Hi Mike. I really liked the sound of the fast attack on the electronic track, but couldnt help looking at the meter, kind of pinned to the 4db GR? It definitely sounded good to my ears but just wanted to know if this is common practice for such a compression technique?

I watch every video post from you! Your knowledge is extensive! LOL I would like your opinion on Acustica Audio SAND, as that is my go-to for anything SSL. (I do also own UAD and Waves versions)
I will check it out. My general opinion about acoustica is that their approach to processing gets very sloppy with artifacts when the source signal gets complex.
Michael White I can completely understand your view on that! I trust your opinion, that's why I asked. I watched your review of PINK for the 2nd time and it made me hold off on buying it, only to do more research. These are my favorite plugins to use, at the moment and the tech is getting even better every month! Thanks again for your time to explain things! I appreciate it.
I need to learn more about some of their other offerings. It's easy to get thrown off by one plugin and lose some real gems. Wish I had more time...
Waves need to play catch up and re-emulate their SSL suite unless their strategy is to start selling it for $29. Great review thanks. I want one!

how did you do this beautifull cymbal splash, seems a fast attack and long release but where and exactly or maybe iÂīm confuse, bur they sound awesome i have listen to that in lots of your mixes, about the SSL it sound good but the real thing is to feed apart, this are not close at all
Cut at around 7-8k on a bell and shelve up the overall high end. It cuts away the harshness and allows the air of the cymbal to cut through.
