.
Clearly someone cut corners or greased palms for bogus certs.
Sounds like a lawsuit to me.. Gotta milk some cash from that guy. Well deserved too.
Sue the sht out of Delta..bottom line.
If it bites the owner is responsible.
dafuq. blaming the victim? you're a POS
Maybe vets should physcologically evalute these emotional support animals before plane travel. A service dog is one thing. But the emotional support animal good lord. The passenger gonna be trauma for life.
Let me guess: A pitbull or s pit type dog
nadine brown Stop it.....this was clearly done by a Poodle , you just been racist 😂😂😂
Lmao "pit type dog" ..ur clueless as fuck
fun fact: pitbull isn't a real dog breed.
Usually actually labs and mixes mistakenly said pitbulls.. Fighting pits bred never bite people (ironic but true because guess you wouldn't want two dogs going off on you or one even handling after fight..). People never think before they speak, or better yet bother to learn.
That reporter loves talking with her hands, imagine her at dinner telling a story. Jesus!
If you cant fly without some stinking dog then dont fly.
North Carolina..ughh...go figure.
Law suit !!!💵💵💵💵💵💵
it was picking up on owners stress emotion and also the other mans emotions so it triggered a response that would never norm happen just sadly this moment escalated
bull, emotional support animals are NOT service animals unless its a guide dog or hearing dog, animals have no right in a cabin put them in the hull like any other pet
The reporter lady in airport reminds me of Sharon Stone.
I got tormented by a stupid little sharpei, from NYC to Portland Or..Fucking thing kept snarling at me and snapping. I asked to change seats, but no one would,,{cant say that I blame them..} If that dog had made contact Id have broken its little teeny nose and probably killed it. The woman kept saying"Dont look at her eyes, and dont move fast..She feels threatened,",,Well,I feel threatened by a 16 lb of angry teeth snaring at me,snarling,The stewards could do nothing. She had papers...But Ill tell ya,,next time? The dog gets a short ,sharp ,shock.Ive had enough..I love my critters too,but dont feel ike they have to go with me ,everytime I take a trip..Stupid
selfish people.
Probably it was a misbehaving dog with an lying pet owner! Thats why i ALWAYS fly latam XD (just for my family tho AND vacation with my family) GO FLY LATAM (that even allows singing dogs!
Wait first is the support dog owners white?
Bro that's because ESA arnt allowed ;-;
emotional support dog 🤣😂😅🤣
Emotional support animals are real. The need for them is real. This particular vet needed his dog for support. Just because of what happened does not mean the dog was a fake. :)
Oh, don't be such a pussy in life..
Emotional support dogs are pets. If you cannot be without your pet, drive or have soneone drive you.
This was 4 years ago. Ask you probably know, ad of February 2021. Esa are no longer allowed in cabin area. Because there is no required training for them
for every one legit ESA dog, there are probably at least 10 fake ones who just want to skirt the rules. Just need to get them out of apartments now.
Dogs know when someone is shady
Yes, let's blame the victim? You dog lovers are a hoot.
John Butts lol, i know right
Some dogs have killed babies.Must have been shady babies.
Shady- on its own doesnt warrant preemptive dog bites. Fuckface
topkinginer I heard that the dog who attacked the man was a pitbull and I'm guessing that for polically correct reasons this fact was left out.
I'm on the dogs side he knows something lmao
i do hope youre being funny!
