Forgot to mention my last swap. About half a year ago, I ordered 3 x 40 Liters of tree fern. Clearly, I didn't know my measurements. Waaay to much for me. So I swapped a bag for a couple of Anthurium seedlings that were on my wishlist. :) Very happy.
There is a big plant swap downtown in Toronto once a year that I know of, I haven’t been to the swap. Your plant swap in London looked like lots of fun 😀🇨🇦
We don't really have plant swap events per se, but we do have fairly active facebook groups and trade plants regularly, even by mail! You post photos of what you have extra and list what you're looking for or are in need of (substrates, pots...) Usually I don't get updated on how my propagations are doing unless they're traded with people I know in person, but I do like to send the updates, especially when the plants I got are doing well :) (if I remember who I got it from, and even if it was bought, not traded)

It looks like a relly cool event :-) I wish we had something like this in the Czech Republic too - as far as I know of, there only selling events but not truly swaping events. The only swaps I have seen here: people just placed it on a table for anyone to take away (usually without any labels) - so no conversation ever happened

I love the ficus! I have 2! They like well draining soil and to dry out but not too much. They like bright light and mostly, once you find a spot they like, don't move them. I've traded with people on my local facebook group (I'm in the States) and the local group is quite big.
You will have to come to our next FACEPLNT event. We didn't do one this year, because there was so much going on, but next year, for sure. AND YOU WILL COME! :D Would love to catch up in person. Glad you had a good Sunday.
